This is my first ektaa serial but it would seem weird for Megs to turn evil. there is no reason for it she has a handsome husband and child. Kaddu and Shanky married per Sudbra and Megs wishes and Santu and DM are close to her. she seems to really love Santu.

Nope, it's def not Megs. She is so kind and she loves Santu totally. She would never purposely deceive Santu with a stupid trick like this.
