Episode 164

My God, Spain given such a build up to this episode and I am supposed to clarify things with my update. But at the end, I am as confused as anyone else!

Highlights of todays episode

Starts with yesterday's last scene. Nithila II (hopefuly) in the temple and only her trade mark symbold shown here--2 rings and a oversized watch that she is wearing. She asks for archanai to be done for thamirabharani and nothing more of this scene.

Now in Selva's house. Nithila sitting in the bed and Selva comes and asks whether you have had anything to eat. She keeps silent to whatever Selva is telling. He says at least talk something but if you keep silent what I will do, he asks. Selva says even if you are angry with me don't try to torture yourself by not eating. Now he goes to the kitchen and gets 2 apples and comes to the room and starts cutting. He tells her that she can at least eat these apples but still no response from Nithila.

When Selva is cutting the apples, Shanta calls out for him and suddenly Selva cuts his hand and blood is flowing. But Nithila pays no heed and he tells her to take the apples and goes to the hall.

When Selva leaves, she just shows a disdainful face.

Shanta looks at Selva's finger and asks what happened and when Selva explains, he asks him to be more careful.He tells him that we need to put up that tender today and Mother and myself can't figure out how much exactly to quote. He asks selva to start immediately.

Now Selva in his office. Someone knocks at the door and wants to come in. A smiling Nithila comes in and needless to say,Selva is stunned. She asks whether she can come inside and Selva stammers a welcome and she sits on his table near to him and sweet smiles at him. Selva is still in a shell-shocked mood and she says she knows that he might be in a disturbed mood and hence she came to improve his mood so that he can do his office work with peace of mind.

He asks so you came to make sure I am not disturbed in the office work? Nithila says it is like that and also I want you to forget about whatever has happened so far. She says she has forgotten that.

He says he is so relieved and then shows her the quotation that he has prepared. She just takes a glance and gives it back saying what she can understand in this and then says smilingly that she is leaving. Selva asks whether she can stay for some more time but she lovingly strokes his hair and says if she is here, he can't get any work done and so she will rather leave.

She leaves and Selva is still in a trance.

Now Selva comes back home and has the usual tricks --mallipoo+ halwa.He smiles the mallipooo and gets into the mood and presses the bell. She opens the door smiling and he shows he the mallipoo and halwa and says he has brought only for hr. He tells her to wear the flowers but she asks him to put it himself which he does . He comes near her and smells the mallipoo on her hair.

Now she is still shy and says she will go inside and make food ready. But Selva holds her hands and tells," I never knew that this much vekkam is in you...I feel like telling you a kavithai...

naan ethai kattaalum vetkkathai tharugiraai
antha vetkkathaiyeh keetal enna tharuvaai..."

At this point, Selva's dream stops and he sees the mallipoo/halwa on the floor. He takes it and again presses the bell, no repsponse and goes inside and finds her sleeping. He keeps the 2 items on her bed and goes to sleep.

In the morning, he awakens and finds that the items are still on the bed only and he searches for her and can't find her.

Meanwhile Shanta comes there and is surprised to see him not yet dressed. He says today is the tender opening day and we need to be there at that time.Selva says he is looking for Nithila and Shanta says he saw her going to temple a little while before. Selva now gets dressed and leaves with Shanta.

Next scene shows Nithila II again in action this time getting down from a car wearing jeans and with 2 rings and that big watch. She goes to the office of lawyer Prabhakar and gives him a bundle of currency and tells him to arrange for Thamirabharani's appeal in the court.

Prabahakar is surprised but takes the cash.

Still her face is not shown and that was the last scene.

So if the Nithila in the office is really Nithila II, then how she knows all of Selva's marital problems?
But that scene is definitely to find out Selva's tender quote--that is for sure!

Ha ha, so at last Nithila II is revealed fully and confirmed what was concluded in the brainstorming discussions in this section yesterday--Anyway, the director has brought fresh life into this serial,no doubt about it!

Starts with the tenders about to be opened in the govt office and Adhi,Shanta,Selva all come inside and wait for th proceedings to start. The officials there get up when Adhi comes and give her special respect.

One official asks the other where is that person , he has still not yet come. Now Adhi gets restless and tells Shanta to ask why tenders not yet opened. Shanta also asks and the official says we are waiting for one more person to come. Selva says it is now 10 am and you are supposed to open the tenders at this time. The official says as per this office time, still we have 1 minute to go to 10 am and so let us wait.

A driver comes and announces the arrival of his boss. Now the boss turns out to be a dhoti clad oldish looking guy who comes in and sits next to Adhi much to her disgust.

The tenders are opened and the bids start at 13 crores and Adhi and Shanta are happy and she says no one can come near our bid because they can't make profits if they bid so much. Now one by one bid is opened and are around 15-17 crores. Ganapathy granites is opened and it is 22 crores 45 lakhs. All congratulate Adhi and many leave the place. Some people come and tell Adhi that no one can quote the price which you are quoting. Adhi is very happy and the new guy watches all this with a wry smile.

The official says we have 2 more bids left and opens one bid and says it is 17 crores and now comes to the last bid which is from TT Granites and the bid amount is 22 crores 45 lakhs and 100 rupees. Adhi is flabbergasted and the new guy (his name is revealed now --Natraj) is congratulated by the offiials and now it is announced that the contract is given to TT Granites.

Adhi feeling humiliated leaves the place with her sons.

Adhi stands near her car in the Quarry office and talks angrily to her sons. She says how they can quote at 100 Rs higher--it is definitely the workm of some blacksheep in our company. This is the 1st time that I have lost a quarry contract and it si such a shameful thing. Selva also says definitely it is someone's trick because 100 Rs margin in a 22 crores bid is simply not possible.Adhi says I have dso many meetings in the Association also I have not heard this company so far. And who is this TT Granites, we need to probe into this --how they came her so suddenly.I am going to raise this matter in the association because no one can bid for a major contract without being a member there. This way, we can disqualify their bid,she says hopefully.

But her hopes are dashed when Natraj comes there and says Madam, you can't do anything because we anticipated this and hence we registered this company in the association only 10 days back. He says if you want to find out about our company, you are invited to our company. In fact our madam has told me to call you to our company. Adhi refuses to go first and says why should I go there, let people come and see me if they want. Her sons also support her. Natraj says no problem, his job is only tom convey the invitation and if you are not coming, I will tell my boss . Now Adhi changes her mind and says she will come and she says she will see who is that person who dared to defeat me. Her sons say don't go but she insists and tells them to come with her.

Adhi in TT granites office and Natraj tells her to sit in the sofa for a few minutes and his boss will come shortly.Adhi of course gets into a rage saying tell your boss to come immediately. She says Adhi will not wait for anybody and keeps standing.

Natraj goes to his boss's cabin and again the 2 rings and the big watch and her secretary is there. Natraj tells that Adhilakshmi has come and the secretary is signalled to go away. The secretary comes out and tells Adhi that she has to wait. Adhi again gets angry and asks who is the boss. She says her boss name is Jeeva. Adhi starts shouting Jeeva,jeeva come here or I will come to your office.

Now Jeeva comes out wearing bell bottom jeans with a floral yellow shirt having big earrings and with her hair pulled back so much that forehead looks huge. Needless to say, Adhi and her sons are just stunned.

Adhi stammers "nithila" but Jeeva just gives a nakkal glance at Natraj and says Jeeva. She says I am Jeeva and I have won this contract and from now onwards, defeating you is my main motto.

She says really speaking I should say sorry to Selva only because I came to Selva's office as his wife Nithila. She further says, see I came to know that I have good resemblance with Nithila and also Selva and Nithila have marital discords and so decided to come there as Nithila and managed to get the tender quote stealthily,she says.Selva is shocked.

Adhi glares at Selva and Jeeva continues that her main motto in life is to go on defeating Adhi in everything. Adhi growls at her saying do you know what my name means --it is Adhi that is the start of everything in life.. Jeecva replies that yes she knows that Adhi is full of fraud and deceit.

She comes very near Adhi and says she has researched everything about Adhi and knows that Adhi is even capable of murder. Adhi is shocked and she is next seen in her house.

Adhi in her house and is sitting in the sofa brooding and Sundara asks what happened. Adhi shouts at him saying now ask what happened. We have lost out such a major contract to this TT granites over just one hundred rupees.

Shanta also is worried that we have already made a contract with a fioreign buyer thinking we will get this contract and now what we will do, he wonders.

Now Jeeva comes to Adhi's house with Natraj, looks at the building (I thought she might look at the building nostalgically but director does not give away such clues so easily!)

She walks into the living room and Adhi and her sons are horrified, Sundara is shocked to see Jeeva.

Jeeva comes near Adhi and drops a paper in the table (blank cheque? not sure) and signals Adhi to get up from the sofa and then sits in the adjacent sofa cross legged ( just like Ramya krishnan in Padayappa!)

That was all of jeeva today and she was trying her best to speak with an anglicised accent o as to sound a little different!

Another fantastic episode clearing the confusions about 1 nithila or 2 nithila and also jeeva really gets so Adhi worried that she starts asking ideas from her "manasatchi"!

Starts with yesterday's last scene when Jeeva enters triumphantly in Adhi's house. She signals Adhi to get up from the sofa and then sits cross legged in another sofa like Ramya krishnan in Padayappa.
Adhi though she got up from the sofa is astonished and says the usual high pitch"ey" .

But Jeeva tells the same thing back and tells her not to shout and to speak in a peaceful way. Adhi says who are you to come here and talk to me like that.What right have you got to talk like that,she asks.

Jeeva now gets up and calling the other guy as "baba" takes the cheques from him and keeps it on the table. She tells Adhi that she has every right to talk like that because she is the varisu of this house.

She tells Adhi that this house was built by Thillainathan and Thamirabharani and you all have stayed in this house for enough time and now just fill up whatever amount you want in this cheque and leave this house this instant itself.
Adhi is at the height of anger now and asks again who are you to tell me to leave.

Jeeva says she is jeeva, the daughter of Thillainathan and thamirabharani. Adhi says oh, you are telling like this --I will just expose what you really are in just a second and then leaves the room.

Now in the outhouse, Selva is talking something to Nithila and she keeps saying she will not do it and before their talk becomes clear to us, Adhi rushes in and drags Nithila to her house.

Now nithila comes into Adhi's house and Jeeva seeing her becomes very happy and comes near her. Adhi says this is Nithila the true varisu of Thillai and Thamira. She tells Jeeva that you are exposed now.

But jeeva calls nithila as akka and speaks to her affectionately and says she was longing to see her for a long time. Adhi asks what akka you are talking--thamira had only one child.

Jeeva says her mother was carrying her when she was in jail and surely Sundara uncle will be knowing about it. he turns to Sundara uncle and asks whether or not this true. Sundara agrees and says when Thamira handed over Nithila to me, she was pregnant at that time.
Jeeva says she was born in the jail and she is the younger sister of nithila. She tells nithila that she was yearning to meet her elder sister for so many years and now that it has succeeded, she is very happy. But Nithila takes away the hand that jeeva offers and jeeva says this Adhilakshmi is the person who has caused the suffering to our family and has our father's death. (she does not directly tell that adhi has murdered thillai)

She tells don't believe this woman at all and our mother is really paavam. Hearing that word about her mother, Nithila gets angry and says she does not know what to say but surely her mother was not a good person at all and says I have seen video of her killing my father. What else is required,she asks. Jeeva says don't believe simply what you see, better think and decide.

She says God made you and me almost exactly look alike and I am telling you as the younger sister, please believe what I am telling. Nithila says may be because our features are tallying, our mother might be the same but what is the guarantee about our father considering that he is not here now to confirm it.
Jeeva gets angry and says don't tell words that you will regret later. She says she will prove about that video evidence to be false and will make the true culprit accept the crime from his mouth.

Now she leaves with her baba.
When they leave the room, again Adhi stops them with a big "ey" sound. Adhi comes and throws the cheque in front of them and says take this and leave.

Baba just takes the cheque and both Baba and jeeva exchange a big smile and leave which further annoys Adhi.

Now Adhi in her room and having an interesting conversation with Adhi II (serial123 madam, please don't start worrying again whether 1 adhi or 2 adhis--this is only adhi's conscience talking to her!)

Adhi II is wiser and tells Adhi I that you are really worried about jeeva because she is having enough and more money. Adhi I agrees and asks how to tackle this jeeva. Adhi II says the main weapon for this ought to be Nithila because jeeva is very affectionate with her sister and so if you keep very close proximity to Nithila, she will hesitate to harm you. And also at a suitable time and opportunity, we can get rid of jeeva. Adhi I is very happy and says thanks to Adhi II and now goes to implement the idea right away.

In her house, Nithila is in front of her father's photo and says we have enough problems and what is this new confusion and you only can guide me what to think about this.
Adhi rushes in now and tells her that she wants nithila to stay with her only. When nithila says no to her proposal, she floors her by saying this is your house only and I am just giving you back the house that your father built . She says she wants Nithila to be with her always. She says she knows that nithila is hesitating because she was angry with her during the wedding but that was because I was more angry with selva rather than with you,she says now.
Nithila now hesitates and Adhi takes her by hand and starts dragging her gleefully to her home.

After all the excitement in the last 3 days, it is a little cooling down now but overall it was still quite interesting today with enough pointers that the road ahead is going to be tough for Adhi!

Starts with Adhi telling Nithila that this jeeva is trying to frame me on something or other and to meet that objective, she might try to harm you also as you are close to me. Hence it is better that you stay with me.

So saying she takes Nithila's hand and starts taking her to her to her home. Before leaving Nithila's home, she sees Thillainathan' s framed photo with a garland. Now she makes a uruk uruk statement to Nithila that all other things can be transported by the servants but this photo ought be really in our pooja room. So saying, she takes the photo and looking at it with very fond eyes, wipes the dust with her saree. Obviously Nithila falls for the trick and becomes very emotional.

Sundara thinking about what happened tells selva that Thamira was pregnant when she was in Andaman jail but what is the guarantee that jeeva is really Thamira's daughter. Selva says the very fact that jeeva resembles Nithila itself should be sufficient for you. Otherwise you should really ask Thamira directly or make a trip to Andaman jail and find out. Looking at sundara's hesitation, Selva says you know that going to Andaman is not so easily possible and so accept that Jeeva is Nithila's younger sister.

Now the talk comes about sundara's role in Selva's marriage with Nithila and Sundara says he was ready to even sacrifice his life to get selva and nithila together and definitely things will improve and nithila will understand you. Selva tells his father not to worry and says he fully understands and appreciates what his father is doing for him.

Jeeva comes to jail to see her mother. (We have to assume that Thamira has already met jeeva before today's meeting) Jeeva ask Thamira how is she. Thamira however tells jeeva that she should be rather careful after winning over Adhi like this (referring to the tender). Jeeva now says I even went to our house and saw Adhilakshmi there. Thamira is horrified and asks you went to adhi's house? Jeeva says tell that it is our house ma--adhi is only staying there temporarily. She says she gave a blank cheque to Adhi for filling up so that she can put the amount and eave the house. She says she even saw Nithila but she is under the spell of Adhilakshmi and hence she still thinks that you are the culprit,she tells Thamira.

But Thamira says Nithila one day or other will realise what is the truth and now even if she talks in a bad way, stilll Thamira says she does not have any bad feelings towards her and she wishes her well. Jeeva says that is just because of thai paasam that you are telling and she further says she has given the money to Lawyer prabhakar to file the appeal in High court and very soon we will be able to defeat all of Adhilakshmi's manipulations and then me, you and Nithila will all be able to live in our own house happily.

Natraj in the office of the granite exporters who made the agreement with Adhi's company few days back. He introduces himself and says Adhi's company can't deliver to you as promised because the quarry tender which they were hoping to get, instead has been won by our company, TT granites, he says.

The export guys are surprised and Natraj says even now I don't say it is impossible for Adhi's company to deliver the material that you wanted but it will be very difficult. And he offers that his company can supply whatever required by them at the right price with the best quality.
He leaves now and the partners tell themselves that we better find out more about this TT granites company.

Adhi storms into the exporter's office with Shanta
( who just stand like a dummy) and asks them how dare you have canceled our contract. The exporters say that they came to know that you have lost the quarry tender and surely it will be very difficult for you to supply the items that we wanted. Adhi asks how you came to know that we did not get the quarry tender. They reply that there is no need for us to disclose how we came to know that. Adhi says even if she lost that tender, still she can get from market or from other means whatever required and she is even prepared to buy at a higher price even so that the deal can be maintained. But they reply that they are exporting to international markets and any delay or bad quality will have heavy penalties and hence they don't want this deal.

Adhi threatens them that she will go to court about this matter. The exporters say there is a specific clause in our agreement that if due to any reason, if one party feels that other party can't fulfill the terms, then the contract can be canceled by that party. The export guy also says that we proposed this agreement with you only because of good reputation in the granite industry about Selva and now with the way you are talking, we will never have any relations with your company, he affirms.

Adhi leaves after threatening them she will see how they can do business in granite field . When she leaves, the partners think what sort of a bayangara lady is this that we were about to do business.

Nitila is reading a book in the bedroom.Sleva comes thereand stares at her. Then he takes a pillow and a sheet and gets ready to sleep on the floor.He repeatedly tells that " itis ok...naaneh will sleep on the floor" Nithila simply mulichufies....as if she feels guilty about it...

Last scene comes up. Nithila in temple and after praying comes out. Meanwhile, Jeeva comes into the temple and on seeing Nithila smiles at her but Nithila looks at Jeeva and it is freeze.

Again lots of new ideas and Jeeva is showing her finesse in perfecting the art of masquerading like nithila . We might at a later stage even see Nithila proxying as jeeva--don't rule out such possibilities!

Nithila coming out of the temple, sees jeeva coming inside. Jeeva smiles at her but nithila shows contempt. Jeeva asks her how are you but on getting no response from nithila asks her why akka you are behaving like this .
Nithila says stop calling me akka. I am ashamed that you have deceived selva by behaving like me and then cheating adhi athai for that tender. Nithila says she has great regard for adhi and she is very upset with jeeva for behaving like that.
Jeeva says first of all adhi is not like a tyagi paramatma that we should not cheat her. Adhi is getting what she sowed. Jeeva says you have been mesmerised by adhi and when you come to know about her , you will realise about our thamira mother also.
Nithila says she knows very well what thamirabharani has done and again tells about thamira killing their father. Jeeva gets angry and threatens nithila if she keeps up such talk. Nithila dares jeeva by saying what you will do then if I say like that.
Nithila also tells jeeva that she might do unspecified things if jeeva continues to trouble adhi.Jeeva tells her to understand that adhi is using her as a pawn in her war aginst thamira. But nithila is in no mood to listen and walks away.

Jeeva sees Lawyer prabhakar and asks him how they can retrieve their old house which she says her father pledged to adhi for a loan amount . Prabhakar asks for the documents and she says she has nothing with her. He says without documents, we can't do anything. Of course, we can issue anotice to them but we can't carry it far because we need some documents to prove the case.
Jeeva says she will ask her mother and will get the documents. ( I feel she might even make some duplicate dioc's to put adhi off at least for some time till she can get the real ones!)

Jeevs is shown getting ready and wearing the saree and now she takes a new thaali and her change is complete. She calls for Baba and asks him how is the new girl? Natraj compliments her and wishes best luck to "nithila" as he laughingly calls her now.

Shanta sees lalitha suddenly laughing aloud and asks her the reason. She says I can't stop laughing when I think about your mother. Shanta gets irritated and tells her don't talk ike that about mother. Lalitha says she has to laugh because of the way his mother has treated selva and nithila. At one point she was so angry and threw them out but now just because of this jeeva, she got so frightened that she brought back both of them to our house itself and the funniest thing is that she had to literally drag a reluctant nithila to come here in this house. She asks why you can't understand this matter?
Shanta is of course the prime contender for the maanga madaiyan of the highest order and so does not accept her talk at all and says for him, mother is everything to him and he says he does not like her talking like this. He says his mother is very brave and tells her that he is in bad mood because of her talk and tells her to go and sleep.
Lalitha is surprised at his talk.

Natraj and jeeva (dressed as nithila) come to temple and see nithila also in temple. Now starts a very curious drama. Nithila does archanai first and there is a old man seen standing next to her. Now after the archanai is over, nithila goes to other praharangal and the old man follows her with Natraj/jeeva waiting anxiously.
At some point, jeeva gets impatient but Natraj tells her to wait. Now we see the old man giving a thumbs up signal to the duo in the car .

Now the action starts and the old man in full view of nithila just faints in front of her . She helps him to recover and he says he has low BP and aks her to help him in going to his house.
She takes him out from the temple and Natraj/hjeeva are happy.Now Nithila takes the old man to his house in an auto and there, he insists on her coming inside also.
She is reluctant but goes in any way. Now he starts wasting her time by asking her to earch for his medicines. It is not on the table where he says it might be there and nithila starts searching. He says search in the almirah and she opens the almirah. The old man gives a big grin and the next scene is in adhi's house.

Jeeva now proxying as Nithila tiptoes into adhi's house carrying the temple archanai prasaadham and sees lalitha sitting in the sofa. Lalitha calls her nithila and speaks to her.
Now jeeva tries to go inside but lalitha again looks at her suspiciously and starts to say something.

(Obviously the sarees of nithila/jeeva are different and lalitha has noticed that!)

Very interesting today with lots of cat and mouse games and jeeva wins this round! Preethi's acting is very good--really top class-- managing the double role with ease!

When the old man manages to take Nithila with him from the temple, Jeeva/Natraj duo are pleased and tell themselves that the old man is working very well for the money that we are paying him.
Now Jeeva comes into Adhi's house and Lalitha calls he rNithi and asks her whether you are coming from the temple. She nods and goes ahead when Lalitha stops her again and says there is some change in you now--she says you were wearing a different saree earlier and now after coming from the temple, how come you are wearing this saree, she asks..
Jeeva is puzzled what to say and finally says just before leaving for the temple, I decided to change my saree and hence I came back in and wore this saree. Now Jeeva offers her prasadham and asks for adhi. Lalitha says she has gone out and you can leave her prasadham in her room.
Jeeva now goes in the wrong direction and again gets stopped by Lalitha who asks why you are going in that way. Now jeeva turns back and says she got confused and then goes to adhi's room.
Meanwhile, the old man is doing his job by delaying nithila. He asks her to search for the medicines and when she can't find it, he gives the medicine prescription and requests her to buy the medicines from pharmacy. Nithila asks how you are managing alone like this without anyone for help and then she goes to buy the medicines.

Meanwhile Jeeva starts her search for the documents in adhi's room. Now we see adhi coming driving into the house. She gets some business calls and is delayed. Jeeva is frantically searching all the cupboards and finally manages to get the documents.
By the time she comes to the hall with the doc's, Adhi enters the hall. She sees jeeva but gets a call again and starts speaking. Jeeva runs and hides the doc's in a newspaper.
Now adhi finishes her call and speaks fondly to jeeva who tells her that the prasadham is in her room. Adhi goes to take the prasadham when jeeva grabs the chance and tries to escape with the newspaper.
But Adhi sees her again and asks her where she is going. Jeeva says she wants to read the newspaper calmly and hence is going out. Adhi tells her to read the paper inside as it is very hot.
Jeeva goes upstairs to nithila's room now. Meanwhile nithila buys the medicines and gives to the old man and leaves his house. Now the old man does a hi tech thing--he sends a sms to jeeva that nithila has left the house.
Jeeva gets alerted and wants to go out but adhi is waiting for a business call and stays put in the hall near the telephone. Now she gets the call and leaves the house and jeeva wants to go out again when lalitha stops her and asks for the newspaper but jeeva says it is just an old paper . Again jeeva has to go upstairs.
After she goes up, nithila comes into the house.
Lalitha sees her at the door and is shocked and asks her from where you are coming. Nithila says from temple, where else she asks in surprise. Lalitha asks you just came from temple with another saree and now how come you are in this saree. Nithila is puzzled and asks her what you are talking.
She then goes upstairs and lalitha now thinks and realises what must have happened and decides that we have to save jeeva and runs upstairs and finds only nithila there.
Nithila is surprised to see her and asks her what she wants here. Lalitha starts to search around here and there much to the surprise of nithila and then searches in the next room where she sees a rope made of bedsheets hanging down the window and jeeva hurriedly running away. Lalitha heaves a sigh of relief and says to herself that this jeeva is certainly clever. She now comes back to nithila's room and says she was looking for Selva and Nithila says in an exasperated tone that selva obviously is in office.
Now lalitha agrees and comes downstairs again to her room.

Now Lalitha is in her room and starts talking to herself. Why jeeva was here and what she wanted, did she get what she wanted etc etc.
Shanta comes in and sees her talking to herself and gets worried and asks her what happened . Who came and why you are talking like this. Lalitha again asks to herself why she came and what she wanted here. Shanta gets worried and the maanga madaiyan of the 1st degree immediately brings vibhoodhi from swamy room and prays "kaaka kaaka"and pastes the vibhoodhi on her forehead,
Lalitha gets angry and tells him don't behave like a mad man and goes away. Shanta is still scared and applies the vibhoodhi on his forehead now!--very hilarous!

Now jeeva is seen in the jail and talks to her mother. Thamira asks her how are you. Jeeva says she is very happy because she is winning her battles with Adhi.
Now she triumphantly shows the property document to Thamira.

Jeeva seeing her mother in the prison and tells her that she got the documents.Thamira is horrified as tohow exactly jeeva got the doc's. Jeeva says the other day, I went to selva's office and pretended to be nithila to get the tender. Today I did the same but went to adhilakshmi's house and ot the documents. But Thmira is still uhappy saying we should not use adharma methods in order to show the truth (or dharma as thamira ays).
But jeeva is dismissive and says to fight adhi, we can adopt her own methods. She also quotes Mahabharatha and says Lord Krishna helped pandavas to win over Kouravas by adopting deceit only and so to win the truth, we don;t need to worry about the methods,she says.Thamira asks whether nithila might come in danger because of what you are doing. Jeeva assures that nithila will not be in any danger and in case there is any possibility, jeeva might even sacrifice her life for akka. Thamira says no need for anyone to sacrifice her life and all she prays is that before her last breath, nithila must understand her. Jeeva tells her not to worry--very soon, you me and nithila will be together in the same house.

Now jeeva says that she is going to file a case against adhi with these documents.

Shanta comes to selva and tells him thatmother told to inform selva to finish those accounting matters so that we can give them to I.T dept tomorrow itself.Selva says it is not possible to do all these in one day. When they are talking, adhi comes and scolds selva but she does not want to talk directly to selva and rather speaks to shanta only. She tells shanta to asks selva which job has he done properly. We set up the Bangaore business for him and he just came back here suddenly and that unit is running in losses. And you made a mess of that tender and we lost the foreign contract. She says these accounts have to be finalised in one day. Selva says nothing will happen if we submit the accounts after few days. Adhi tells shanta to tell selva that in that case we might even put somebody else for that work.
Selva gets angry and says go ahead and do it and walks away.

lalitha sees Jeeva on the road near jeeva 's car. She asks jeeva why exactly you came that day. Jeeva says who are you. Lalitha identifies herself as Adhi's DIL. And she tells jeeva about coming in saree that day from temple and then tells again about the difference in saree. Jeeva pretends not to understand and asks what you are telling really. Lalitha now says she does not like Adhi at all as Adhi does not want to see her with her husband and so she thought jeeva and herself can be good friends since both of them don't like adhi at all.
But Jeeva does not respond to her directly. lalitha says the way you escaped that day by tying the old saree from the window was really daring and I am very impressed. She now asks for jeeva 's autograph. Jeeva is surprised and asks whether she is a film star or what to give a autograph and tells Lalitha that her rivalry over adhi is only about business matters and then drives away.
Lalitha is surprised and then tells to herself about jeeva that one day or other you will need my help also.

Jeeva in her home and Prabhakar comes and shows her the affidavit that is going to be submitted in court for their house. Jeeva reads and nods her agreement to the draft. Prabhakar goes and Natraj says he is a very good person. Jeeva says there are more good people than him even and hence only Chennai is getting rains.Natraj asks whom you are referring. Jeeva says I am referring to you only because you left your family and near ones and supported me from beginning.
Natraj wipes the tears from his eyes and says there are people who have even sacrificed their lives and compared to that I have done a small thing only .
Now he tells about what he did that day. He says he did some check out of Lalitha's background and found that she is from an average family and she was harassed by adhi very much. Now jeeva says ok, what lalitha was telling me was really the truth and so we can make use of her also later and definitely it is useful to have our person in our enemy's house.

Selva comes home tired and sits in front of nithila in the sofa and tells her to bring coffee as he is very tired.
Nithila just twists her lip as usual and walks away.
Sundara sees this and goes and makes coffee and brings to selva who takes it and drinks it and then only realises that his father has given to him.
He asks why you are troubling yourself like this and where is nithila.Sundara says you are already tired and nithila just walked away and I knew that in your present mood, there might be arguments again with nithila and hence I brought you the coffee. Selva says he is lucky to have such an understanding father.
Sundara says don't worry, Nithila will understand you one day or other. When they are talking, nithila appears on the scene and she tells sundara angrily what you think will never happen.

A very interesting episode and Adhi is certainly kept on her toes by Jeeva! Jeeva's acting is very good today in the last scene.

Nithila tells Sundara that never dream that I will ever change my mind. I know all of your manipulations and I will definitely try to come out of this marriage. She walks away leaving them stunned.

Now a surprise for Nithila and we see a nun and another girl coming in. The girl whose name is Selvi says Mother is going to Vatican and she wanted to see you and hence I brought her here.. Now they see Nithila's married look and ask in a surprised way,when you got married and why you did not tell us..Nithila says it was a sudden marriage and hence we could not inform anyone.
Now Mother asks her whether she is happy with her married life and Nithila with a slight hesitation, replies that she is very happy. Mother wants to see Nithila's husband and so she calls out "ennanga" and a surprised selva sporting a broad smile comes down and Mother is surprised to see that she already knows him.
Then Mother says she does not know how much time she might have to stay in Vatican and hence she wants to keep a photo of Nithila/selva together. she asks selvi to take the photos.
First, Mother is there in the photos along with nithila/selva and Selvi asks Mother to let the couple be together. Both of them stand a little apart but Selvi tells them to come closer and then asks Selva to put his hand on Nithila's shoulders which he does with lots of hesitation.
Photo with Mother is over and now Selvi wants a photo of only the couple . Again she asks Seva to put his hands round Nithila and when he hesitates, she says this is your wife only--why so much hesitation?
While going, Selvi asks Nithila's phone and when she hesitates, Selva gives his card to her.

Adhi gets a registered letter and it is a notice from lawyer Prabhakar about giving back the house to Jeeva. She gets shocked and shouts for Mithila and tells her what nonsense is this--how much arrogance this jeeva may have had to send me such a notice.
She immediately rushes to Jeeva's office with nithila.
Lalitha looks at the duo leaving the house and says well done Jeeva. Lalitha looks very happy.

Adhi storms into Jeeva's office and shouts her name.Natraj sees her and asks her why you are shouting. She says I want to see that jeeva immediately--come on bring her now, she shouts.Natraj says she is a meeting with some clients but adhi shouts him down saying this adhilakshmi will not wait for anyone.
Jeeva now comes looking irritated --what is this Baba, lot of noise just like a fish market. she sees Adhi and ask oh, you are only shouting --this is an office you know,she says. Adhi shows her the notice and asks enna thimir irundhaa ippadi oru notice vitruppe,she asks.
Jeeva looks at the notice and says yes, I only sent it, what about that--may be you can't read English--you are managing a big granite company, she asks teasingly. Adhi shouts at her and Nithila now comes in support of Adhi and tells Jeeva what right you have to send such a notice. Jeeva says she has the same rights as you have. And then the discussion comes about Thamira and again Nithila speaks badly of her mother. Jeeva says see, I also was brought up from three months after my birth by Baba but I have high regard for my mother since I know what she exactly is. And you were also brought up by your aunt and uncle but you have been misled totally so that you don't know the truth about your mother.
Now Nithila asks on what documents are you claiming stake to this house. Jeeva laughs and says documents--ha ha--she looks at Natraj who brings her the documents and she gives it to Adhi..
Adhi looks at the documents and is shocked.

It was an interesting episode and Preethi does well every time in the double roles. I was a little lazy to write the update on friday but now the dialogues all seem to be some distant memory but I will just try whatever possible.

Jeeva talking with Adhi and gives her the property document and she is shocked. She asks how you got this document. Jeeva and Natraj smile at each other and say you can't ask nadhi moolam and rishi moolam --in the same way, don't ask how I got the document.
Now Adhi/Nithila rush out of the office holding the document and Jeeva calls out "ey" to adhi who looks back shocked. Jeeva asks what is the meaning of taking the document and going like this. Give me back the document,she orders. Adhi throws it on the floor. Jeeva says not like that--give me properly. Nithila bends down and gives it and then they leave.
Adhi/nithila come home and Adhi in full fury goes to her room and checks and finds that the document is missing. Her anger turns to Lalitha and asks her do you know about it. The way Lalitha was behaving, I was thinking she might blurt out something but luckily she was not so bad and kept pretending she does not know about this matter. She even makes a joke about the word "pathiram" and "bathiram" and says the word is such that you should keep the document safely.

Adhi again is getting suspicious of her only and tells Nithila to tell Lalitha to go out of the house. Lalitha says as per court decision, they will watch whether adhi is treating her DIL properly and so if you create any problem for me, then I will make complaint,she says. Adhi of course, comes down immediately at such a threat and tells Nithila not to tell anything to Lalitha.
After they leave, Lalitha does a small jiggle in joy.

Adhi goes to her lawyer (krishnamoorthy) and tells him that theis Prabhakar was your assistant only and hence you should be able to control him and how dare he issue a notice to me on behalf of jeeva. She says if you can't stop this notice, then you will lose all the business from our company and I will ensure you are reduced to a zero.
KM gets scared and says he will try to speak to Prabbhakar and do what is possible.

KM goes to Prabhakar and tells him to come out of this case. But Prabhakar is very calm and says he is respecting him as a senior but he can't withdraw the notice. He says if the truth were on Adhi's side, then it will be known in the court,why she is so scared now?
Jeeva now enters and she applauds what Prabhakar is saying. She gives her hand to KM who does not reciprocate. Jeeva says Adhi got scared and hence obviously she is trying such techniques. KM says if you stick to this attitude, then we may have to face each other in court. Prabhakar says no problem--if you win I will be happy that my senior has won and in case I win, then also I will think that I won because of whatever I learned from you.
There is nothing left for KM to talk further and he says we will face in court and leaves.

Lawyer KM comes to Adhi's guest house and enters very hesitatingly--almost like entering a lion's den. She asks him eagerly whether Prabhakar agreed to withdraw the notice.
KM says the matter is complicated because they have the document and as per the deed, the property is pledged to you for 25 years and if the loan amount is not paid in 25 years, then it is all your property only.
But now only 23 years have elapsed and if they are ready to pay the money now, then you will have to accept it and leave the property. No alternative for you,he says .
Adhi asks him what shall we do now. He says you have to think of a compromise and there is a proverb--saatchikaaran kalile vizharadhai vida chandaikaaran kaalile vizhunda better--Adhi says so far in my life, I have never compromised with anybody--for the 1st time, you are making me come down like this.
She tells him to fix a meeting with Jeeva.

Next we see Jeeva with Prabhakar in a car and coming out in a open ground like area and Adhi also comes out of her car and Adhi/Jeeva come near and look at each other.

Slightly different ideas coming up in the end and it will be very interesting to see how Jeeva will tackle Adhi's new trick.

Jeeva and Adhi having an almost eye ball to eye ball confrontation with prabhakar looking from afar. Jeeva asks Adhi eppadi irukeenga ? Adhi says enakku enna kuraichal--naan nallaathaane irukken.
Jeeva says no, you seem to have no peace of mind lately. Adhi says you have only snatched all the peace of mind by sending the notice to me to vacate the house.
Jeeva says rightfully that house belongs to us and hence I sent that notice. Now Adhi say I don't want to waste my time with you. You must know that I will never vacate that house. I have a blank cheque and I can fill up any amount that you want and so tell me and take the money and go.
Jeeva laughs and says she does not want the money and she wants the house only. She says my father planned that house and built that and so it belongs to us only. Adhi now threatens her and Jeeva looks at her again and tells her ok, andha veetai neengale vechikunga, no problem.
Adhi is overjoyed and says oh, I can keep that house, oh that is very good. What do you want for that. Jeeva says I just want only one thing to be done in return for that.
Adhi asks suspiciously what she needs to do.
Jeeva says you have to just acknowledge that 20 years back you killed my father thillainathan.
Adhi gets furious and asks whether she is playing with her and says that cae is finished when thamarai was sentenced and how can you blame me for that.
Jeeva says her mother was very paavam and she did not know that you have only done the murder. She also says don't think you have destroyed all evidence for the murder and still there is one evidence left.
Adhi is shocked and says what you are telling, don't simply say anything you like. What is that evidence, tell me,she says. Jeeva says the evidence is your own conscience.
Adhi says you try whatever you want, nothing you can do and then she walks away.Jeeva tells her happy hunting for a new house and laughs.

Lalitha dancing and singing in her room and Shanta comes and is surprised to see her in such a jolly mood. He asks her what happened to you and then she tells about Adhi losing the document which is with Jeeva now and as Adhi is so upset, lalitha is very happy , she says. The king maramandai can't still understand her and so naturally asks her why you should be happy for such a thing.
Lalitha looks sternly at him and says Athai did her utmost to prevent us from being happy and so obviously any thing which makes her unhappy will surely make me happy.
Such complicated analysis is of course toooo much for Shanta and he again says you should not behave like that and says to himself that we have to get that document from that jeeva and then only mother will be happy.
Lalitha asks him what are you murmuring ? When he says nothing, she says may be something wrong with you.

Jeeva with Natraj and tells what happened in the meeting with Adhi. He says he is worried about the increasing hostility between jeeva and adhi. He says he is worried for jeeva because adhi is a desperate person and hence might do anything. He says he wants jeeva to be settled in life and no harm should come to her. Tears start coming from his eyes and Jeeva consoles him.

Now she asks whether he has taken his tablets. He says when has he taken the tablets without being given by jeeva who looks sad.

Adhi talks to her lawyer Krishnamoorthy. He says the only way out is if jeeva really claims the property, then we can say that as it was her father's property, Nithila and thamira also should agree to jeeva's action.
About nithila, we have no problem but the problem is how to make thamira oppose jeeva's plans. Adhi says it is very difficult because Thamira is obviously angry with me and she will not cooperate with us.
Lawyer says the only way out is you should tell Nithila to tell her mother that she should not agree with jeeva in this matter.
Adhi likes the idea and says she will do something about this.

Lalitha at home again singing (she also looks 10% loosu only!) and the postman comes and tries to attract her attention but can't. Postman now makes an action as if she is deaf or not. Lalitha gets annoyed and comes there and widens her ears and says she is hearing very well.
Postman has a letter for Nithila.
Lalitha calls out for nithila who comes and takes the letter and opens it.
