That question is lost in wonder land! *Alice in wonderland, shall we accompany you?*Agreed, Sagar's recovery wasn't going to happen on the first of march, but what the hell, no clues or hints are being given about it either!

Dennis Wholey: "Expecting the world to treat you fairly because you are a good person is a little like expecting the bull not to attack you because you are a vegetarian."

This applies to Vidya very much! Yes, it is a very good quality to pray and trust God always, and she shouldn't ever stop doing this, but you've got to do things yourself too! Also, I guess somewhere she thinks her goodness will save her from all evils! [But I don't like this quote, don't ask me why, I'm trying to figure it out myself as to why I dislike it😕]

Janwillem van de Wetering: "Greed is a fat demon with a small mouth and whatever you feed it is never enough."

Surili this is a very specific advice just for you!

George Bernard Shaw: "The problem with communication ... is the illusion that it has been accomplished."

To all the people in the Singh household who eavesdrop on conversations and especially to Sagar's mom who never lets Vidya complete what she says..It's just a haan or naa, and it's done..

*Pleading Request: Don't Kill the Messenger*

On the first quote I will disagree because I don't think it suits her entirely. More on that later.

The second quote I do agree, but I think I'd modify it a little, in the sense that in addition to never being satisfied, they try to eat things to larger for the small mouth to handle...Hopefully that makes sense in keeping with the metaphor of the mouth and demon.

The third quote applies to basically anyone in the T.V Soap Land. Mostly all characters assume they heard right or jump to conclusions. Another completely annoying thing, is asking questions that can not even possibly be answered in a yes or no, but still expecting a concrete answer. Including the ever famous, "Bas haan ya naa mein jawaab do."

Aah coming back to the first quote...I know you were waiting so patiently😆... where I take the great opportunity to bore you with my defense of Vidya. Don't ask why I love defending Vidya, I just do.

I don't think the quote suits her (btw it's a good quote but I'm not entirely to fond of it or the analogy either. It somehow just doesn't sit right). First of all because I don't think that Vidya feels that her goodness prevents her from all evils. (Did the make sense?) She is good in heart and mind but doesn't expect her life to bear no illness because of her virtue. She knows that bad comes with the good as is part of life, or who would need God. The folly in Vidya is that she projects her goodness on others too, hence viewing only the good in people.

Anne Frank said "There is one good in everybody." Vidya's goodness allows her to see only this goodness, to sometimes a blind aspect.

So I guess to maybe requote..."Expecting the world to be good because you are, is like expecting the tiger to be a vegetarian because you are.."

Okay that was terrible...but hopefully you understood what I was trying to convey...

Let alone capable, she is all set to worsen her problems, by getting started on the idea of signing the transfer papers...how foolish of her to think/want to do l this, after all she knows about Surili!

Ooohhh, I really like that Wafah ji, eat things larger for the small mouth..!!😛 Really does fit the demon thought very well.... and it's exactly what Surily is doing.

Oh God, i know, they never let the person give an explanation argh it can be chooo frustrating sometimes..!! BEcause then all the problems start, and then the main character just forgets to tell them about it later....

Oohh, i really like the last line...... that describes Vidya perfectly😊 you are right, something about the quote naggled me a bit too, i think about the part about being a vegetarian.... but that's completely different.! Yap, Vidya knows that Surily is bad, that Sindoora is bad, but refuses to actually believe it and have that realisation because she's got this nature of looking for good in everyone....

Anne Frank said "There is one good in everybody." Vidya's goodness allows her to see only this goodness, to sometimes a blind aspect.

Areyy no, Wafah ji that was a nice re-write!!😊 i really like that actually, it sounds much better than the original. wah wah!

Okay that was terrible...but hopefully you understood what I was trying to convey...

Aah wafah it's good to see your posts again!😛 And I see what you mean " They try to eat things too large for the small mouth to handle" just like the little boy story, where he puts his hand in a jar full of peanuts and grabs too many, thus prohibiting him from taking his hand out of the jar, but when he dropped half of the peanuts, his fist became smaller, thus allowing him to take out his hand from the jar...(I knew there was something about this quote that I didn't like, thanks for pointing it out Wafah!)

So true, explanations shouldn't be limited to a mere yes or no, because there could be many things that stand in between the yes and no...many things that do not define a yes or no completely...and true the tv land portrays this a lot...

When I read the first quote, I was kind of going back to the Vidya who saw good in Sindoora after all she's done to her...I guess to put it in right jest "Her goodness prevents her from seeing evil" and like you said, she sees only the good in people! Aah, exactly.I love your ability to reason with anything...absolutely agree with your requote!

That was so not terrible, in fact you made a lot of reasonable sense! I simply loved it! And yes it did convey your thoughts! Aah, am thinking I should post more quote of the days, atleast we'll get you to share your thoughts more often!😛

Keep smiling...
