Thanks a lot meli, rimasen, bluegal, usha_pooja n atina for warm welcome. Hey!! my name is uma, i cud not create login in my name, so i created with my research area. address me uma and thanks in advance.

what a nice update bluegal. excellent!!! truely speaking i hv never watched any serial, after reading this forum's update its more than watching in tv. atina's photos n her efforts towards this forum r simply beyond my words.

Actually i hv one doubt!!! basically pottu vandhu zero knowledge of padippu, cud not even pronounce apple etc.. how come he is telling now pc, computer, etc...

also, for a person with less knowledge in computer itself it is very difficult task to make them learn things in computer n operate properly. how come surya without knowledge of anything operating confidentail pc even though instructions hv been given thru phone by nithi. i guess this is not acceptable!!!!

in general all the compaies has confidential passwd to open the pc, how surya knows the passwd, if he knows also how cud he spell without english knowlege properly, if this is possible also how he operated left n right mouse in laptop. 😕 😕

can anyone clear my doubts!!! n help me from confusion!!!! pl!!!

Aha! Nice discussions happening here. I did try to see these particular episodes online (with poor audio-visual effects), and from what I saw I could make out the following things:

1. It is true that Surya has zero knowledge with computers. He himself admits it. And the company computers are ordinary computers only, not laptops. Only Jeeva has a laptop for business use.

2. The phone conversation regarding Nithila giving instructions to Surya is shown without voices, due to background music. So we do not know what she told him, but it is understood that all her instructions are given in Tamil - not in English.

3. Regarding finding the tender quote issue through phone, Nithila first instructs Surya how to turn on the computer. He does not know how to do that. Because first they show Surya searching for the button for quite sometime....Nithila gives a few more instructions, and he looks down...finds the botton, presses it...it turns on. So his actions show that he is really clueless about computers.

4. When Jeeva comes into the office that night, Surya out of fear...suddenly shuts off the computer and hides. After she leaves, Surya again turns on the computer and has again lost all the instructions. So Nithila re-starts her instructions again, all the way from the beginning.

5. Finally, after opening a few folders on the computer, he finds the tender quote issue. He tells Nithila the quote on phone first and she later asks him to forward that particular page to her email id. (Again, because the voices were deleted, we assume that Nithila instructs surya how to type in her email id and successfully send the email!) However, when Jeeva re-checks the system, an email message is shown to be delivered to Aadhilakshmi's email id. (and not Nithila's! I got confused here...)

Of course, now about the password. There is no password in any of the company's computers, according to the story. This was mentioned recently in one of Jeeva's scenes with Natraj. She says she has smartened up herself and has now put security lock system (i.e. password) for every computer in her office, so that no information can be sent from her office computers to anywhere else. So there! The mistake made is obvious, it is included in part of the dialogues, and Jeeva says it is her foolishness and she will correct her mistakes.

I loved a dialogue that Natraj tells her in that scene: "It's not about winning or losing, it's about making mistakes...finding those mistakes...and correcting those mistakes by ourselves. That is when we are truly a success." What a wonderful concept! We should thank director Haribabu for creating such a well-scripted scene, because Natraj's words not only motivate Jeeva to do better...but is a moral lesson for us viewers as well.

Oh, and before I forget a big CONGRATS to Atina! Your prediction regarding TT Company name has turned out to be true. Jeeva literally spells out to Nithila in one of the episodes that TT stands for "Thillainathan-Thamarabarani" Granite Company. And I was sitting and smiling, thinking of you....well done, Atina!

wow spain good analysis there, kind of a cleared most of our doubts. but i was thinking since he has zero knowledge of english, other than saying hi, good morning, hello etc, how was he able to open the email and type in the mail id since he should not have known how to type words in english furthermore how does nithi know what kind of programs has been installed in tt granites and how exactly was she able to direct surya in details although he did it slowly is still a mystery.

another blooper i noticed was when surya was trying to find the quotation and jeeva walks in suddenly, she surya hid himself. the camera angle shows jeeva's office on the extreme left and the workstation (shanmugams') just outside it. but the following morning when jeeva went to check shanmugam's pc, jeeva, baba & surya came out of the office from the extreme right not the left. i was confused but then i thought it might have been baba's office? did anyone noticed it.

and the blooper on aathi/nithi email id, i missed seeing that cause i was busy typing out the summary at the same time 😛 but did nithi tell surya to send to her email id or her company's email id?

Wow bluegal, you have listed out all the bloopers! Nice job. We can send this list to the creative team now. The scene itself was confusing...very unrealistic...but they tried justifying it as much as they could. So we just have to assume that Surya is smart...(where as Mr. Pottu was really dumb just a few episodes back!)

Regarding Nithila's email id, she asked Surya to forward the quote to her email id only, she did not mention the word "company email id" while giving instructions. Rest of the clarifications, we need to ask the director!

Hi Spain!! you answers r seems to ok, but think practically, when i try teach my appa abt computer, he took time to learn from me how to open mails n send mails. as bluegal said pottu does not know any english word to spell correctly or pronounce.

one more thing, to send an email don't u require any email id even to send from outlook express. from whom id the mail has been sent to Aadhi's id. which id jeeva has opened n found that mail has sent to aadhi's id. which id? how come surya knows passwd?

it is so one can find imme. by opening the system, the mail has gone to different pc from this system?

searching for a button to switch on the comp is ok, how come he can shut down imme. n switch on again, b'cos basic shut down takes few mins. May be here we canassume when pochi gives instruction to pottu he might hv turned the main button itself off.

if he take time to search for button itself, how come he can find correct folder n correct tender etc...

is that one company has only one tender in their pc?

how come nithila knows abt the folder n name of the file in which tender has saved etc...

but when v say surya is smart enough n nithi is guiding, he shud hv smartness to clear the sent-mail folder, temporary internet folder n cookies etc.. so that no one can find anything....

actually director has done big sodapal in this scene. i agree with atina that director is good, till now he has taken the story line properly. even now it is good n learnt everything from all ur updates n comments only. but director has to take care of such part when is he introducing computer concept to one zero knowledge person.

in this point i totally agree with rojapoo that v shud think logically if v want to watch serials.

since this is my first discussion, i may written something wrong n bored u, if so i m sorry.
