When his parents sent that girl back to her parents and didn't allow him to see her she had no problems obeying them but this boy used to visit her village just to catch a glimpse of the girl who was thopofied on him .
He couldn't wait to consummate the marriage with the wife who was thopofied on him.This same marriage which he disregarded later on. Only he suffered the forced marriage Anandi didn't suffer at all
May be her suffering were not visible to him or may be he thought she was having a great time being married to him while he was suffering
