I can see a reason, in Sjee not getting very excited as Ajee at the moment.

She is right now, getting very emotionally attached at the prospect of mothering that kid. She is not thinking about possible practical difficulties.

and Sjee is just being calm, away from bigger emotions., some body has to be strong to face any un foreseen circumstances. If he too start feeling the same emotions as his wife, there will be no body to be a support for her.

I feel., he is just balancing it out at the moment.

Once the kid arrives in their family, we may get to see a doting father...😊

They need to show whether he is ready to father the child or not. I agree when they both saw Amol there was some connection. Its not about excitement that I feel is missing. I get Anandi's excitement and Shiv need not be as excited as Anandi but they haven't really shown why Shiv wants to adopt over having a own child. He agreed only for Anandi.. It is a big thing going for adoption the first time itself without any problems. He must have dreams of himself about being a father like he said he had dreams of his first night ?😉😆 In some instances it does come out as if Shiv is ready to adopt only for Anandi and not for himself. He was the one yapping about wanting to have kids. At that time it did mean having kids of their own..
