Rival site: Mahhi and Avinash to play the new leads in Balika Vadhu

It's time to welcome new faces on Colors' Balika Vadhu (Sphereorigins).

While other media portals reported about the show shutting shop, Tellychakkar exclusively stated that the show is set to take 15-years leap.

The daily soap will now have a fresh cast with Surekha Sikri (Dadisa), Toral Rasputra (Anandi) and Rajeshwari Sachdev (Mangala) making an exit from the show.

While Mangala and Dadisa would be presumed dead, the fate of Anandi's character is yet not confirmed.

According to reports in leading dailies, the makers have roped in television actors Mahhi Vij, last seen in Khatron Ke Khiladi and Avinash Sachdev of Iss Pyaar Ko... fame.

Mahhi will play the role of grown-up Nimboli and Aviansh will portray the character of Amit.

Confirming the same, Avinash shared, "I am playing the character of Amit, who will be calm and composed. He is a practical guy who fights against injustice. He is a problem-solver and good friends with Nimboli."

He also told us that he had no idea about the upcoming track, "we are yet to sit and talk about the story."

The cast will start shooting in the coming days and the leap sequence will mostly air from April 25.

We also buzzed Mahhi, but she remained unavailable to comment.

They have not yet announced who is casted to play Shivam and Abhi.

If makers want to hook viewers, they can bring back Sid Shukla as Shivam.
