My friend absolutely adores AD and so do I so she convinced me to write a fan fic.

Divya pov.

dreaming:

His clothes were wet. His hair was wet as well and was clung to his head. He looked angry almost as if he were to slap me out unconsious. "I cannot believe people like you" he spoke pronouncing every word and syllable clearly.

"BETA wake up!" my mom called

"Beta do you want to be late, I didn't think so. Agar nai jana tho phone karlay na magar phir pasey kasey miley gai or bill kon paraga?( if you don't want to wake up then phone your offficce but than who will bring money and who will pay off the bills?)

god mom and her lectures.

I quickly got up and got dressed.

I drove out to work while taking a round about I saw HIM. He looked exactly like the dude from my dream. He was standing by a puddle how dum. Anyone could splash him by. I took a right turn and he got splashed. what a loser.

I rolled down my window to say sorry but was interupted by him

"Can't you drive properly"

"excuse me but who's the one by a puddle"

" Good morning mam. We have a new staff member who will be working with you on the rangat project" chandu said.

I waited patientally in my office. I went for my cup of tea.

" excuse me is this ms.divya? I'm here for the rangat project"

I looked up and caught his eye and immediately spit out my tea

" TUM!?" we both said at the same time.

I am going to dedicate this one to hot chilly!

There he was still wet. I hesitantly spoke "ummm take a seat mr. a-a-amar"

" yes thank you but you see I'm wet and I'll get you chair wet"

god attitude problems

" well whatever. I was thinking for the rangat hotel project we could find a suitaable location and I can do the interior design for it"

he grabbed my hand in force. it didn't hurt one bit it felt warm and nice and it sent shivers down my spine

"NO I WILL

" what about we decide that later and find out a location"

finally he has some sense

"okay then, until the nest meeting MR.AMAR" I said as I clenched my jaw bone. not even a whole day i hate this dude and to make it worse i have to work with him.

I left to go home.

when i got home i saw a note from mom

gone to get groceries be back by 5

thats funny it is 7

then my phone started ringing

"hello m.s divya your mom has been in a car crash and is very critical. she only has 4 hours left."

I got a picture of dad and left to go to the hospital.

I made my way to her room

"MOM" i ran beside her bed

"beta don't cry. I'm sorry I'm leaving but whatever happens,happens for a reason. and god needs me right now. but don't worry he'll send someone for you okay. and if you ever miss me look up in the sky I'll be right there with your papa watching over you"

"mom don't say that'

I placed papas picture by the stand near her she took it and kissed and put it byb her chest

"promise me one thing divya, promise me that you will get married to meera aunty's son"

thats impossible she moved

"didn't she move"

" she's back for good. this was your papa's last wish and it is my last wish as well. when you were little you used to play with him. please promise me"

" I promise"

"hello parvati. how are you"

a women came to my mom

"meera this is my daughter divya"

"beautiful. I remember when you were little , you've grown so big."

aunty is so nice. Now I know why ma wants me to get married to her son.

I started crying on aunty's shoulder.

"beta don't cry, i'm assuming you heard about the marriage"

"yes and I'm ready"

"okay beta"

aunty kissed my forehead.

I looked to my mom who was slowly closing her eyes.

that was it shes gone.

I sobbed harder onto aunty's shoulder

1 week later

Today is the ladies sangeet and mehndi. I postponed rangat for 1 month. but whoever i was getting married to didn't come for the mehndi. he instead was at a meeting.

I got ready in tears. I went outside to the balcony and looked up at the sky.

'ma, pa i miss you. this is for you. your little girls getting married.see papa today my hands will have mehdndi" I saw a smiley in the sky. I smiled to myself and shed a single tear before going downstairs.

the girls put mehndi on my hand. He came, i thought he was at a meeting. I didn't look up to see his face. we exchanged rings and i got my mehndi done.

I didn't know what to feel. soon everyone left it was only me and aunty

"aunty thank you for being here for me"

"call me ma now. beta you didn't smile the whole time, please smile for me for your mom, for your dad"

I remembered the smiley face that i connected with the starts earliers today and gave a weak smile

"goodnight ma"

"goodnight beta and don;t forget to smile.

I was sitting at the mandit I looked up because it was time for sindoor and the mangulsutra. It was the first time I was gonna see his face but it was covered. He put sindoor in my maang. his touch was warm and sent shivers down my spine. He put my mangusutra still the same touch. where had i felt this before. soon the marriage was done. The whole marriage process for me was depressing no one sang or danced and I asked for no reception party.

I was sitting on the bed. it was decorated beautifully with flowers. then i heard footsteps to the side of the bed. I was to shy to look up. I felt the bed go down. he was beside me. His hand slowly brought up my face. I looked up and saw AMAR!

Thought about doing one last one.

recap: divya got married to amar and she didn't even know

I can't believe I got married to Amar. No wonder his name was no familiar. and his touch was familiar.

"amar tum"

"Divya tum?"

I got married to Divya unbelievable. no wonder her name sounded so familiar. I used to love her when I was little. every game we played I was her husband. I can't believe everything she's been through.

" I;m sorry Divya. I was rude to you. I can't believe it was you my childhood friend. I;m sorry about your mom"

"it's okay Amar whatever happens, it happens for a reason"

Should I sleep on the same bed as her...no i don't think I should.

" I'll sleep on the floor Divya"

"No Amar it's your room"

"It's your room too"

"its more of your room"

" I can't believe we're fighting about sleeping"

just like in the office.

i started laughing. she joined me too.

"you know amar this is the first time in a while I've laughed thank you"

I went over to the balcony to look at they sky

I saw the smiley face. It was still there but this time the smile was bigger making me smile. Soon amar joined me

"Amar you see those starts they make a smiley"

" Yesterday they were in the sky as well but it was a bit smaller. and you see that star all the way there off to the right thats my mom and the one beside it my dad.

" seems as if they're happy for you"

"it was there last wish that I'd get married to you."

"divya are you happy?"

" i think so.ma is nice and papa as well"

"I think you're okay but you have to give me time"

I felt kind of happy that she's giving me a chance

I never know Amar was this sweet. Maybe I might start to love him.

I laid down on the bed. Amar was on the left and I was on the right. You could probably put two more people between us. But I liked him giving me space.

(narrator)

Soon Amar fell asleep but Divya couldn't go to sleep. She looked at amar and moved near him and caressedhis face. she saw him shiver so she pulled up the covers so that he was warm. she then continued to caress his face. He started smiling in his sleep and put his arm around her. divya blushed, she tried to move his arm but it wouldn't budge. but she felt warm and safe in his arms and soon enough drifted to sleep.

Well since today I have nothing to do I thought I'll probably add another one, just because I feel very lovey dovey and also since I need to add to the story. One more thing in mind I might not post regurly so when I post I'll probably post like3 or 4 parts.

(Divya) I woke to see it was 6:00. I thought about sleeping more but I wanted to cook food for Amar, ma and papa. I tried getting out of Amar's grip but he was too strong so I took a chance and gave him a small kiss on the cheek. He let go and started smiling. He looked soo cute. She then saw a box with a beautiful sari with a note.

dear divya hopefully you're awake. well ma told me a newly dulhan in our household is always given a sari from her husband that she is to wear the first day. And the bangle is family bangle which is passed on to each dulhan.

As I came out the bathroom I saw Amar still sleeping hugging a pillow. So I left the room to the kitchen.

(Amar)

I woke up slowly to see Divya gone. That means she got the sari. I looked and say my note I turned it around. It said THANK YOU. I took a pen and wrote YOUR WELCOME. and kissed the letter. I got up and changed quickly. When I came downstairs I saw Divya serving food to everyone. She looked beautiful. Do I still love her. I think I do.

"Good morning everyone"

"good morning beta" dad said

I sat in my seat. Divya was serving me a parahta.Yum and it was aloo my fav. she then took a seat beside me.

" Mama, papa if it's okay with you I would like hand over the company to amar and quit working"

"Why Divya" I asked curious

" well I'm maarried now and there's no point of working besiedes I got another person to help you with the project and if you need my opinion you can ask'

But I don't want to work with anyone but her.

"okay then"

"have you thought of your honeymoon" mom asked

"Look Amar Beta I already got you tickets to Switzerland but it's after a month"

"it's okay papa I was actually thinking of going a month later on anyways"

"Well AMAR hows the food?"

"It's really good ma your the best cook!"

Divya started to blush

" I didn't make the food Divya did"

" well then bye I have to go to work"

AT WORK:

I'm supposed to be meeting my new partner for the rangat project. It's been 15 minutes. who ever it is is sooo late.

"hello umm is this mr.amar's cabin" a girl asked

"yes take a seat"

" well i'm Gauri Mitul I'm your new partner for the Rangat Project"

" ok lets begin"

we started to talk about work and suddenly she came closer to me, and closer and I liked it, it was different .

" well I should go now, it was nice meeting you amar. We should fix a location tomorrow"

As she left she dropped something I went close to it. It was her number.

Oh weird.

(narrator) It was night time now and Amar finally came home. Divya had prepared food for him. But Amar ignored it and went to his room and quickly dialed up Gauri's phone. He completely forgot about Divya. They were going to be meeting at 8:00 in the morning. So he got up and left.

(amar)

We looked around all day and decided at a location near the beach. while we were at the beach we decided to hang out a bit. She suddenly same closer to me.

(divya at home) I don't get it one day Amar is all thankful the next I don't even exist. I really need to get out. So I decided on wearing a salwar kameez.

I drove to the beach. It was beautiful the moon was shining. I looked up to see the smiley face a sad face. It made me wonder. I saw a couple on the beach kissing.

I made my way near the water as I was walking alond I bumped into the couple that was kissing earlier and saw AMAR. He's cheating on me. I'm his wife and he's with someone else. He looked up to see my shocked face. I coudln't take it so I ran back to the car. I drove home I told Ma everything she was disaponited in Amar. She gave me keys to their farm house which all the way in Punjab. I thought about it, it was far but then again it was far away from Amar. I saw him outside the house with whoever she is in the car. I didn't want him seeing me so I snuck from the back. I asked our driver to leave me at the train station. But the truth was the way there I realized it hurt because I loved Amar. I definitely knew it wasn't the girl's fault because he could've stopped her.

(AMAR)

I got Gauri in the car and drove to myself but I couldn't find her.

How could I be so stupid. I forgot about Divya. I'm married what on earth did I do. I looked at Gauri

and she was laughing.Then it struck me she didn't know I was married.

"Gauri I;m married to someone"

" It's okay Amar one night won't do any harm"

I started to think about what she said she was kind of right. But I don't love her.

"No Gauri, I'm sorry. I quitting the Rangat project"

She slapped me and stomped off.

I entered the house and went to MA

Mom looked at me and slapped me. Papa did the same.

I started to tear up so I ran to my room. I looked at the letter that we used to message each other with and kissed it. I didn't know what to do. I now knew why it hurt and why I felt guilty because I love Divya.

(I might do one last post tonight)
