I might be going off-topic, but had to put in something!

In the preview for Monday, they show DM and Pinakin talking in his study, where DM is sipping tea from the saucer (and making a typically desi style look so cool!) and when Pinakin addresss him, DM replied back, 'Bol Bayla'. (RR's baritone just lifts the dialouge so much!)

Now I have very little idea about Gujrati, but honest to goodness, never thought that the langauge sounded so...sexy!😳 (I was thinking of some other appropriate word, couldn't find a better one than this!)

All I have heard before is Daksha Kaki's version on KSBKBT which made it very comical, or some of it on Baa Bahu aur Baby...but it is only in Bandini, that Gujrati sounds so amazing! Especially, when DM says something in it...

Kudos to the writing team for presenting a vernacular language in its true form so wonderfully! I hope to hear a lot of conversation beween DM and Chokri liberally interspersed with Gujrati words and slangs!

Actually, if he starts calling her, in any which way, even that would be an adjustment for him...😆
Abhi toh, he hasn't even seen her face and I am sure, he doesn't even know her first name, apart from the fact that she is one of Madhav Solanki's dohitri!

True Soapie. I speak gujju all the time but coming from DM is just has this sexiness to it. I am totally loving it.

A little correction. It's not Bol Bayla, it's Bol Bhayla. HEHE....Bayla means gay! Bhayla means brother.

😆😆😆 Lolz...thanks for correcting it, Mombs. I was thinking of using my new found vocab on someone...a guy that too...mushkil ho jaati!
DM's 'Kem Che' also sounds 😳😳😳
Living in Ahmedabad has obviously honed RR's language skills in Gujrati and he speaks as if it was his first language!

OMG! Glad we corrected it before you used it. That would have been quite embarrassing. Although, I am sure the person would have understood your new found love of the language and peeled in laughter!

Yes, RR confirmed that he pretty much knows the language.

"From flop Bollywood actor to small-screen superstar..."

Sheeshhhhhhhh...................these journos can earn a living asking the same old K***question repeatedly 🤢? We know about his past. He talked about it extensively himself, so why like a braindead moron bring up the same question again? Sometimes there is just no accounting for brains 🤢.

Thanks Suks for the ariticle.

Thank God RR clarified the age issue... that makes him 36-40.. And if he got married to swargwasi Kohinoor at the age of 27, its highly unlikely he has kids the age of santu... That is if Ekta follows the math...

Sukhi,
I had started watching KZK, but the chap who played Anurag Basu irritated the life out of me...and since I had no clue that another lead would be introduced, I decided that I did not want to watch a serial with a wimpy hero as the lead, so gave it up! Did hear a lot of stuff about Mr. Bajaj when his character was introduced (My mom had a thing about him...😆) but had given up on the show, hence never saw him!
Well, as you say, there is a first to everything...

PS: Used to watch KS regularly, but once again, stopped watching it by the time his character was introduced...

LOL you have been tad unfortunate .. that you had to encounter THE Anurag Basu .. I am yet to come across a more effeminate lead !!

Wow, kya pic hai! 😳

Looking forward to DM adjusting to Santo. Much of a change from old style sagas. Unique show indeed. This is going to be a totally rocking show.

Suks, the gold thing you mention is actually part of the buttons for the Kurta. Aren't these typical Indian thing as opposed to just a gujju thing? I don't know if it has a name but these Kurtas have button holes on both sides. You buy buttons per your taste. Kind of like cuff links however, in this case the buttons (usually 3, 4 or 5) are linked together by a chain. The button is brought through the button hole and the chain remains in the back. In his pic here, since it's not buttoned up to the other side, it is falling over nicely exposing the chained link in the back. His buttons look to be diamonds or pearls.

I know that its a part of a kurta and not really a Gujju thing .. I just wanted to know the name for it .. rest assured, Ronit always carries off these 'Indian' things with great aplomb .. making it all the more desirable.. who would have thought that he'd make a dhoti-clad man look so amazingly sexciii?😳😳
