Shanky is wrong for hiding the letters and not confiding in Kaddu.. She should have known.. When Kaddu found the photo's early on she made such a big hoo haa.. and she was insecure wrong by Kaddu for not trusting Shanky but how would anyone feel if they found letters or photo's like Kaddu had? Kaddu felt insecure and she just put 2 + 2 together and made up a theory that her husband still loved Santu?
If he could hide the fact about it from her, she would be thinking what else must he hiding..
So when she was vulnerable instead of pacifying her and sorting out the marriage he watched Sandy take advantage of the moment and gave Kaddu a divorce..

When and ever shanky decide to take kaddu back, I'll still love him. There is one factor the parents and us are forgetting no one ask bird brain what she wants. We assume shanky cause he's a good person but that doesn't mean kaddu want him back either. I think for the first time kaddu should straighten out her own life since she's the one that destroyed it.

Deep down Kaddu still loves Sandeep. Although she was let down by him once and it wasn't just a humiliation she had to face but her father as well. No doubt she was ashamed at that time. But little did it take her to rekindle her romance back with the betrayer once again. Had she truly began loving Shashank after marrying him, she should have confronted him about it and atleast told him that if he continued she would break off all ties with him. Earlier to when she found Shanky's and Santu's picture she went directly to Moti and lay her side of the story instead of confronting him directly. Under the circumstances, that she got married, she may have herself felt to be a Bandini in the relationship at these points. Her story is very much similar to that of Santu to save her father's pride she married Shanky. But look at Shanky, he married her only because his true love told him to. He was also bound in this rishto ki bandini. He always had a soft corner for Santu, but if Kaddu was getting insecure of his letters to Santu then he should have stopped writing to her. if he wanted to save his marriage. But because he was a prisoner in that relationship he refused to give all that it would take to save it.
Kaddu on the other hand still wanted to save her love by accepting his blame. She did that only because she loved him more than herself and was truly blinded by her love.

So now the question is, Is it still right for the two to get back inspite of all this? Would Nandini have a better childhood under such bounded parents who still haven't got over their past love? It isn't true that children suffer if they don't live with both their parents. I have friends who have been raised by single parents and yet they are emotionally and psychologically happy and balanced. They just seem to understand relationships much better than we do. And accept the bitter truth of the human personality easily.

Yes it is much better to be raised by single parents than to suffer in a house where Parents don't love each other. Divorce is such a cliche in Indian Society but most parents sadly don't realize it is better for them to separate and face society criticism than to drag their children to the pits of hell. Trust me I speak from experience. My parents are miserable as they come but they refuse to separate because of society so my brother and I pay the ultimate price by watching them tear each other part. Parents first priority should be their kids happiness not who is going to say what outside the family.

Santu should stop her meddling this is between two people. Her mahanta here would only do further damage that poor kid nandini.

Agree, the children face the worse brunt. It is indeed a misfortune that all this happens in the name of social acceptance or fear or societal pressure.

I am all for Kaddu being given a second chance but what I fail to understand is why does it have to be with Shanky. Kaddu does not love Shanky and Shanky does not love Kaddu, not sure if they ever did, their marriage seems to have been a compromise for both of them and unlike DM-Santu, their compromise never turned into love.....just because they had a daughter does not prove they ever loved each other, if they did neither of them would have given up so easily on their marriage, they would have fought tooth and nail to save it which neither of them did. Given that neither of them love each other and their past history, what are the chances of them working it out the second time around when neither of them wants to be with the other in the first place.....neither of them have expressed any interest in being with the other, its DM/Santu who are making that assumption......with DM/Santu interfering, they are once again forcing the two of them on each other and chances are the outcome would be the same.

As for Nandini, why does anyone think that she would be happy with parents who are together but don't love each other and most likely will end up fighting with each other all the time rather than parents who might not be with each other but might have a cordial and civil relationship. Wouldn't Nandini be better off with parents who might not be with each other but manage to get along than parents who are together but constantly fighting?

As for Kaddu, why does she need a man in her life to be happy? I think she needs to grow up on her own and learn to think and live independently rather than depending on someone else for support, both emotional and otherwise, she needs to develop an independent personality of her own rather than being dependent on a husband or father.....it's her dependence that makes her insecure and do bone-headed things like trusting Sandy. It was this that made her run to Sandy when she was insecure about Shanky and when her father wasn't available to provide her support....if she had been self-reliant, she wouldn't have run to Sandy or the next available guy for support and probably made better choices. She needs to become self reliant now and who knows, some other good guy might come into her life who would want to be with her for herself and not because someone convinced him to as would be the case with Shanky and she would be much happier with him.....the guy in her life does not have to be Shanky especially if the relationship is once again foisted on them.
