I think from today's episode it is obvious that Ba and Bapuji love DM the son in law, not DM the man. What was all that about Subhadhra being replaced, WTH she is dead so they expect him to be lonely for the rest of his life. I know DM is stubborn and set in his love for his dead wife, but if they were really his parents they could clearly see that how much he has changed, he is arrogant, selfish, a tyrant and a workaholic. Maybe they should consider that a girl like Santu could bring some happiness and perspective in DM's life, wouldnt that what Subhadhra would want too.
Ba and Bapuji should seriously get a reality check and watch Hum Apke Hain Kuon, and learn what it is truly to love their Son In Law.

🤣 Watch Hum Aapke hai Kaun...good one Mara!!
you are right, Ba and Bapuji, should really take a chill pill, especially ba, i mean if they would have loved DM the man they would have been happy and finally felt a sense of relief that someone will take care of DM, makes sure he takes his medications on time. Ba and Bapuji are not gonna be there forever to take care of him are they 🤔 I don't think so. Ba is being selfish. It's not like he has moved on emotionally, if people like Ba are around him DM will always feel guilty of falling in love with Santo, despite the fact that she is now his wife.

From the acting and emotional depth of it, this was definitely the Scene of the Day. Both RR and the actress playing the role of Ba were fabulous.

Having said that, I was really disappointed in what Ba said. It did come across as she loved DM the son-in-law rather than the DM the person, the indivudual. The scene starts with DM telling her that Guruji had explained the facts and events to them. Inspite of that she went on to blame DM for giving her daughter's place in his heart to someone else. DM had to give quite a bit of explanation and justification from his end.

It looks like Ba herself has not been able to move on after her daughter's death and that is understandable. And she also wants DM to mourn for the rest of his life. If Ba loved DM the man and really considered him a son she would have been upset with him for taking such a big step and not informing them as soon as they arrived. She should have been upset with him over the fact that he shipped Santu off to Surat so that no one in the family would know about what he had done. Instead she sent him on a 'betraying Subhadra's atma' guilt trip.

Very true soap critic. What is with the guilt trip? That was soooo selfish. I wish Ekta didn't do that to her character, she seemed so lovely now she is just some old mourning mother who cant think past her selfish feelings.

Hold on guys!
We're jumping the trigger a little too quickly .. well , frankly, the stuff that she said really did not make me sad because she needed to get that out of her system .. well tht is wht I felt .. she took him on the guilt trip this once, i dont think she'll do it again ..

Ummm...I wont call Baa n Bapuji selfish...They saw DM's love for Subhadra, and they know that DM can't love anyone else....And if suddenly he marries someone else and introduces her to his in-laws, who live in his house, they may feel insecured as well...if he can betray Subhadra ( tht's wht they think), he can do the same with them too....and no parent of this world would like that idea that their son-in-law forgot their dead daughter...and now all set to marry again...it takes time...and for Baa n Bapuji also, it will work....that was very natural of them to react like tht...the characters are very real indeed...

OK, SUKS teri leya I shall give Baa (Maa) another chance. I felt too that she was seeing DM as a son-in-law yesterday and that hurt a lot. Especially when DM loves her more them his own mom. A maa would want only happiness for her child and that too uncondionally (I know that this doesn't happen in serials). After the death of Subhadra DM has turned into a Tyrant - arrogant, workaholic, ruthless..........a Maa would want him to becoame humane, infact human gain. The guilt trip was on in full force yesterday.

I thought about it again as I watched the repeat telecast and it struck me that the reason why she behaved like that was because what DM and Maa share is a very unconventional relationship .. there are hardly such men who will do what DM did for their in-laws.. maybe with him remarrying, they thought they had no right/authority to live in the house anymore!
