Exactly....an 18 year old can and will stay with a 50 year old man, and very happily at that.....thats where this story is going and it's going to show how that happens. I for one am rooting for them. Toral said that because she probably does not know these two very well....after all the people who know them and care about them are all for them staying together because they all realize their happiness lies with each other and then Toral herself along with Hiten is making plans to get them together. I think Hiten-Toral are cute together, especially when they are plotting like this, brings forth the fun-loving side of Hiten which I hadn't seen before Toral made an entry.

Santu needs a makeover now.

I would like to see Santu not cover her head now - she has no reason to. I would like to see her dressed the way she had when she went to the party with Birwa. She can keep the saree pallu in front - gujju style but her hairstyle needs to change and Toral should encourage her to put on some make up.
Basically she should dress up Meghna style - a mix of traditional and modern.

Santu badly need one now.. but i must say she is looking so pretty all these days, especially after the divorce may be trying to win DM's heart😉

I still want her to wear the saree gujju style....goes well with the ambience of the show. But yes, the pallu needs to be done differently - the way she wears it, makes it look like she is wearing a tent. There must be a way to have the pallu, yet not cover herself up like that....and a little bit of make-up during the festive occasion of navratri would be good too. But I agree with Uma, she looks very pretty anyways.

Hiten is a man of principal and character. His father has talked to him man to man. He has said he cannot forget Subhadra and Santu was in fact a "bandini " The best way this noble son called Hiten
can help Santu is not by bringing her back with adolescent plans made by himself and Toral but by ensuring she gets education. He should press for a provision to be made in Santu's name and a small pucca residence. In the meanwhile he should arrange for a governess to come to the Maiyavanshi household for a few hours to educate Santu. That way she will be seen around without losing her selfrespect. Then as time goes by let DM and Santu forge a new and more even based relationship. In the meanwhile Hiten should get Khemi back.It is necessary to to establish that somehow Khemi and Santu are not related.

I like the idea that Santo should get an education....how it comes about, whether through the efforts of Hiten or some other way does not really matter. I definitely don't want the divorce to happen and Santo to move out. I am actually rooting for the entire family to gang up on DM and make him realize his true feelings for Santo because I don't beleive a word he says about never moving on from Subhi....he already has. Just the fact that he put Santo's mangalsutra right next to Subhi's portrait tells me that.....what he said was just lip-service to convince himself more than Hiten why he is going ahead with the divorce.....to add to that the poor guy thinks that it is in Santo's best interests....obviously he has no clue.....thats why he needs his family to drill some sense into him. Obviously he will never forget Subhi and he shouldn't but he does not need to forget Subhi to love Santo....I am sure they can both exist in perfect harmony in his heart. Also, I don't think it will go well with DM's character to forge a relationship with Santo after a divorce, can't see DM doing that, that will be hard to accept.....whatever relationship forges between them has to be while they are bound by matrimony and that is the premise of the show....from "anchaha rishta" to "atoot bandhan".

I also don't like the idea of ruining a relationship between Santo and Khemi to facilitate Hitmi....they have shown a great sisterly bond between the two and I don't want that ruined. And even if they didn't turn out to be related by blood, they have grown up as sisters and will always remain that....and by that relationship, Khemi will always be Hiten's maasi since Hiten considers Santo his mother. Anyways, Khemi's husband is set to make an entry on Monday and for her sake, I hope he is a good guy and keeps her happy....and I definitely don't want another divorce track or a fake marriage track between Khemi and her hubby.

Yes! I thought aasiya looked super cute in the song sequence with Suraj, though that's quite an old school look. I looked at the old episodes and she's a pretty YOUNG thing, but i don't think she can go back to that, she has been married so perhaps a more matuer look.
Agree with you ammoos, the red and pink sari's she wore recently look gorgeous! I didn't like the look she had at birwa's party (i probably have some pavlovian aversion due to puking into the nearest bucket when birwa kissed that dude with the pudding bowl haircut) it was too done up - she looks best in simple colours with her hair open.
Loving the Toral 'Extreme Makeover' suggestion, keep forgetting she's probably younger than Toral!

Bandini is a serious serial about human relationships and the undercurrents that surround them. I would not like to see things which are out of tune with our natural thoughts and expectations. To jeopardise the normal relationship of Khemi and Hiten is unfair to the viewer. To not solve a fake relationship like Santu's and Dm's and give it a stronger base because Santu and Khemi are sisters is putting the serial viewer in a bind. Santu is the Bandini not we the audience Why should we accept this sort of unnatural sequence. A great remedial act has to brought about in the interest of all. To sustain interest the sreial cannot put everything we have been seeing and thinking about on hold. Santu DM on hold Khemi Hiten on hold Toral Pesi Hiten on hold Meghna disaproves so she is also on hold Taru foi silent Kanji on hold Maulik like us wondering but not on hold l.

I don't think DM-Santo's relationship is fake....maybe started out that way but I don't think is now, not where emotions are concerned and anyways, the premise of the show is how this fake, unwanted relationship turns into the real thing i.e. a real and unbreakable bond between the two....the audience tunes in to see how that finally comes about and the creatives can't compromise with the basic theme of the story. As for the "normal" relationship between Hiten and Khemi....never thought and still don't think that it is normal given the relationship between the two and the fact that sooner or later Hiten had to accept Santo as his mother which he did because thats where this story is going ultimately....to show how the entire family accepts and falls in love with Santo. I definitely do not like the idea of breaking up a marriage for anybody's sake.

I read in the article about Khemi's husband that Khemi and her husband are going to live in DM's house, can't understand why? If they are going to live in Dharampur long-term, shouldn't Khemi's husband get his own place and if they are just visiting, shouldn't they live in Nanaji's house. Even in joint families, brothers' families live together and not sisters'. I don't like this BT penchant for having these various families and clans living under the same roof, it's just not normal.

Also, in yesterday's episode DM told Maulik would carry out the family traditions, don't understand why since Hiten is the eldest son and normally he would be the one carrying out the family traditions. Maybe they are just setting it up so that when it is revealed that Maulik is not DM's son, it would be even more hurtful....but still this is not the way to go about it and it ends up looking like a blooper.....creatives should take care with such nuances.
