What Ira Alok and Meenu went through was very understandable but how they reacted to this situation is what is debatable.
SITUATIONS LIKE THIS MAKE PEOPLE REACT IN SO MANY WAYS...NOT ALWAYS WHAT WE MAY DO...VERY DIFFICULT TO HAVE A SET ANSWER...I THINK
Ira in her eagerness and concern for Meenu she was careless about her self. TRUE...BUT I GUESS CONCERN FOR SOMEONE YOU LOVE DOES OVERRIDE THE LOGICAL REACTION.
Meenu in her moments of distress completely forgot that Ira's state is much more vulnerable than hers.
LABOUR...FIRST CHILD...THESE ARE SCARY AND YOU WANT ALL THE SUPPORT YOU CAN GET...YOU ARE SO CAUGHT UP IN YOUR OWN STATE THAT THINKING ABOUT OTHERS DOES NOT STRIKE YOU
Alok was helpless and worried about his wife and how she would take this third time loss. AGREED
Alok's actions cannot be justified ..YES...ASKING ANOTHER TO GIVE UP HER CHILD EVEN OUT OF WORRY IS A BIT EXTREME.
Meenu's action is very questionable

And it was wrong on their part to hide all this from Ira for so many years.
THAT I AGREE...BECAUSE SHIV REALLY HAD TWO MOTHERS WHO LOVED HIM...SO WHY THE SECRECY...
BUT SHIV IS SENSIBLE...HE WILL GET OVER THE HURT AND SHOCK AND EVENTUALLY REALISE THE SACRIFICE/REASONING...HOPEFULLY
Alok Ira and Meenu have to do a lot of introspection.
AGREED...SECRETS HAVE A WAY OF COMING OUT TO BITE YOU IN THE ...WHEN YOU LEAST EXPECT IT.
