So at what age did you start learning, how many years have you spent for learning this....

@ anu what dance are you doing?
I started late I was 17 and I learnt it for 7 years but I had gaps.
Master doesn't like to teach a new routine until he thinks you got it right his way.
i did mangalam charam, a pallavi, a moksha, etc. The pallavi was the longest one of all.

My self a Bharatnatyam, Mohiniyattam dancer.I stopped after learning a little bit of Kuchipudi. Kuchipudi is so fast, very tiresome but I love those Krishna stories in it.Kathak-just the basic I know-Never learnt it properly..

Fuzz--What is the usual story in odissi?

well it varies the mangalam charanam is a bumi pranam pays respect to Lord Jagganath but there's one with Lord Ganesha.

the abhinaya ones have stories related to Lord Krishna and Radha.

the pallavi are mostly movements starts slow then build up.

moksha is like the culmination.😊
