The point that is being made is that neither Anandi nor Mangala have done what is right by the child. Both are equally responsible for the way the child's life turned out to be.

People keep on harping that the child is alive.But in what state is she in now?The story has moved on from there.

If Anandi's acts landed her at Akheraj's place Mangala's decision put her in line of danger from Kundan

Akheraj and Harki - there is no point in talking about them because nothing is expected from them.They are not humane towards that child.

Much is expected from Mangala only because she claims to care for that child and feels that she is that child's mother. Her decisions didn't make the girl's life any safer than Anandi's did.

It is just that child is unlucky.

Here Nandini doesn't even consider Mangala as her mother.So the question of chosing doesn't arise. But it is clear now Mangala will be a mill stone around Nandini's neck just like Dsa is a mill stone around Anandi's neck.

When a person pleads guilty, the judge usually reduces the sentence but the sentence wont be quashed.

Now that Mangala is pleading guilty, same thing may happen.

Anandi is not pleading guilty - neither in Shivam case nor in Nandini case. She sometimes remembers the girl though. She hides truths without any reason also. There was no need to hide so many truths from Shivam.

Shivam needed to know that he has a sister.

Rest of it as to how she lost the baby she is answerable ONLY to her daughter and no one else not even her son.

Talking about motherhood and maternal instincts

Mangala clearly said she saved the child because her maternal instincts woke up when she saw that baby and therefore she saved the baby. The sequence of her lines tell why she saved that child.

Mother saving kid - A woman like Harki threw herself in front of Akheraj's sword.She was willing to die for her daughter. So waht great thing that Mangala do when she went to save that child who she felt was her own child?

Just like Anandi has a lot to answer so does Mangala. This Mangala's topic is coming up with Anandi because one is mother to that child whilethe other claims to be the mother of that very same child.

For example? She did accept her mistake when she lost her daughter - but is she accepting now? No, otherwise she could have told Shivam that his sister was lost due to her mistake. Did she accept her mistake in DB case? Or so many other cases?

Actually, with strict scrutiny of Mangala's actions has made me more aware - what I was overlooking in Anandi's actions. Now I am judging Anandi with the same yardstick. Pity - this yardstick was not there before - and because of this lack of yardstick, a lot many people failed to judge this serial objectively.

I cannot hear dialogues - perhaps other members will help. But I clearly know that Mangala was not the mother when she saved the child. There is a lot of difference from being a mother and feeling maternal instinct - even animals feel these maternal instinct for unrelated species also - there are instances of animals raising human child. That does not mean the animals with maternal instinct are villain.

Absolutely. The serial against Bal Vivah actually glorifies BV by making the lead stay the longest time -- most of her life -- in her BV home.

As for accepting mistakes, did Anandi accept that she messed up Saanchi's case by slapping the boy and destroying critical evidence of rape?

Had Vivek not accidentally found the evidence, the case would have gone against her.

There are many such instances.

It is quite clear that people love to assume the worst when it comes to Anandi but when it comes to Mangala give enough and more excuses to support her behaviour and acts all on the basis of one fact she saved that girl.😛

When Anandi cannot have rights over the life she has saved and is not supposed to have soft corner for a life that she saved and when she sees him only as the little boy who almost died why is Mangala's attachment to that girl is supported and her selfishness is justified?

Anandi has exercised more than enough rights over Jagya as his child bride, then as his divorced wife, then as Shiv's wife and even now as Shiv's widow and as J's ex, in Ganga's presence.

Because of what little A did for J, child J walked over child G and chose his mentally ill wife.

So in other words, whatever A did for J, her graditude was returned by all BH wasis. She was praised for her sacrifice and timely actions of saving J unlike Mangala, who is being bashed for saving N.

A had rights on J till she was his wife but what rights did she have after she divorced him?

Didn't she force J for third marriage?

Didn't she come to support him for elections

Doesn't she keep advising a 40 year old married J on how to handle his married life?

Doesn't she time and again show up in his matters?

All the above examples show that Anandi, who once saved a teenager's life, still very much exercises her rights / soft corner etc on him.

By that standard, N is only 12, who needs to be guided and protected. Plus she still lives with M and no one has even come to claim her.

If Anandi can still exercise her rights on her 'khas' even when it is not needed than M is far right in doing so.
