Actually I missed that.

It is really taking things too far.

We need more episodes to confirm what is going on in ganga's mind.

This insecurity is because she married Jagya when his ex wives anandi and gauri are alive. At that time she did not think about these things cropping up. Her priority was somehow to get married to the prince charming. Now she realises that every rose comes with a thorn imaginary or real. She would not have imagined that anandi will be widowed and start living in Jaitsar.

What did Anandi do to contribute to her insecurity? Did Anandi try and get close to Jagya ? Did she try to take her place in BH?

Anandi was neither interested in Jagya nor did she want a place in BH

So why did Anandi become a thorn in her flesh and felt that she needs to beat her in some competition?

Who or what is the reason behind her insecurity and her perceving Anandi as a thorn in her great rose called Jagya?

Anandi herself admitted that she got to know the meaning of love marriage and husband only after meeting Shiv.That should tell Ganga what Anandi thought of her married life with Jagya and Jagya as husband material. Ganga knew that Anandi is not even interested in Jagya according to her own admission.

So what is it that is making Ganga react this way?

Insecurity is because she tried to mould herself into a person that would be acceptable to the BH folk. Making "adrak ki chai" like Anandi and getting appreciated for it. Pressing DadiSa's feet, putting oil, massaging, doing this that and the other.

It is possible that had there been no Anandi in BH life earlier, and if she would have done these things she would have been praised for herself and made a place for herself. But here everything she did from day 1 was being compared to Anandi.

Initially she kind of liked it because it meant acceptance in a house that was not her own. But later Anandi's very name can rouse irritation.

Initially it was long-distance comparison and later Anandi was just there. And she felt she had to measure up to her in everything. Day-in and day-out, it can get tiring to say the least...😆

I feel neither DS nor Jagya is responsible for making her insecure

Its her own nature somewhere coming from most harsh background jump into such fairy tale world... both world total contrast

Anyone would be feels insecure to loose all one day ... one fine day wakes up dream shattered type...

just like Mannu's case she was hell bent not reveal truth ...she was so adamant ... scare or fear of loosing Mannu ... instead off facing those consequence she try to run away ...

when she runs away from Ratan's house along with Mannu that time she was uneducated no place to go... even after being Nurse to Dr having supportive husband his family still she try to run away ..not in action wise but facing problem ...so her basic nature remain same

It can get tiring when you don't like something. But ganga used to like those comparisons. She used to blush! So if that was a genuine blush, she shouldn't get tired of it ever . she was irritated at those comparisons so much that she called her life saviour+fund raiser+husband a two timer! Let alone getting tired, she was repulsed at that comparison 5 years ago itself. Which means she never actually enjoyed those comparisons...which means she was acting...so much hard work to get married to that twice married prince charming.

If ganga has insecurities just because J's ex wives are alive (inspite of J marrying her legally and giving her all sorts of assurances...allowing his ex wives at his home only after taking her permission), then i'm beginning to understand Gauri's insecurities .

So what if Ganga used to like those comparisons? How old was she at that time ? How was she treated at Ratan's ? Like a human being or worthless creature who do not even deserve to live ? So what if she used to blush ? For the first time someone started to recognize her as a person who is worthy of praise. Of course she was happy. But Since then, how much she herself has achieved in her life? Why she cannot run the race of life at her own pace without comparison with Anandi ? What is it that Anandi has made more and better than Ganga? A cup of tea?

It seems only Ganga has no right to her own personality, to be unique, to be memorable, to be proud. She has to be compared with Anandi, she has to enjoy in it , she has to blush, otherwise she never been genuine . Really ?

Those who like to be constantly compared with other persons be the first to raise their hands.

She liked those comparisons in the begining that made her feel better then after a certain point she didn't like them any more.Then why did she not tell them that she didn;t like them any more that she would like it if they appreciated her for herself and not in comparison with some one.

If she had been open about her feelings on comparisons they would have been careful.

What fault is Anandi's if Singhs compare Ganga with Anandi?

Ganga should have told them after they were married that she doesn't liek comparisons or told them nicely that she can;t be another Anandi for them but she would try to be as good as Ganga can be.

Why did she not tell them that?

Then why direct her resentment to comparisons towards Anandi?

I dont remember Anandi entering into any competition.

What was it that Ganga lost to Anandi? The challenge that which mother will reveal what to her child? Was it a challenge btw? I thought Ganga was just inferring that no parent should involve in other parent / child's matter, by using that as an example.

So when did this become a challenge that was to be lost or won?

Or is it something else that Ganga lost?

Come to think of it, Ganga has everything in bigger and better amounts than what Anandi has right now.

Ganga lives in her own sasural (home) with respect and dignity while Anandi has lost her sasural walas (her home) and was almost living like a refugee.

Ganga had the opportunity to raise both her kids in front of her eyes, and give them a secured future. Anandi has 3 kids but one is back to his bio parents, one lived like a refugee and the other one is subject to brutal torture always.

Ganga has the love, trust and support of her husband, Anandi doesn't even have her husband anymore.

Ganga is almost the woman of the house, Anandi has lost everything that can give her rights to be the woman of any house.

Ganga was suffocated with A's presence and finally A is out of picture (which I personally believe was the right thing to happen to both A and G and J too)

Despite all this, does Anandi still have anything over and above Ganga, that Ganga is afraid of losing to Anandi?
