Of course, there is no need of degree or experience to teach few people BUT both are "mandatory" for setting up school. Not sure how far you are aware of NGO's modus operandi - mostly NGO's run residential or non-residential bridge schools / tuition classes / skill training centers for child labour/ school drop outs & adult education camps.

Setting up school is not a joke, it involves various permissions, qualified HR & infrastructure which is similar for any one, there is no special criteria for NGO's. As far as I have seen, in BV the entire school set up is a big joke. Except Anandi (who did some miraculous ONLINE course) school lacks everything to call it so, forget about recognition. Everything will fall short in front this blooper 🤢

At present - there is no B. Ed. course by correspondence - perhaps upto 1995, there were two universities offering the distant education mode for B. Ed. - but that too required teaching experience (as trainee teacher) in some school and practicals etc. It was not online course that anyone with a laptop can clear sitting at home.

Now a days there aremany distance education courses including teacher training courses like Montessori training.
Distance education courses previously used to be done at home now with advent of internet many online courses are available.

And all these courses have contact sessions at centers designated to give training in the required course.

Even B Ed course can be done through correspondence.

People who are in teaching line can upgrade their qualifications by taking exams.

I have known many teachers who have started off with just 10/12th pass and after that one year diploma in teaching joined as teachers and then they went on to upgrade their qualifications while working.

In fact the school where I studied there were some of the teachers who taught me upgraded their qualifications while working and doing the course by correspondence. The school where I studied was one of the schools selected by NCERT to evaluate these trainee teachers. Lot of people whowere doing by correspondence or in a college where the facilities were not available theu used to come over to our school for their practical sessions and our teachers to evaluate their performance.

Since Anandi has been teaching in a school she can upgrade her qualifications by working in school and taking exams.

I said she was giving exams online.

There can be many exams.

B Ed can be done by distant learning course.

We were discussing about Anandi completing education through ONLINE not distance mode which is blooper. There is HUGE difference between distance education & ONLINE. She must be giving many exams BUT none of them make her eligible for NORMAL degree as there is no online exam system available for undergraduate or masters

In distant mode, except attending day to day classes (replaced by weekend classes or contact program) candidate has to fulfill everything like regular student, which sadly Anandi never did. She was never showing writing exams...I don't know how & when she got her degree (forget online silly thing, we are not talking about GRE /GMAT)

B.Ed can be done through distance education system BUT only candidates working in a recognized / affiliated educational institution and Anandi is not one

IGNOU offers B Ed.
Anandi was not shown attending classes.

She was shown studying on her own. Many people sit at home and do BA which is what she did.

Have they shown the process of Anandi and Ganga establishing themselves in their chosen fields?
No.

All the process got covered in 11 year leap.We know that their children were babies before leap post leap they are all in pre teens and teenage.
So obvious a lot has happened in the lives of Anandi Jagya and Ganga in the span of 11 years were they were working towards establishing themselves.

When they did not show all the things that happened in 11 years how is it being assumed that they just sat?

We are missing the woods for the trees.

Enjoy the drama and forget the details. If you want to do details, then do it for everyone. Not selectively.

Emotional drama comes first and the other things are secondary.

A trainee teacher needs to be assessed by another fully qualified teacher(s) and signed off by principal. In Anandi's school back then there wasn't any other teacher or principal to assess her.
She was whole and sole.

So who really assessed Anandi's teaching skills?

A very good friend of mine, who is a teacher did her B Ed before working as a trainee teacher and then teacher.

Did Anandi fulfilled the criteria? In how many years she became a graduate from merely 8th pass?

1. No university in India is conducing online exams for undergraduate, masters or teaching program
2. Online & distance education are two different things
3. Nursing can be done after 10 standard

4. Any indian citizen above 25 years, mental fit without proven criminal record can contest elections

5. NGOs mostly don't run schools (they open bridge schools, camps) if they do they should fulfill certain requirements

6. Anandi neither got qualification nor experience to open a school, don't even talk about infrastructure, HR and technicalities

Even I've heard about bridge schools for children who need to get used with regular education system. They are given special care since they are lagging behind. But it is not clear which type of school Anandi is running. We can hardly find 30 students even during assembly or some function at Shiv Niketan. If it is a regular school from primary to 10th standard then there should at least be 10 classes without considering sections/divisions. I found Sarita's statement funny when she said to Nidhi's mother admissions ended. As if their classes are flooded with students. 😆

Usually School Principal & admin. office work for long hours compared to other staff who leave within an hour after school timings. They have lot of things to deal with on daily basis. Perhaps Anandi doesn't have this problem given the strength of her school. That is why she is able to travel freely whenever she want. She can completely utilize her time for personal problems.

Bachelor's degree is not the only thing required to become a school principal. Master's degree is also compulsory along with BEd. Many institutes look for PhD candidates along with these qualifications. Teaching experience for 5-10 years is required. Some even go for 10-15 years. Usually institutes prefer candidates with experience i.e. who worked as a principal previously or at least worked as a head of department.
