Mangala free episode. Atlast. It was nice to see an episode involving Nimboli without Mangala trying to control and object. Atlast CVs let go off their precious discovery Mangala for atleast one episode.
Anandi's complete family enjoying and participating as any true normal family. No BH and no Mangala.

I think Shivam looked very pretty as a girl and he even unconsciously imitated Nimboli's walking style.
And Nimboli looked like a thousand bucks like a boy.

Kundan was fooled.

The boy who played Gandhi did well.

Want to see more of Sarita than depressing Mangala.

After really long time felt like I was watching Balika Vadhu of old times.
Such a well written scene to tell Anandi's story and also convey the messages it aimed to convey importance of educating girls and message against child marriage.

It was full of positivity between the mother and her two children all bonding through the course of their daily routine.Even the kidnapping scene which came at the end of the episode couldn't spoil the mood.

Anandi's children looked so cute. They cast the child actors very well. Those kids look like two peas in a pod.😆

Anandi just awestruck by the cuteness of her kids and full of mother's pride when she saw them giving the performance one in front of the audience and the other from behind the screen giving a voice over.
The kids looked like they belonged together.

Good that people saw the kidnappers and the vehicle and more importantly Sarita saw this.
Thankfully it seems like a short track.

Sarita is paying her dues.

-----------------

Now it is clear that Mangala's negativity is not needed at all to make viewers accept the child going back to her mother. In the episode Anandi and her two kids looked like they belonged with each other.

They can show positive well written scenes like this to promote mother and childrens' bond.

Mangala's negativity is only to add more number of episodes to the already long running show.

Because ultimately it is the positive scenes between Anandi Nandini and Nandini Shivam which matter in the story and based on these positive moments the child is going to accept her mother who supposedly threw in her garbage bin and not her negative feelings towards Mangala.

My question for all of you is: How did Mangala not join the fashion show? How did she stay back? Normally she is like velcro and stuck to her "mhaari chhori." Even when she is told to stay back she is adamant about joining in all of Nimboli's activities with the BH residents.

Whatever the circumstances for Mangala to be absent, they must be reproduced repeatedly for the show to move on from the stagnant place of underhanded politics of divide and rule. Perhaps Mangala can be sent away for a few days somewhere.

Further, it would be nice if the show progressed towards Mangala's unmasking. There are so many ways to start doing this:

1. Kanta (the one with the sick husband, who was supposedly going to Mumbai to get him treated, but instead is roaming around Jaitsar, attending melas and haggling over bunches of spinach) can try to pawn the kangans to a jeweler known to Dadisa, who then calls Dadisa.

2. Nandini/Nimboli blurts out something about meeting her "mother" in the mandir.

3. There is another encounter between Anandi, Nimboli and the redoubtable Kanta.

4. Someone from BH overhears Mangala fill Nandini's ears with untruths, and witnesses her manipulating the child.

Let them do something other than replaying the same old dynamics.

Yes. The story needs to move on.
They have shown through this episode it is not the negativity that pushes the child closer to Anandi and Shivam but it is the positivity which they exude that draws the child closer to them.

It is clear that the child wants the life that Anandi is giving to her children even if she doesn't know at this point that she is living the life that actually belongs to her by birth.

Don't really care if Mangala's real face is exposed in front of Anandi and Nandini or not.

But the bonding between Anandi Nandini and SHivam is right and sooner the child gets to know that Anandi is her mother and Shivam is her brother and she was not thrown in garbage bin but snatched from Anandi's arms the better it will be for the child.

If the CVs want to shield Mangala's real face from Anandi and Nandini so be it but want the child to know that she is the Nandini Anandi had been searching for all these years.

Then Mangala's negativity will not bother any more.

I think Mangala is already unmasked before ananth and Dadisa. It is the others who are not aware. She should be unmasked just the way others who play these games are unmasked. Like DB, Teepri etc. Because negativity from her will affect Nimboli more than anyone else and she deserves a break from her life saver. The life saving act is undone when Mangala forgave Kundan and let him loose on others.

Only time Mangala can be credited with saving Nandini's life was when Akheraj's sword was about to fall on that child. After that the child survived till now because of number of factors like kindness of the maid Akheraj and Harki's own compulsions and the child's good luck.
Akheraj Harki did the marriage to ward off the effects of the dosh in Kundan's horoscope so they would not have killed the child till the dosh is cleared
They didn't accept the child as their bahu completely because of Akheraj is particular about the caste and they didn't want a grand child whose caste they didn't know.So the child was safe that way.

If Akheraj knew that the child is from a rich and powerful family nothing would have stopped Akheraj and Kundan.

The child deserves a break from this great mother and saviour Mangala for sure but at the same time does the child to have her heart broken and more importantly trust in human kind be broken?
As it is the child has seen so much in her tender life.Mangala can be sent away by manipulations by Dsa so that the child will remain ignorant of the wily ways of Mangala till she is a little older.

I have said the same thing about Mannu too.He needed to know that his mother is separated from his father because they didn't get along and Jagya has adopted him with the consent of his father without knowing the gory details about his father until he is much older.

Same thing goes for Nandini too.

Mangala can be made to leave by giving her a face saving option and at the same time letting her know that her mother is Anandi.

I think Nimboli knows something is wrong with Mangala but out of gratitude and fear she is not prodding enough.

Nimboli's heart broke many times and knowing Mangala wont make her traumatic anymore. She will forget about it just like she used to do previously. Nimboli will come to her own judgment and will forgive Mangala. But will be wary of her and her words if she is smart enough.

It was not just an episode free of dark shadows but full of positive spirit with the theme woven into the scene so well.
When I saw pictures of Shivam dressed up like Nandini and spoilers about fancy dress competition I was hoping that Shivam would be talking about the plight of Balika Vadhus.
CVs didn't disappoint me.

Making Nandini give the voice over to Shivam's performance just added to the scene because of the way the girl said those lines with feeling. At the moment looked like a team which Anandi built to carry on the fight which she started.

The kids reminded me of their parents and how they worked as a team.

Hopefully this bit of knowledge about the life of a Balika Vadhu leads to a better understanding of his sister on Shivam's part and the knowledge that child marriage steals childhood for Nandini.

Want the writers to take forward what they showed yesterday.. LIttle N said those lines with a feeling..Question is - did she really get the import of what she was saying?? and Shivam too? Do not know if Anandi had the time to explain to them what they were enacting..
Long back - when Akhiraj was making his bid as a politician with school for girls - the child had a question about who is BV..Is she aware of the fact that she is a BV??
