Omaxe india conducted a survey across viewers in age group (15 to 44 yrs) in hindi general entertainment channels across the cities of Delhi, Ahmedabad, Lucknow ,Indore & Jalandhar. According to this media marketing watch study the most popular & loved fictional characters from soaps are:
1)ANANDI(balika vadhu) younger version
2)DHARAMRAAJ MAHIYAVANSHI(bandini)
3)Archana(pavitra rishta)
4)jethabhai(tarak mehta ka ooltah chashma)
