@anshurg

You hit the nail on the head. The so-called boring sequence was only because Teesa was shown to rescue Nimboli.

I thought the scene was beautifully shot, directed and acted.

Actors playing Nimboli and Mangala and even Chagni were superlative in capturing the fear they felt.

And the relief and tears and hugs after she was pulled up was so well done.👏

I can imagine the gush fest here if by some chance Anandi had been passing that way and she had caught the falling child!!

(As an aside I was wondering if instead of pulling her up, Mangala couldn't have passed on enough of the dupatta length to let the child slowly slide down).

Urmi too was very convincing in being able to show at once her guilt and relief

Akhiraj and Kundan were as usual brilliant in their respective roles. Akhi's duplicity -- all smiles and polite while meeting Jagya and in his political role and a monster at home -- is stunning.

The newness today was Urmi finally realising that as a female in that household she will not be treated any differently from Nandini or even Harki. She was under an illusion so far that she could lord it over everyone. It is a very nice role and very realistic. It is a relief that she is not really gray or negative.

I hope she calls up her home, and her father threatens to expose Akhi before his voters.

That will be a way forward for the story.

If this is boring compared to seeing Anandi dressing up in different sarees everyday, I don't know what to say.

Actor playing Anandi had grown into a fine artiste with an ability to show subtle variations in emotions.. But somehow these days, especially post the costume change, I don't find her that expressive.

I have a feeling she is often not in the frame.

My POV.

Yeah, Wailing Urmi was good for drama but not for my ears. 😆 That too was getting repetitive.

And it is not just growing of Urmi, it can be start of a new bonding btw females of that house, better understanding of each other and where they stand. Story moved a bit forward.

It can not be always Akhiraj and his growing ambitions, few episodes can be given to a woman questioning wrongs of males of that house. That was some thing new to Akhiraj. If it was not for Urmi's father , he would have beaten her black and blue like he did with other women of that house.
He had to tone down his cruelty , not a bad start. 😛

But I thought Teesa was not a nice lady -- a coward who takes refuge in devi act and an upcoming road block in the meeting between mother and child.

So may be all the niceness being shown over and over will lead up to her refusing to part with the child.

In fact, I thought the way she hugged and kissed Nimboli today was an indication of what is to come.

@ Rohini,
I too liked Nandini, Teesa and Changni scene, it was beautifully enacted by all three actors. Rajeshwari is a seasoned actress so it was expected of her but little girl playing Nandini too brought out her fears and shaken state very well. ⭐️

Urmi too was good in showcasing her various emotions. The girl though young is doing a good job. Earlier too she did very well when was showing manhandled wife of Kundan. 👍🏼
-----------------
Btw I like to see Anandi and her new sarees also . After so much time makers have given her a decent makeover so it is very refreshing to see her in this new graceful avatar.

Btw it will do good for the actress also who is playing role of teenage children despite being very young. To stay in this glamour world one has to look good along with giving good performances. So no complain on that account. 😛

As for her recent acting , CVs are not giving her good and enough scene to show her talent. 😡

Of course she looks very very good. But does that make for a riveting story? In the acting department, Akhi gang is far, far ahead of BH.

May be because the tracks are not long or simply because she is bored -- can happen -- the actor kind of looks blank.

I was comparing this with her superb, understated yet powerful performance post Shiv's death.

That quality has gone missing. Hope when she finally meets Akhiraj, the emotions will be back.

Add: she was also excellent in the DB drug track.

Teesa is a nice lady not because she loves nimboli but because she is good at heart, she does no harm to anyone, neither through words nor actions.

And Harki is not a nice lady not because she does not love nimboli but because she is cruel and wicked. She was cruel even to her own daughter... It is just that she is helpless before her husband.

Urmi's act was good but I cant call her courageous yet, because whatever she is doing is out of her ignorance about that family... She may continue to raise her voice as long as she has her father's strong support.

Other 5 ladies do not have any support.

Thats how People tone down in life
remember how small anandi was ,she would question ds ,she was spontaneous but later she had to swallow and modify her behaviour according to ds ...may be those five ladies initially were like her but as per today s episode nobody dared to say those directly to akhiraj ever...i think it was really bold to say that in front of akhiraj ...that man coudnt believe ...he got dumb ...becoz it was truth ...someone dared to speak truth

She has not seen akhiraj killing people. This is the first time she saw him being rude to his wife ...She felt there was no harm in opening her mouth as at the most he would slap her. Then she knows she can use her weapon, her father, and the rest will be done by the father...she does not have to worry.

Urmi was good not because of the way she raised her voice against Akheraj but for the way she questioned Kundan for not standing up for his mother who loves and cares for him so much.
She has her fights with Kundan and she doesn't have much expectations from him. But she didn't like the way he was indifferent to his mother.

While raising her voice against Akheraj she just used her father's support which may or may not come.

She is the star of the episode. She really rose above her immature selfish bratty self.Whether she did it because of her father's support or because she did it because she is outraged by Kundan's silence.

She is learning the consequences of her defiant act.

Any ways we will soon know if her father will come in her support or not if he comes in her support how long that support will last.

If the support is not there we will have to wait and see whether she will be like Mangala who hides from the world and hides behind Devi ma mask when comes out Or whether she will be like Harki silently tolerates her husband's abuses and takes it out on weaker people.Or whether she will be like Nandini who fights even she loses she doesn;t give up.

Time will tell

But for today she is the star of the episode. Did what is so not expected of her given her self centered nature.

She is better than spineless people who talk about morals but think nothing of cheating in order to win a bet. It was only a small challenge. If the girl lost that challenge she would have found a way to challenge her souten and win .

People who crib about Anandi fans saying that they don't see beyond Anandi but here people don't seem to see beyond Nimboli even when today's episode is not about her but about Urmi.

According to this forum Mangala is a nice lady because she is nice to that little girl.Urmi is called grey because she is troubling that little girl. Harki is monster.
But people don't like to see that those three women are thrown into this house because of marriage and they have to survive by coping with these two monsters in the best way they can and failing spectacularly because they don't have it in them to change the world they live in.

Where is the famed neutrality?Unbiased observations?

Harki and Urmi don't find sympathy all because they are not nice to that girl
Mangala's short comings get brushed under carpet just because Oh she so loves that little girl.

Sometimes I wonder what would have happened to that little girl if she didn't awaken those maternal stirrings in that woman.

Urmi was the STAR of the episode today.⭐️
-----------------
Anandi just comes for two minutes on screen and she hasn't got any tracks post leap except for Nidhi;s track and trying to mediate between parents and children in various episodes
Except for Nidhi's case all the other efforts at mediating between parents and children have failed.

She had just a few scenes with Shivam from which we could see that she has done a great job on that boy who is secure and happy doesn't feel insecure because he doesn't have a father.
They are sacrificing Anandi's story to devote time to show scenes of Jhalra in great detail sometimes unnecessarily excessive detailing.
So why blame Anandi for what creative are doing with that character?
