She is not doing any mahanta🤢 she is doing it for her kid
I would have agreed if she were alone and would not have a purpose to live.
We have a real life case of Smita Patil who still bore a kid knowing that she may not be able to live after that.
But here she has a family and a kid already who needs her. Just because BH people have assured that they will take care of Mannu that doesn't mean she can conveniently die.
A child definitely needs a mother and just giving birth doesn't mean you have been a good mother.
I know mothers have sentiments attached to their kids but being practical is also important here.
Consider a case where a mother is HIV positive, or parents are both thalassemia minor or haemophila minor.
Would it still be justified to keep the child and give it a horrible future ahead?
And can this be guaranteed that a weak mother like Ganga would be able to produce a healthy offspring? We must have seen UNICEF awareness programs featuring Aamir Khan where it is mandatory for the mother to be healthy to have a healthy child.
Its becoming dangerous day by day to take this show seriously.
I hope the ladies of rural India don't take this message seriously and go about risking lives just to serve the purpose of keeping their family running by producing offsprings.
