to be honest (i know there are gopikas lurking around but dun be mad) I really dun think Hades (this is what I call DM) deserves Santu. He is just one lucky jerk! coz she is head over heels for him. I find it very unfair coz she is only an object of his affection. He has this image in his mind of what Santu shld be n she is just like a puppet.

Dun like it one bit! I prefer Tarunji or Hiral at least there is some equality there.

You're right about his moochi. I don't want him to stop twirling it anyway 😳

DM looks up and sees her there. 'Aye Santuuuuudi, what's wrong?' Santu looks towards him and shakes her head. She replies nonchalantly 'nothing Malik'.

DM puts down his paper and stretches his legs out on the table. Whilst doing so he asks her again 'then why are you sitting there like that?'

Santo gives him a small smile. 'It's nothing. Bas, there isn't anything to do. All the housework is finished, and no-one else is around. Hiten Bhai has gone to the factory. Maulik has gone to visit Benba. Suraj is asleep. Birwa has gone to visit friends and ba and bapuji are resting. Even Champakali is out somewhere. So I'm sitting here idle'.

DM has a playful smile on his face as he calls her over. Santu walks over to him and DM reaches out and takes her hand. He gently pulls her onto his lap. Santu smiles and nestles herself into his arms. She rests her head on his shoulder and places a hand on his chest.

DM instinctively places a kiss on her head and takes her hand in his own. 'Accha, toh you have no company huh? No problem. You can keep me company while I finish reading the paper. Santu nods her consent.

DM, with one arm around her waist, picks up the paper with his other. He rests his cheek on Santu's head.
