I am increasingly incensed at way BV CVS are callously bringing reference to child found in garbage bin for their drama be it in case of Shiv or nandini or Nimboli.
Thousands of babies are abandoned and some survive and get into good families if destiny is good and some do not. But the way CVS showed it they showed it as extremely derogatory and not showing any sensitivity at all. Shiv being a composed person could think so derogatory and speak as if found there a biggest sin. CVS showed it as if it is the biggest shame giving negative thoughts to adoptive kids who may see this.
Shame and real shame that CVS are handling it so insensitively and if this is pure fiction they should stop calling them to be advocating against social issues.
Shame through mangala they handled it so harshly and insensitively. Before people jump in it is fiction they should think on reality and what it leaves on impressionable minds. Media has to be responsible and not make lives difficult for adoptive parents or foster parents who are taking these kids in hearts. But unfortunately everywhere it is same be it movie talvar or McDonald's ad where they show negatively about adopted kids or parents

i totally agree with you surpriya
A serial which is again and again claimed by writers and channel its a social message based serial From them such high degree of irresponsibility towards sensitive issues is pathetic Lets not forget the writers again and again say its not just a fictional serial but its a social message based serial Their aim is to impart good values to society to eradicate various social issues from the society but we viewers dont see that from serial but rather we see Balika Vadhu creatives have made a mockery of many sensitive issues for their own pathetic dramasšŸ‘ŽšŸ¼No body ask them not to dramatize their show to attract viewers but show some sensitivity towards the social issues Don't use them for useless dramas

It is useless to expect anything like social message from this serial. Their kathni and karni are poles apart. They may say that this is their attempt against child marriage - but they actually glorified child marriage. Any person watching this serial may think that blood line is everything. Not even in Shiv's case - even through Mannu - they degraded parental care and love provided by foster parent. Mangala has been made negative just to make Nimboli choosing Anandi acceptable.

The purpose of the serial is to glorify Anandi and Anandi(fy) all characters! Nothing less, Nothing more! They have covered their main aim with all these stories on social issues because that makes BV look different from other serials! Most of their tracks are attempts to show how great or awesome Anandi is hence there has been contradictions in their messages! They will try to prove one thing but within next few tracks, they will contradict their own messages only because it will pull down Anandi's greatness!

Puja to go back to theme they bought in impossible track of nandini kidnapping and go back to child marriage theme. They also bought back Anandi to Jaitser and Badi haveli with her ex husband which is not realistic. And this mother competition is pathetic and new drama of Mangala. So utterly horrible and no adoptive parent will ever treat this sensitive issue like they showed as they know it is not easy. And children knowing they are adopted do not hate themselves and speak derogatory way like shiv.

Very well said. CVs are big hypocrites. Anandi fights bal vivah living in her bal vivah home.

It is no good to say that DS and others love her. Why did the CVs show it that way instead of making her independent? . The message is Bal Vivah is fine if you marry into a good home. It is bad if you marry into a bad home. As simple as that.

On adoption they tom-tommed the message so much. They made a huge thing about Anandi choosing adopttion over giving birth. In the end they showed the adoption as a failure by unrealistically bringing the real parents. What was the need for that track?

They made Shiv cry and ask if he was found in a garbage bin. This was the worst shame he could suffer. They made him call his bio parents Ma and papa and thereby hurt his foster parents.

Now Mangala who loved Nimboli and took care of her as well as others in the family has been turned into an evil woman so that the bio mother can win.

Not only this. This constant reference to garbage bin makes it out that there is no redemption for the abandoned child. It is like a scar that can never go away whereas in real life babies recovered in such situations do sometimes get adopted and it is not a taint that remains with the child.

If blood is all that matters, CVs should stop giving homilies and pretending to be noble.

Garbage bin story - Did the CVs say this thing or are they showing us how the society regards children found in garbage bins?
Is it a mirror of the society's views on it or is it their view?

Aren't they showing us how much it hurts a child when people keep on referring to that? So how did it become a bad message?
One more thing isn't this a fiction show how else can they give a message?
They can only convey the message by showing how much it hurts a child when she is told repeatedly that she was found in garbage dump.

Various people in the story used that to serve their needs.

Akheraj and Harki kidnapped the child - to escape questions they came up with this.So that no questions will be asked about the child's parents.

Mangala used the garbage bin story because it served her well too. If the child believes that she is unwanted by her family she will move closer to her and appreciate her for what she has done.

Shiv wanted to know if he was found in garbage bin and asked his father if that was the reason why he was not informed about his adopted status. Why did that thought bother him? It bothered him because that meant he was unwanted by his parents and not because he thought it is something to be ashamed of.

As for Anop claiming his rights as father of Shiv has got more to do with wanting to get back the life and all the years that he has lost not just with Shiv but with his entire family while he was incarcerated in some prison in a foreign country.
For Shiv it didn't really matter because he was a man in his thirties and he has an identity of his own.For him Ira and Meenu both were equally important even before he came to know about the baby swap.By what name he addressed his parents didn't matter to him because all four of them were his parents. He had two fathers and two mothers. One father was around when he was growing up and the other father of whom he was proud of and later of whom he became very protective one mother fussed over him like he was a baby while the other mother imparted good values.Sanchi and Mahi both were his siblings. He didn't love Sanchi any less when she became a cousin instead of sister. In the end it didn't make a difference to Sanchi too.

Amol was adopted because Anandi wanted to experience mother hood and she didn;t want to wait till she became pregnant. She has given him all that she as a mother can and in return she also got a lot of love respect and devotion from her adopted son.But he was not an abandoned child as they were told but he was a missing child for whom his parents were searching for years.
Should the parents of the child be deprived of their own child for whom they have been searching for years just because he found another family who loves him and whom he too loves?
From what little has been shown of Amol post leap it does look like though he lives with his parents he still is part of Shekhar family and Shivam does seem to share a great bond with him.
If he is not seen now it is obviously because they don't have a story for him.

It is quite obvious right from the beginning at least for some people that the child has been more like a teddy bear or a comforter for Mangala rather than a daughter. The child deserves better than that.

There could be a message in garbage bin story - had it been true. Had it been shown in a positive way. If the child accepted the reality and accepted the love she is getting from foster parent. If it was shown that being found in garbage bin is not end all - life can be built even after being thrown in a garbage bin by the biological mother - for whatever reason she did. There could be a message if the child would not be shown pinning only for the biological mother (wonder how and why she is not pinning for her father - does she already knows that the father is no more in this world?). There can be positive ways of conveying a message. Creatives chose negative ways - so why should we praise them for this?

Personally, I do not think there was any need to bring one more balika vadhu and show that Anandi's daughter is living in very primitive society. The name of serial is balika vadhu - but that does not mean that they can show only balika vadhus all the time. If that is so - they should have ended the show when Anandi became adult. Otherwise - it should be continued as journey of Anandi minus all the illogical tracks that they included to stretch the story. Ironically, they fail to show bal-vivah is wrong through Anandi's story.
