| Till recently, Star's afternoon band was performing poorly. This is why Kumkum was given a reincarnation makeover couple of months ago and Bhabhi was replaced with Hamari Devrani last month. While Kumkum's ratings have improved, Hamari Devrani which opened with 2-plus TVRs is currently notching up 3.3 rating, thus improving Star's afternoon slot. On the other hand, Raja Ki Aayegi Baraat, which was launched in January faced stiff competition from Dulhan at 8 pm. The fairy tale show struggled for almost five months without much success. But in the last one month, it has been doing well. While Dulhan continues to be Zee's top-rated show, Raja Ki Aayegi Baraat is fast catching up with the former with 3-plus TVRs. (Snippet by A.L.C) |
