Creatives failed to show how and why bal vivah is wrong. Their point is balak var and his family will be like monsters - the girl will be made to do household works and has to leave study and then balak var will abandon her? Why always balak var and his family wrong? Is this the only thing why bal vivah is wrong? How can all families with a male child be wrong? And what if the family has both male and female children? The serial preaches something and shows something else.

Bhago and Khajan did not marry annadi thinking "it was best in her interests" but because it was the custom.

Actually, makers succeeded in showing various ill effects of bal vivah on Balika Vadhus (since the title is highlighting vadhus and not balak var /vivah).

Nimboli will open a school, top 10th exams like Anandi and then become Sarpanch of Jhalra. It will be declared as a district by CM and the collector/ some official who will be posted there will fall in love and marry her. Perhaps Anandi will die like Bhago convincing Nimboli to marry him or she might die saving her from some danger. Later Nimboli will find a good Beendini for her ex-husband. 😛

In between there will be 5 years leap. By that time Kundan will be a good boy. Mangala will arrange for Nimbuli and Kundan s gahana. Then 26 year old kundan will love another girl and give laththi to Numbuli. Then collector can come.

Through their lead Anandi - it was about how it snatches one's freedom to pursue their dreams

Phooli - the burden of bearing with widowhood

Sugna - Child out of wedlock

Champa - pregnancy and death

Gudiya - disturbed childhood.

Makers indeed succeeded in highlighting what little girls go through when burdened with child marriage.

But they undid their own doing when they decided to make Singhs as the backbone support in Anandi's life.

Anandi's return to BH was a huge backward step taken by the makers. It indicates that only if DSa was this nice in the past and if J never cheated her, bal vivah would have been perfect for Anandi.

but @red , how does it mean that her returning to BH shows Bal Vivah is a blessing?
This was shown that Singhs are too good. What they did is they believed in that custom but when they realized they did everything for her.

Anandi fought against the custom but when the people already realised their wrong doings why to cut all the ties with them.?

What DS did with A mostly because she strictly followed the custom, not because she hated Anandi. Beendhnis should not study , they should always follow their beendh, She was harsh with Suguna too.

When DS turned to a new leaf why should she cut her ties with them.?

They not only did for Anandi only, along with her they tried to help the society too, then why should Anandi become indifferent to them.

Yes, I agree creatives should have shown her living in Jaitsar but not in BH , That would have been a good step, not because I believe A dont have any right there, but because that would have been a better story.

Nobody is asking Anandi to cut ties with Dsa or jagya. But how fair is it that a woman goes back to her ex-husband's home and lives where he and his current wife are settled.
