Besides, it's difficult to keep spying on an auto driver - he visits so many places throughout the day.
Their target is Vanaja, not the auto driver. If they get his contact numbers, they may find Vanaja's number there and track her down easily. That would save a lot of time too...instead of doing house to house investigations all over the city.
I couldn't follow most of the dialogues spoken by Venkat (he spoke with a strong Madrasi slang).
Well, nothing much happened in today's episode - except for the introduction of Pottu & Poochi!

Spain, what I thought was Vanaja might have latched onto the auto driver after Venky was dead. It may even be possible that the auto driver might be even involved in that murder.

I thought the shady woman whom the auto driver's wife was referring was really Vanaja.

If the auto driver is tailed, then he will lead to vanaja surely!

I can understand your reasoning.
But why would Vanaja fall for an auto driver? I mean, if she could be the mistress of Venky and live off his luxury...what would the auto driver have to offer her? True love?
I think the auto driver must have found a mistress of his social class only...and Vanaja must have financially helped him out & moved on. That's all.
Of course, even I could be wrong too.
If you're right, dasa sir, then Vanaja is a sick woman. Living off on two married men.
One of them is dead, the other - God save him.

dasa i was thinking along that line too... rem that auto driver that took thamira home.. i suspect might be this driver (i can't rem if it was him earlier). It might have been vanaja's & that auto guy's plan to shift the blame onto thamira perhaps.

im waiting for our detectives to call the 3 vanaja's found in the contact list...

And you both might be right too.
I missed the episode of the murder scene...so I cannot comment on the auto driver who took Thamira home. By the way, did Thamira come to Venky's house with the same auto and leave with the same auto that day?
Wow...the way you guys are thinking, it really looks like Vanaja is a sick woman. And a master murderer.

Bluegal, I just went thru the archives and read about Venky's murder case. The auto driver, Murugan, who came in today's episode is not the same man who took Thamira home on the day of the murder. But a gold ear stud was found on the floor and a broken glass bottle was found on a sofa on the day of Venky's murder. Maybe Vanaja hit Venky on the head with the bottle and ran away, while Ganga came and shot him too? Do you also remember in one of the opening song clippings, they show Venky and Vanaja fighting over the cell phone? It seems Venky planned to hand over that cell phone (with the MMS clipping of Thillai's murder) to Thamira, soon after which he was supposed to leave for Malaysia. But before that, he was murdered.

Yup, Wingy. Few in the forum are unable to catch
prize Tamil phrases like this and may not be able to

Oh, the archives section is really useful to read at times. More about Venky's murder case:

The sub-inspector said that according to lab reports, Thamira's fingerprints were found to match those on Venky's dead body and on the broken beer bottle, which was used to kill the victim. They use this evidence to arrest Thamira. If Venky was truly shot by Ganga, shouldn't a bullet have been found in Venky's post-mortem report? I guess that means he was not gun shot (although a gun shot was heard inside his house while Ganga had his gun there). It looks like Vanaja must have killed him with the broken beer bottle then (without revealing her fingerprints on the bottle).

The other point is that Ganga arrived in Venky's house before Thamira reached there. But by the time Ganga arrived, the 5 crore rupees that he was searcing for...had mysteriously vanished. He finds Venky's camera phone upstairs in a room, while Venky's body was lying downstairs at his house. My guess is that Vanaja left with the 5 crore rupees, before Ganga arrived there.

Another point is that the camera phone Venky had used to store the MMS clipping of Thillai's murder, did not belong to him. He bought that camera phone from a slum drunkard. The slum drunkard told Ganga he sold the camera phone to a man in exchange for alcohol bottles. Why would a reputed businessman like Venky buy a camera phone from a slum drunkard?

The last point is that both MS and Vanaja mysteriously disappeared after Venky's murder. The caretaker of MS's house said to Shobana that he left for some foreign country and will never return.
