Empowerment is also not jumping into fire without thinking and getting burnt all over and crying for 12 long years and then waiting for others to find for you what you lost because of your selfishness. 🤢,,, people are working hard to find to fault with mangala when the real faulty one, anandi, is right before their eyes.

@pink - really? Anandi has got whatever she has with help of others - even setting up of Bhaili was helped by Shakhers and even the idea was given by them. SN - we have not seen how it was built - but given the track record - it must be Singhs and their help.

It was not Daddu who suggested.

Anandi found that Chanda was a victim of domestic abuse.

After that she was looking up the net and searching fro information on DV

She told Shiv about it and after that she went to Chanda's place to see what is happening and got police to threaten Chanda's husband

Anandi Shiv discussed Shiv was the one who told her that she can't do it on an individual basis but she should do this through an NGO then Shiv was the one who told her how she should get and NGO registered and how the name should reflect the work that she does and she came up with the name Bhaili.

Then she told the family there was a lot of discussion on this with Meenu Daddu and Alok supporting hre and Ira being sceptical about it.

Family never took initiative they are complacent upper class urban family happy in their own world.

They are the types who think by just donating money their duty ends.

Shiv was definitely the odd one out in that family.

When Mangala felt Enough is enough - she stepped up.

One, she gave away her devi mask and decided to fight strategically. Two, she decided to seek Vidhayak's help and asked him to back out from supporting Akhiraj. Three, she filed a case against Akhi.

Why should all the above not be seen as empowerment?

Empowerment does not mean one has to go from one villager to another to form a gang. Empowerment can also be gained while leading by example.

Kamli, Urmi and Mangala all empowered each other but M also took a bolder step to expose Akhiraj using the right channels. Hence leading by example.

Mangala stood up as an example of empowerment. But her weakness - Nimboli - has also turned her into an insecure / jealous woman. However, this insecurity doesn't uplift Anandi's doomed credibility.

Mangala is barely able to take care of her own self what do you expect of her now?

Kamli is a much stronger character. She fights her mother and father much better than what Mangala does. She supports pushkar and also supports Urmi. When Kamli realised Mangala was lying to her about Nimboli she was looking utterly disappointed and Mangala couldn't meet her in the eye. She is still dealing with insecurities and can't tolerate if the child kisses her mothers hand. Anandi can also get jealous if Nimboli calls Mangala as maa. But she's understanding the situation and trying to be patient.

Mangala has so many issues and you are expecting much more out of her. Anandi is a social worker and she has experience in fighting for people's rights. That's exactly what she's doing and Kamli is supporting that.

It's not possible for Kamli or Mangala to fight against Akhiraj alone. They need proper support and that support is Anandi. Even Anandi needs help of law and Jagya and the villagers. That's the way it always will be.

She wasn't waiting for right time. It just happened. She always knew Anandi and Jagya number. But she was worried they will take her away so she decided to be quiet and let Nimboli suffer at the cost of that.

If Jagya wouldn't have realised all this they would be still continuing to live in the same miserable state in Jhalra. Mangala would be forever waiting for justice all her life. If she even had slightest idea that Anandi was the mother she would've never revealed the truth to Jagya at all.

Yes, agree that Kamli is strong... I hope the villagers elect her as the sarpanch. I would love to see it.

But there is no need to compare her with mangala and say who is better among the two. They are a team and work together. It was kamli's idea that mangala run away with nimboli. She tried to make sense to her that it is mangala who deserves the child.

I hope kamli drills this into anandi's head. Mangala is weak before nimboli, but kamli is not. She can show anandi her place. So I am counting on Kamli now.👏

Whatever I write is based on what is shown in the serial... I dont have time to make assumptions and debate on assumptions.

You will find no ifs and buts in my posts... "jagya would have or anandi could have".. I have no time for this.

Why should Kamli show Anandi her whatever place you think it is? What is kamlis enmity with Anandi? Anandi is here to help Kamli and you want Kamli to treat her as competition and as an enemy. Kamli isn't foolish.

I'm happy Anandi is here with Kamli interacting with her. Kamli will know how Anandi is in real and will know whatever Mangala told her is a whole bunch of lies.

Your thoughts are admirable indeed.

Having said that you keep saying Mangala is a strong woman etc , can you please tell me some examples of her strength that they have shown so far other than Devi act. Devi act is not strength it is hiding behind the veil of Gods name and acting.
