Anyone who will see a baby getting killed will react that day. And its not that she only saved the girl. She too got to satisfy her motherly instinct. She got the greatest treasure in the world . Love from a baby which otherwise she would have never got.

Anandi's life would have been lot better without him. She would not have been hit by the bullet then Dsa would not have brought in Souten for Anandi cos there was no Beend.

She would have gone back to her parents and started going to school like Phooli.

Come to think of it Phooli's life was much better than Anandi's even though she was a child widow.Phooli got to go to regular school,wore school uniform like kids of her age and got to play with kids of her age, things which are luxury for Anandi.

There is no point discussing 'what ifs' to this extreme. Jagya was saved and alive. Anandi was badly injured but she was saved too by a generous doctor who left the biggest conference of his life to save Anandi.

What Anandi did for J was applaudable for a girl her age. That is why not only Bhairon but entire audience was with Anandi when Dsa brought Gudiya. But excessive glorification doesn't help.

She did what she could in that situation. For this there was no discussion back then except for praises of her bravery. Wonder why is it being scrutinized now?
