28th April - Khel Khel Mein...
OMG.. what an episode...This was by far one of the most hilarious episodes i've seen...DM as usual doesn't hear Santo's prayer or he does and doesn't comment on it, and tells Meghna that she's not made up the teams properly.. He tells her that the gotta wear pant shirt while playing... Directs it mostly toward Santo though... but all of them come to play in their normal clothes only, he i was expecting some DM's Daredevils and Rasik's Challengers shirts and outfits and all...The cricket match did not have a verdict coz Captain DM retired hurt.. But the entire match was too good... Santo was Rasik's lucky charm, all but a couple of his teams total was hit by her... Soo adorable she looked, with the topi, sari, gloves... DM ends up underestimating her coz she looks like a lost puppy at the crease... but first ball and she hits a fine shot, but forgets to run.. Rasik gets run out coz of that.. That was a hilarious scene on its own.. DM gets the ball well before Rasik even starts his way back, and calls him to the crease like one does a puppy, saying aaja aaja... Santo is batting and Champakali is at the non strikers end.. DM bowls another slow ball and Santo hits it up, Taru has to catch, everyone is cheering her on... and she misses, and the ball falls outta the boundary line for a SIX... DM is pissed off, asks her shu khelu che??? That was sooooooo DM.. I was half expecting to yell in english, ki wtf taru??? but he dint and that was awesomee... Over up, and change of bowlers and side change for batsmen... Champu goes to bat, Taru comes to bowl.. Taru mutters something evil in her head, while Champu is shaking in her boots, decides not to hit the ball coz she's scared that Taru will hit her with the bat if she does... Champu is clean bowled... Rasik, curses his luck for being given a proper loser team... Bapuji goes to bat next... taru bowls, he hits and takes a run... Taru bowling, Santo batting, Taru runs up, throws the ball and Santo hits it up HIGH.. the ball goes up... up and gets stuck in the tree.. Bapuji and Santo are making the most of it and make a lot of runs, whule maulik and pinu kaka search for the ball.. DM protests that the ball is in the tree and they should not be running.. Baa, who's the umpire, doesn't think so.. DM tries to stop bapuji from running by holding on to his hand but bapuji breaks free and runs... Ball is finally retrieved by maulik.. At the end of this innings, Santo has made 62 runs.. and the rest just a couple of runs.. Now its DM's turn to bat.. DM maulik are opening.. Both of them thrash rasik's bowling... Over up and Santo's turn to bowl..DM's at strike.. She's petrified and the first ball she bowls doesn't even reach the crease.. DM asks her to bowl properly.. Santo says jai khoidiyar ma, runs up to the crease, bowls.. And the ball hits DM in the face... He falls/kneels face down in pain.. everyone surrounds him.. He gets up and goes inside...LOVED the match.. better than any IPL thriller i've ever seen..
Back in his room, DM is searching for medicine.. His eye has swollen up pretty badly... Santo comes in and gives him the medicine.. DM sits down, and tries to put it in, but he cant(a slight case of medicinephobia, our DM has...) Santo offers to do it for him and he's all fussy as she's trying.. She asks him to open his eye.. And holds it open herself, but evenbefore she can put the medicine in his eye, he yells out.. asks her to be careful.. He then takes her hand in his, holds her arm and guides her as she does it.. Or the more romantically inclined, like me, can read it as, holding on to her arm so that he can bear the pain... She does it.. And he's all glad that the hard part is over.. She stands aside and is shedding silent tears.. DM wipes his own tears away(coz of the injury and med) and asks her why she's crying? He tells her to stop crying, else her eyes will swell up and even she'll have to put meds then.. He tells her that such things happen when your playing and gives her his hanky to wipe her tears.. She takes it and Taru barges in(MOODKILLER!!!) and exclaims at the size of DM's eyes.. She starts bad mouthing Santo and DM asks her to let it go... Taru is speechless at this attitude of DM... Mru flat at this scene... It was tooooooo good.. DM is soo like a kid when it comes to meds.. Soo cute he was fussing soo much...
Santo goes to meghna to thank her for all she's done.. Champu is there as well.. Rasik comes in and tells them that their tickets are booked.. Santo asks why tickets?? Meghna tells her that they're leaving, that there is a whole load of work to be done before the wedding and they have to get back as well.. They leave to go tell DM... Champakali asks Santo to stop them, otherwise, her life will become living hell again.. Back to the old clothes and Taru's torture.. Santo tells that she never expected all this in the first place.. It was like a dream, which she lived..
The preview has me worried.. But not that worried also.. M sure, DM will put an end to Taru's evil schemes...
