Does this mean if the girl does not become widow or did not suffer torture - then bal-vivah is good? In Nandini's case - she has to be nurtured for years before they can show any torture. At present - she can't even eat food independently - so unless they show wife of Akhera Singh caring for her - the story cannot be believed. And the girl will develop affection towards the woman she sees as her mother and will imbibe her mother-in-law's values. Otherwise, it will be better if they show that they hired a dhay ma to care for Anandi and from her she learns good values and she is not like her parents-in-law.

Personally, I do want somewhat role-reversal of Anandi-Jagya. Nimboli may not be the pampered brat, but get upper hand like Jagya used to made Anandi do her homework etc.

That will be unrealistic because here the bridegroom is minimum 5-6 yrs older than Nandini. She bossing him will be unbelievable. Also considering the kind of ppl shown as her saasre wale. They seem more rural and old fashioned than even DS. How will they let her have so much freedom. I'm amazed that she is even shown so much bubbly in the promo. And how she supposed to get sympathy if she is not suffering any thing😆.
Maybe CVs can use their creative liberties here😆

Bal Vivah is best for a girl...CV have already prove tht
Anandi married at a young age so she got lots of time to establish a strong relationship with Singhs
Same cannot be said about her mature marriage...look what she received from that...she lost her status as sarpanch, got monster-in law like Ira, brat like Saanchi an fickle minded in-laws like whole Shekhars. they left her at time of trouble because they didn't get time to nurture their relation with Anandi like Singhs did
Her balak var got a long life but her mature husband left her forever...at least her balak var returned back to her help.
today thanks to bal vivah anandi has got support system like Singhs. So Bal vivah is good...it gives enough time for non-blood based relations to grow strong
God did a favor on Nandini...study is not tht big issue...she can do tht later when her husband leaves her or dies...it the relationships which we create that matter the most and luckily only bal vivah gives the time relation with in-laws need to make it strong
Bal vivah is like AnSh's marriage... done under pressure and a difficult path to walk on but the end results are worth it 👏

They want their new balika vadhu to be a copy of Anandi that is why they made her Anandi's daughter.

Anandi was a beautiful creation of creatives, which they have destroyed beyond repair.

It is already becoming hard to tolerate existing Anandi; to bear with another one (Nimboli) sounds far-fetched.

Agree with Puja, that repetition of story is never interesting.

I am seriously hoping, that after so much of protest, makers understand that they are ruining their own show, and come up with something sensible for their protagonist.

If they just plan to highlight the plight of children who are forced into marriage not necessary to show Anandi's daughter as a balika vadhu or a copy of the same character again.

Sure, Anandi stands out in few ways but she is a huge let-down in other aspects. She hasn't got that balance.

It's really stupid move to make Nandini go through the same thing that Anandi went through.
What is worse is the way they went about doing it.
If they wanted to stick to the theme of empowering women in rural set up they should have never moved Anandi Shiv out of Jaitser. Then they could have shown Anandi Shiv working in that area of empowerment of women in various ways.
Anandi Shiv story started to sink when they moved them into Udaipur and decided to make a family drama in order to justify the enormous cast they have taken as Shiv's family. Since that family as individual characters didn't strike cord with the viewers they just made Shekhar family members into problems to be solved by Anandi and Shiv.In the process they just killed the essence of the show.
Now in their effort to ge back to what thye have started with - they came up with the most unconvincing story of making Nandini a child bride.
As I have said before I may watch it for Anandi and it probably will end with Anandi's journey for me simply because I am not interested in Nandini's story.
But there may be people who could be interested in watching gen next story - Fine if they want to build Nandini's character and make her into another Anandi - then why not put her in a different circumstances?Say for instance fighting gender discrimination by the family which adopted her?
Or even if they wanted child marriage why not get her married off by her adoptive parents who stole her?
All this kidnap drama and the way it is done just to ensure that Anandi is filled with guilt and will never be at peace until the child is found even if she is found she will never be able to forget how and why it has happened
Just to ensure that Anandi's life is filled with grief and misery and ensuring they have a Balika Vadhu for Ver 2.0? 0.3 they came up with such a lousy story and how do they expect it to work when the basis on which the story is being laid out is so shaky and unconvincing??

From my experience of watching daily soaps, particularly after the long lasting K-Series Saga started, I have come to some conclusions:

- The show must be always revolve around the central characters from start to end to keep viewers interested. Side characters and short stories are always welcomed, provided their stories are single-tracked and short lived.

- Every misery faced by the protagonist has to have a happy end eventually. We cannot have an unending misery and neither do we like illogical twists. Otherwise it becomes boring, torturous and non-entertaining.

- Leaps are boring. As soon as the second generation takes the fore front, the central characters are forced to take back seats, and the fizz is out of the show.

Same is the case with BV. It was a unique show till Anandi got married to Shiv. Then after it started developing into family drama, which wasn't as gripping as the show until 2012. However, in our interest to see how both Jagya and Anandi deal with their lives post AnSh, we kept hooked onto it with diminishing interest.

But makers finally took the K-series route and spoiled for themselves.

They have given unending miseries to Anandi in the most illogical way. Leap is introduced and focus will shift to gen 2, which is not exciting and worst of all, they have brought Jagya and Anandi under the same roof once again.

-----

No amount of Bal Vivah (whether Nandini's or some other child), would have re-gained viewers interest. We have been through enough Bal vivah stories in the same show and therefore we needed a fresh concept or just a happy end. Makers could not give us either.

Instead they destroyed all their creation so far, by ruining Anandi's character.

Even though we were shattered to see Anandi Shiv love story ending in such a tragic way we were prepared to see Anandi's next phase in life as a single mother social worker balancing her responsibilities as well facing the challenges of parenthood and as well challenges in her professional life all on her own .
That itself would have created enough and more drama for Anandi even if they shifted Shekras out of the scene they could have showed Dsa providing her guidance since she herself has been a single mother.
Why bring in this kidnap child marriage drama which is so unnecessary when they already had a strong story of single mother who is a fiery social activist? Won't that provide enough drama for them to give steady TRPs?

I agree with misesha here with her most points. This show was unique till Ansh marriage, later it started going downhill.Later on nothing worked. It wasn't like before.

But my views differ with respect leap. I believe leap brings freshness, innitialy it interests you and most imp central characters should involve. Here Anandi being nandini s mother will always involve. Like promo scenes. Currently SNS after leap has got highest trps. So we never know what happens in bv.

Central characters involvement is a must.

Now Anandi s stay in BH is illogical but if cvs utilize this angle in right way it can work for the show. I m not saying create bad women v/s good women but even good women can have a problem with each other. And currently it BH who needs Anandi s support becoz Ganga is going for education, Anandi will take care of BH. If they are able to showcase realistic situations in BH between Ganga, jagya and anandi and make nandini story interesting. Then this can work for bv. It all depends on presentation.
