Aasiya is improving... surely.
Santo does not wish to be a maalkin. Please let us be honest in assessing a character. Khemi calls her that, to accuse her of not being sisterly. Nanaji says that she should think like a maalkin. Maalkin here means 'female head of the household' like our mothers are maalkins of our homes. Santo is a very practical woman and does not imagine herself to be maalkin of all in Dharampur. If she did, she would not fear for her sister's future. the sister of the maalkin of Dharampur need not worry about anything. But the sister of Santo, the grand daughter of Madhav Kaka does have to worry. Till now, that is the only identity Santo has had in this show.
Guddi, assessing Aasiya's acting is different from assessing Santo's character.
Hmmm cool.. I will watch it properly now😃 If she's, then that's good⭐️
And abt the characterization, well if I were in Santu's place, I dont think I would have slapped my elder sister, if I were behaving sisterly at that moment.. Khemi was right taunting her throughout.. What Santu told her was right.. Hiten-Khemi relationship is pretty confusing.. But in a fit of anger, I won't have slapped my elder sister, if I were NOT the maalkin..
If the whole thing had been taking place just after Santu's marriage, where she was not accepted by ANYBODY of the M-family, then would she react in the same way she did ?!?! Lecture is diff thingy, making her realize is also nice.. But she was doing that as maalkin, u agree or not..
I felt she was trying to be the maalkin throughout, but aasiya doesnt have that authority.. She is yet to convince me as the Maalkin of M-family.. Though she did convince DM😃
