Our Ends are Beginnings...
In a poem by TS Eliot there is a statement, "In my end is my beginning".
The end of the deed was the initial thought which begins some time back , which evokes many consequential affects over the psyche of the affected person/ persons , both individualistic[ Prats] as well as in a collective way [ over her fans ] too . We are all still reeling under the sorrow for her demise . We can understand her plight at that time , in all those lonely and painful moments which she spent in that downhearted ...dejected mood . 😭After all, we are women with a heart .But many are thinking it in a different way , as if she did a mistake and they are opining that she deserves it .😡
Agree with Alex and Padma , whenever I think about her painful sufferings in that confinement , in the captivity of that ***** , I tend to lose my sanity , tried to imagine how horrible it was for her ... silently she bore the brunt of that devastating revelations one after the other about him which threatened her existence itself , which must have been feared her , when she dared to question ,he silenced her voice in a cruel way .
She loved him, believed him , entwined herself in his maliciously woven crooked cob web and at the end , lost everything , her name , fame , money , her own near and dear ones , lastly end her suffering with this death . Agree , we will take time to accept , we all will need some more time to understand the intricacies of the life and death .
Our's is a developing nation , we are trying to imitate the western culture in many aspects , the recent one is Live -In -Relationships , where people in general without any gender specification , kept an exit route open whenever they feel it is suffocating to sustain as a unit anymore . That idea infiltrated in to our society recently , the starting point of the decadence of the marital relationships which issues a few rights to a girl , and the modern youth who are mostly evasive in their duties but wishing to get all the benefits the freedom offers , esp in the case of visual media people , in the celebrity life styles , they started adopting this life-style . That is one of the main reason Pratyusha was questioned by many ,for her free lifestyle . The crooked males are using it as a facility to enjoy their life in a flamboyant way as long as they wish and whenever they want to exit , they are exiting either in a criminal way or in a harsh heart wrenching way .The girls has to realise the intricacies of this new trend which is not suitable to our selfish and mainly male dominated society . To enjoy freedom in every aspect , first you have to have gender equality , which will take few more centuries and few lakh lives it seems 😡
People are questioning the right of a grieving mother to express her doubts regarding her daughter's murder , her right to ask the Supreme Court to cancel the bail of that ghost .
With painful logical conclusions about a girl's love and life , about her freedom and right , they are concluding the story in their own way . A request --- atleast now , let us think about this issue as a cultural decline in our society , regarding a girl's love and life , not as a bunch of fans , let us think as a responsible human beings , as an understanding women , as an educated cultured persons . Heckling a girl for her personal choices , and blaming her for her priorities after her death is not a civilized way of expression . Let us denounce the degeneracy of our human values in this blame game . Let us respect a mother's love and longing to get justice for her child .

You wrote this piece with such power and eloquence that it brought tears in my eyes. I have been inactive on I-F for ages but your post made me come out of my hibernation and share a few thoughts. The limelight does bring its own pros and cons. While these young girls get sucked into adapting the modern lifestyle through all the glitz and glamor, it is their company and the non-existence of their family support in town that also drives them to not have a sane voice in their lives anymore. Lack of family support and family presence with them is a huge cause of girls like Prats doing the unthinkable. I definitely agree with your points but I feel scared to think that this is not the end and there will be others like her. Some we would hear about and most, we would never even come to know...but the culprits who give physical/mental/emotional/financial torture to these young girls would continue with their lives as usual. This is what irks me. I hope that the case is thoroughly investigated by CBI as I still have faith in their capable force to go through every piece of evidence, whether submitted or not. Prats wont be back now but lets look around to see if anyone in distress needs help, needs a shoulder to cry on and decompress his/her feelings so that at least they can feel cared/loved and not dejected to the point that they decide to give their lives up.

I miss this girl...Her smile was precious and her beauty was endless..Perhaps such beauty does not belong in our corrupted society...
