😊But I respect your views. But I am unclear as to whether the support for Hiten-Khemi here is because the two actors portraying the characters look good together, or because people are rooting for young love, or because people really believe that if there is no 'blood' relationship involved, anyone should be able to marry anyone!
😊rasika besides all 3 reasons which u gave 1.chemistry (look good togather)2. young love 3. no blood relationship😊hiten n khemi stand on their own in this drama.
why shud santu be involved ineach n every pit n fall , rise n swell of serial, hiten n khemi hv their own role n carry drama on their own characters n role play like kadambri meghna ba n lil ones; so story of bandini that is our santu shudn't be tied every knot to other second lead or be mixed with totally diff individual like hiten
every character shud be given a niche to bloom n justify , so far which hiten n khemi r doing well ,why shud anything be forced on anyone rasika 😲if hiten n khemi like each other n even santu acts as mom to hiten , wudn't his happiness with his life partner( deserving one khemi) in this case be curtailed becoz santu happens to be sis of his beloved
since start there wasn't choice of relations here in this bandini , so if there is willingness in 2 adult minds i think that shud be treated maturely n positively by serial waalas, n citing example of unusal relationship well dm laid stone of it now santu shudn't let it happen to hiten n khemi😊
i think she will approve of free will n love between 2 adults which r judged becoz of some twisted relation.
regarding adopted family kids r made clear abt step bro n sis , pls note word bro n sis r always there here step son is cojoined with sis of step mom so again its very different n very acceptable since santu step mom is lot younger to step son.😊
i hope u will take all this in healthy n +ve light⭐️rather than expecting 2 young mature adult minds to curb their heart felt desire on altar of unusal relationship👏

gehna,
thanks for responding.
Correct me if I am wrong because I am not sure I fully understood what you said.
You are asking why Santo should be involved in the life of every character in this serial? I guess because she is the heroine, she is the Bandini. Khemi is not the heroine. Every story needs a main protagonist or protagonists. That's how stories work. There can be stories where there are several characters (like the film Salaam-e-ishq) and no one character is central. But in Bandini, Santo is the central character and her marriage to DM, the main premise on which the whole story is based.
Second, did you say an adopted brother in love with an adopted sister is different from a step-nephew in love with his step-aunt? How? I am not sure I understand. In the case of adoption, a person becomes a 'brother' or 'sister' because the society says that is the case. When Santo married DM, she automatically became Hiten's step-mother na? Which makes Khemi step-aunt. That's what the society says. if adopted siblings cannot marry, how can 'step' relatives marry?
I take everything in positive light. We are not discussing real life people. We are only discussing TV characters. so I am not emotionally involved. I am just trying to understand what the argument is FOR a Hiten-Khemi relationship. I know the argument AGAINST but I am not able to understand the argument FOR.
If everyone has a right to happiness, as you suggest Hiten and Khemi should, where does that leave Santo? Does she not have a right to happiness? Will she be happy if her sister ends up with her step-son, especially with a sister-in-law like Motiben? In stories, there are always winners and losers (as in real life). That's just the way things happen... sincerely my personal point of view. That is all.

I started watching Bandini well after the serial started, so when i first saw Khemi n Hiten, i thought Khemi was Santu's neighbour n that Hiten was just the spoilt kid, having to work in the village. But i loved their chemistry and wen i found out wat they're relationship wud b, i felt really sad about the fact that it really is complicated. 😔

I'm really waiting to c wat happens to them n how their relationship is justified to the rest of the characters in the serial....but to tell u the truth, i really want them to get together, bcoz they seem so uncomfortable n lonely without each other. Wen they r with each other, they r genuinly happy n it looks like they're able to forget about their troubles for a while, which i think is the main basis of love. ❤️

well as i said, there is only one solution right now
khemi will be given gode to parshu kaka so then she becomes parshu kaka's daughter and not madhav solanki's dohitri thus santu can accept har as her bahu,dm as her daughter in law and most importanly hiten as his wife.
in these cases, this is always the only way out so that love is not sacrificed and relations are also not intermingled

TVrasika, you yourself gave a solution to this problem - Meghna and Rasik adopting Khemi. That will solve all problems of twisted relationships because to the society, Khemi is no longer Santo's sister but Meghna's daughter and may be Shashanks' sister by virtue of that. This should not come in the way of her marriage to Hiten.
So one twisted relationship born out of a weird marriage between an 18 year old with a 50 year old can be set right by another twisted relationship born out of adoption. As they say all is fair in love and war. Here these two are in love so why not have revolutionary solutions to their problem?
To those who wonder about relationships let me tell you that to this day there are certain societies where it is OK for the maternal uncle to marry his own niece. Here the relationship is through blood ties. Please note that. Now tell me how the relationship would be between all the parties concerned?
The girl's grand mother till yesterday becomes her mother-in-law. (Nani turns to Saas)
The girl's uncle till yesterday turns into husband
(Maama turns to Pati)
The guy's sister till yesterday turns into his mother-in-law
The guy's niece till yesterday turns into his wife.
The guy's mother till yesterday turns into his grand mom-in-law.
If this weirdest of weird relationship is acceptable by society for ages (irrespective of the medical problems it could cause to the children of such unions) why not Khemi-Hiten's match which is being questioned solely on the basis of a quirk of fate?

👏 OPTI WONDERFUL example u gave for relations going for marriage n up in north too ppl marry cousins like in muslims ( e.g bhappa /aroras n they r hindus n sikhs) n here relation is far fetched like step aunt 😊
😊 santu will be proud to hv khemi as her daughter in law someone so mature docile n deserving , she shud look fro happiness of hiten n her sis n for sure khemi will earn her more respect n affection as both sis r shown very mature n giving😊⭐️ looking forward for creatives presentation ,how this plot will be dealt n potrayed😉
