Actually for a MTP or medical termination of pregnancy fathers consent is irrelevant if the mother wants to terminate and the father does not MTP can be performed.

@tunisian --- however, as you have said anything is possible in Ekta and Balaji Telefilms world. Timelines and other small little facts are of no consequence.

Even though i do not think that Vishal is Sanraj kid, if he is then for sure she can have normal kids, so basically they just want the serial to be little khushi and more gum than kabhi khushi kabhi gum.

Agree with you Arshi Ramona & all of you who beleive, that this track is good ..it is bringing out the deep deep love what SANRAJ feel for each other , it is getting out that KID in DM hidden somewhere..awww..& as I have said earlier & will repeat it....EKTHA is not the SAME ONE ANYMORE..she has changed for GOOD But yeah she will use soem old WINE but in a new bottle & flavour ..so the ending will be more realistic or should I say POSITIVE...Specially BANDINI has been a landmark as far as Ekta is concerned in my POV.

in a lot of indian soaps particularly those showing unmarried girls going for abortions the medical staff are always shown asking for the consent form to be signed by the baby's father & even are shown asking for princely sums when the girls cannot produce the boyfriend to sign. And therefore it is definitely relevant in the indian context ..even in the earlier episodes wjen santu went for a tubal ligation operation the doc said this can be done without her husbands consent but if it had been an abortion it could not. I do agree that in a soap they can & will show anything as & when it suits them..but this factor of the father's consent is used repeatedly by many ..the last was on zee a few days back ..also vishal not being the sanraj kid makes little sense in the context of bandini where DM already has 4 kids from his first wife whom his second wife wholeheartedly accepted and so there is no reason why a 5th one from another woman would matter to her in the least..apart frm some initial shock.santu even expected dm to have divorced her when she returned from jail she said in that sequence when she was unveiled that since he had not she had full rights to stay in the house,so even his having had an affairin those 10 yrs however impossible it seems would be accepted by her. .it would be completely senseless to show that & much more dramatic & hence profitable for them to show it as a sanraj kid stolen from jail..they released an article to the same effect ..they also referred to santu being preg earlier..and i cant see in what other context that remark could possibly have been made..
