Well said.
If Siddharth takes up Shivam's role that role will no longer be a side character as people are saying here.
Since the writing and characterisation the core concept everything seems to be going for a toss they might as well bring back Sid as Shivam. At least he will add value to the show as well as the character.
But I doubt he will be interested in it.Besides if he comes Nandini there is this danger of Nandini and her story paling next to Shukla ji's screen presence simply because Nandini is no Anandi but a copy of Anandi.
Yes, if SS is re-casted as Shivam, Nandini's story will become pale.
But then why is it a mandate for makers to run Nandini's story only, if Shivam's can work better?
After all, Nandini is not a BV. And Shivam is just as much as AnSh's child, as Nandini, so why would makers want to focus on only N and not her bro?
If Sid is interested in coming back, they can very well focus or two equal footage parallel stories of both Shivam and Nandini (as stories of AnSh children), and whichever story does well for them, they can continue with that.
Anyways, by now, makers would have realised how existing viewers are not interested in Nandini's story. Most of them are just waiting to know Anandi and jagya's fate and then call it quits.
While fandom of new actors may bring in new sets of audience, it is important that makers retain the existing viewers too. For them, the only lollypops are Sid and Shanky.
I doubt if Shanky will be brought as Abhi, since Shanky as Jagya lost his existence to Shakti as Jagya. But with Sid, there is a possibility since Shiv's face has never been replaced.
Regardless, I am happy either ways. I would rather see Sid elsewhere than in BV again.
