seriously..i do admire Sanraj..He surely has come a looong way since the wedding. He was just so rude in the beginning, and like Dips said, anyone who has seen him in his initial glory would hate him. But he has come a long way,and i respect him for that.

But he needs to let go of his favorite teddy bear called subadra!!!

Hey Radhika,
I just saw the Shanky Santu scene. That felt really really sad. There was another scene that made my heart cry out for Santu. This was the DM Shanky confrontation about Santu. Shashank was brilliant that day. When that happened, I expected some emotion from DM but then he was so stonefaced that I couldn't believe it. Even that day he was only concerned for Kaddu Shanky. No concern what so ever for Santu. It was only because of her that Shanky agreed to marry Kaddu. Even when he tore the divorce papers, I didn't feel that he was doing it for santu, rather was doing it for himself. If I remember correctly he says "meri do take ki izzat nahi rehati".
Another thing that completly puzzles me is how he fails to give credit to Santu for whatever she has done for the family. I have never seen him appreciating or acknowledging Santu for her contributions. Dm doesn't have to be her "husband" to do that or she doesn't have to be his "wife" for him to do that. He just needs to be human. Another scene that comes instantly to my mind is when Santu and DM are talking about Birwa being sent to Antwerp. He says that he has managed to raise his motherless kids well and that he has gotten Kaddu married and Maulik placed in a job. Come on, kaddu got married because of Santu. Maulik was in a position to handle a job because santu convinced DM to take a solid stand for his addiction.
Even now when he is wanting her to leave, it doesn't seem as though he wants a better life for her. I don't see the slightest remorse in his actions. Shouldn't he talk to Nanaji and explain to him about why they are proceeding with the divorce even though khemi is married to somebody else. Should't he be concerned for Santu's future? Is it not his responsibility to talk to the poor nanaji? All he does is say "ek bandini ko mukt kar rahan hoon"
Oh my goodness, why am I so critical about DM today?
When DM falls in love with Santu, God only knows when that will happen, he is going to have a tough time forgiving himself.
Although I have so many complaints against DM, have to say that RR is just absolutely brilliant as DM. He lives and breathes DM. I have difficulty picturing him as Ronit Roy. RR nowadays sounds strange to me. Excellent job RR.

Thanks Sumi and Radhika. Sometimes I wonder if I am taking bandini too seriously. The emotional content of Bandini is so overwhelming that I am not able to not take it seriously. Also it is very heartening to know that there are people out there that feel the way I do. We have to use another link to post our views. Ok will do that.

Scene of the day will most definately be when Maulik came to know the truth. His expressions were perfect. Not at all overdone but just enough to make us understand what he was actually going through.
