I did not like this episode one bit for its terrible piece of direction and for Arjan's acting. RR was extremely good and this show runs only because of him. Look at him single handedly carrying the entire scene on his shoulders with absolutely no help from Arjan.
Ok, i will say Arjan (the actor) is far too young (seniority in his profession) to be able to bring out anger/inebriation/insecurity/ sorrow either one after the other, or intermingled! But by merely contorting his facial features and breathing heavily, he was not able to bring out the anguish that would have been the ideal cause of such an abominable act. And while RR was superlative as DM raged and wept, hit and cursed, Arjan's expression during DM's eruption was zilch/deplorably poor. Somehow the scene did not evoke what it should have except the horror at DM's helpless state and head injury.
Now, my take on what could happen to poor DM?
1. Without RR, Bandini can close shop right away. He carries the whole crap on his broad shoulders, ably supporting the youngsters in all their shenanigans and forced fumblings. DM is here to stay! He will be in the veritable "ab hum kuch nahin keh sakte. Nazuk sthithi hai. Sab upar wale key hath mein hain" state for sometime and then as some people have said may have "short term memory loss ha ha and forget Santu but remember Subhi". Nautanki shuru!
Chal padi Santu ben ki "Tyaag yatra".
2. Arjan - what happened to him? Ofcourse i want him annihilated but only after he is proven "NOT MAHIYAVANSHI BUT WAGHELA".
3. Maulik - may either witness Santu attacking/killing Arjan or may himself maim Arjan and Santu will take the blame. Then the end result of the "tyaag" will be Moti and Maulik in her camp!
Whatever the result of today's gore, there is a lot of impending natak. Those gopikas with faint hearts, bear up, DM is immortal!
