Sagar's POV
Isha was, cute. she was fun to hang around with, and was very pretty. What else would a guy want in a girl,
"She's kind of weird" I looked at Vidya as she said that, "What makes you say that?" I asked confusedly. Vidya seemed to shruggle with her words, "Do you even know her?" She sat straight up, "Well, yeah, sort of. ... I know enough to say you shouldnt be with her" I let out a laugh, "Im not with her, we are simply friends, you know like you and I" Vidya made a face, "Heyyy, don't compare our friendship, with yours and ISHA's. THere is something about that girl that just, i don't know...." She used her hands as she talked, i couldn't help but laugh, "Don't worry Vidya, I know what im doing. Don't worry about who im with and how my girlfriends or friends are. Relax." She hated when id say relax, because she knew it was just another way of saying SHUT UP. She glared at me, that awful glare again. "Come on, i'm just telling you for your own good" she sat in front of me. "I appreciate it, thanks but listen Vidya, just like how i stayed away from your relationship with Awan, i think you should do the same with isha." i said it the nicest way i could. only i HOPE i did.
"That's different, there's nothign wrong with Awan!" Ok, that got me
"No one is perfect Vidya, everyone makes mistakes" sometimes i felt like pulling her head apart from her neck. "If there is something abotu Isha that i need to know, other than what she had already told me, she'll come clean."
Vidya was silent for a few seconds. there was a moment where she opened her mouth just to close it again. Im telling you, isha isn't the weird one, Vidya is. How i became friends with her, ill never know. Then again, im fine with it, shes a good girl. I let otu a sigh, "Listen Manu, Isha told me about her ex-fiance, there's nothing weird about that-"
"Yeah, i know there's nothing weird about that, i just called her weird cuz i had nothing else to say" She pouted, ok i gotta admit that was pretty cute. I curved my arm around her neck and pulled her head, to give her a light nuggy. She quickly escaped my strangle and ran inside the house. I sat back laughing and tilted my head to the side to see Vijay sit on the seat beside me, "Heyy you up?" i said, my enthusiasm still visible, "uh.. Hey yeah, i couldnt sleep....., what was that all about?" He looked back inside the house. I looked back and turned towards him, "Ah, nothing, just the usual, playing around." Jay let out a laugh, "Make sure you dont get carried away, she's taken" I looked confused as i felt a tight pull in the pit of my stomach. Something, i've never felt before. It felt weird in a good way, which was quire weird, i mean since when has weird become good? I ignored it and sat up facing Vijay, "don't worry i know my limits, how about you watch what you're doing, you arent married to Jiya and yet you two are so close." He looked down, and i could see a blush coming along, wow, that girl has really got him. "I don't know man, something about her, has gotten me so close, i forgot how to stay away." We both laughed and continued talking. After a long while Vijay jumped, "Hey i forgot to tell you, Isha called your cell, it was inside so uh yeah" I thanked him and walked inside, passing Jiya on my way, she smiled at me and headed outside to Vijay. I looked back as she sat on his lap and noticed how happy Vijay, seemed, wow, he's already met his one and only" I turned only to stumble back, i quickly balanced myself and who else but Vidya who couldn't see where she was going. "Watch it, whats the hurry?" She looked up at me and smiled, "Thanks, sorry, nothing, i gotta get my phone, it;s ringing" She ran to the other room, and i heard her almost yelp. OFcourse it was Awan. I took my phone in my hands and as clumsy as i could be, it slipped my hands and fell to the floor. Damn it. I bent down to pick it up and place the loose battery back in it. Turning it on, i dialed Isha's number, with two hands. I sat on the couch waiting for her to pick up. After a long moment, i hung up, she hadn't picked up. I ignored the thought and almost fell asleep.
Too bad i had awoken by Vidya's light giggles. I sat up and looked to my side. OK. that just annoyed me, out of ALL places in this houses, she had to come in the room i was sleeping in and talk on her phone. Jeez. I gestured for her to go away. SHe ignored me, ughhhh I got up and stood infront of her.
"Ok, byee" She hung up the phone and smiled, "Hi" I gave her a lousy smile and grabbed her phone from her. "Heyyy!!" SHE STood up and ran after me. We ended up on either side of the coffee table, "Give me my phone back" "NO, this is wat you get for waking me up" "What? were you having a dream about some girl or something?" We encircled the table and stopped on either side again. "No, but i was really tired, and you just had to wake me up with your little giggling. She gave me a sarcastic look "I swear i will run across this table. I smiled, "Beats me" I shrugged my shoulders. She let out a sigh and whined, ''ugh come on'', and walked away. "Fine keep it" she is weird. I threw her phone aside after she had entered the kitchen and sat on the couch opposite to the where i had thrown the phone.
Ok, ego attacks sometimes, i didn't know what else to do. Vidya walked back in the living rooom with a water bottle in her hand and eyed her phone. She looked at me, to which i gave a confused look. And ran to get her phone. Nope, i wasn't going to let her, i nearly jumped to get it. like i said, ego attacked me. We both reached for the phone and bumped our heads in the process. Yup ego sucks. OUCH. she had a hard head. "Why is your head so heavy?" i held my head with one hand, while still holding the phone. She had done the same, "Shut up, thats cuz i got more brains than you" Wow, that hurt. she laughed at her own stupid joke. Which made me laugh, i mean come on, it was the most corniest joke i heard, and when she laughed at it, i couldnt help but laugh too. I slowly let go of the phone, to notice she had doen the same. Ok, i controlled my ego, i let her have HER phone. she took her phone, "Thank you" she said and got up to leave. she fell back on the couch, surprising me. stupid water bottle tripped me" i rolled my eyes, whatever.
My cell began ringing and i reached over to get it, but little did i know vidya was reaching for it too. i stopped half way and looked at her. She looked back with an expressionless face. I had forgotten about my phone, my hand fell back to my side as i caught up in Vidya's eyes. once again, she drowned me. I hated to admit, but Vidya's eyes made my world around me shut off. They were beautiful. she looked down and i quickly became conscious, "Uh, my phone?" Vidya held it to my face, she had gotten the phone for me. It stopped ringing. i felt embarrassed, "that was weird" She didnt say anything. awkward silence.
