In Bandini, when the first time DM gripped Santo's arm so hard that it hurt her and left a mark, he felt bad later .. he regretted it ...he does not like her being in physical hardships caused directly by him and also he does not seem to lust for her just because she is a young girl ...

They are discovering each other as individuals .. Santo is like an open book for DM but Santo will take time to work through the facades and masks DM has put on himself because of passing time ..

Bandini for sure has a tasteful, mature subject matter. i also agree that neither DM nor Santo were intending marry each other. DM was the one who was completely again the marriage. He is not lusting after her either. He could have rightfully have comsumate the marrige regardless of the wish or feelings of Santo. HIs character is above the normal man and good human being. He is not physical,sexual or verbally abusive to her. He has his mood swings , his likes and dislikes. He is perticular about his family and his belongings. Then again who is not in to their own routine. evantually they both will come to terms with their fate and fall in love and have mutual understanding of the relationship.
what i am saying that i do agree that can not compare dm to old perverted buddas marring young girls for their sexual satisfaction. Who are buying young girls because it is cheaper than getting a naukrani+ free sex for life is wrong. India is not the only country it goes on in. This is supply and demand all over the world. in the west it is different . Girls do have 50% of the share in what they are doing more or less. There is more help from the law if any thing goes wrong. Most of them do it for the money that the girls gain or the comfort of the life that young man can not provide.
the theam of the serial older guy marring a young girl is a paralell, so most of us tend to compare.The fact is that we all know that it is not the same situation. I love my DM dearly and whole heartedly.

Initially, I had a BAD feeling (just when Bandini started) , that DM and Santo would consummate just for the heck of it and regret it later.. but I am SO happy with the way things have turned out .. unlike the Balika Vadhu track where the buddha forcibly consummated their marriage against his young bride's wishes!

I vote for DM and Santo having a proper suhaag raat to celebrate their first wedding anniversary! What say, people? Can they wait for a year?😉

I can not seem to picture the scene. Santo so far is so scared of DM that i can not picture her getting wooed by him. Every look and sight of him my knees are getting weak and Santo is is shaking like a leaf. I guess in time her strong knees will get weak too. May be it is an old age knee problem with me........🤣 then again looking at that handsome my hormones also rush through my veins.😍

What Santo is going thru is a mixture of both emotions -fear and immense attraction ... she SO wants to go hug him when she sees him but that stern expression and his iron grip reminds him that he is still a beast she is YET to tame
