I said that is her personal decision and this particular article has no relevance with this Forum..

As for being misquoted in what manner she quoted this sentence jest, sarcasm or serious , the manner of speech and particular words make a whole lot of difference to the same statement.

I have heard many youngsters saying same words in frustration and then on voting day going and casting their vote and again I have heard many telling others to vote and then abstain from voting themselves and enjoy voting day as holiday..

So if newspapers only quote celebrities and keep mum about their actions then i for one does not believe in these type of articles.

And i am writing this based on my experience of working in News channels.

Very truly said charu for don't know how long almost all the news are paid news it is an open secrete. One more thing I want to mention that the actress in question has not casted her vote since she got her voter ID card four years back and the last general elections were conducted during March-April 2009 i.e. 5 years back. Now she is only 22 years. I can understand in what way TOI might misquoted her reactions and projected before public.

Prat baby how come only voting day is yr holiday sweetheart...your every day is holiday?...no work... Some ppl think u r hard working but how can it possiable when u r hardly working... 😉

Do not know if Times of India presented true news of misquoted or whether this is a paid news, but it is a fact that assembly elections were held in Jharkhand during end of November - mid December 2009 - and again Lok Sabha by- election in Jamshedpur was held in 2011.
