Guys, m new to the bv forum. I like sanchi's character and wish to modify it a little thru this small attempt. So please bear it up with me.

I am starting a new SS on sanchi and shekhar family relationship after anandi and shiv's marriage.

Chapter One!

Things were quite new for both anandi and sanchi. Anandi was happy that entire shekhar family welcomed her. But she was little doubtful about sanchi. Sanchi was the youngest child, a pampered daughter and most adored child of the household. Papa, mom and daddu always thought the world of her. Both brothers and choti maa always held her before everyone and everything else. Anandi wanted to be close to sanchi. She wanted her sis in-law to accept her just like the entire family did. So she decided to get to know sanchi a little more closely.

One day, sanchi and both mothers were sitting on the sofa. Nathu and other cooks had prepared pakoras, samosa and chutney along with some besan ke laddoo which was sanchi's fav. dessert. Choti maa asked sanchi casually while eating, "Sanchi beta, tum apni studies kab khatam karogi?" Sanchi replied, "6 month mei choti maa. Just then Alok, shiv and dadu came there with mahi. All of them called out to anandi and everyone started enjoying snacks, they were having a gala time with each other. But alok seemed to be in deep thought. Mahi asked him, "Kya hua bade papa, aap pareshan lag rahe ho?"

Alok said, "kuch nai beta. Mai to bas shiv ke bare mei soch raha thaa. Kitna lucky hai shiv ki isko anandi jaisi ladki mil gayi." Everyone smiled to hear that, sanchi pricked up her ears. She thought, "Bhabi achhi to hai, no doubt, par kya wo sab ko jitni simple lagti hai, sach mei itni hi simple hai?" She decided to play along a little. Clearing her throat, sanchi said, "Papa, dadu, shiv bhaiya ke college ke kuch friends aaj shaam ko dinner karne aana chahte the. Unka phone aaya tha, maine kaha ki aap aur bhaiya hi decide karenge. Un logo ka abi bi phone baj raha hai. Aap kya kahoge shiv bhaiya?"

Shiv simply smiled and said, he wud not invite his frenz so soon. He needed little time for that. Saanchi guessed that he was uncomfortable and kept quite. She did not want to bother her brother about anything. She continued eating.

In the evening before dinner time, sanchi was standing in her room's balcony, talking to her friend on the phone. Just then, mahi called out to her for dinner and she went out after cutting the call. All were eating while having funny chats. Alok asked sanchi casually, "Sanchi, tum is saal vacation mei kya kar rai ho?" Saanchi said, "Ek multi-national firm trainee hire kar rai hai papa. Ho sakta hai, mai bi interview de kar phir job kar lungi. After all, M.B.A ki degree kaam to aani chaiye na."

Alok nodded his head and continued, "Acha beta, ye batao, aaj ki matar-paneer kaisi bani hai?" Saanchi tasted a spoonful and said, "Wow, itni tasty sabji to maine pehle kabhi nai khayi. Sirf chote paa, ( Mahi's Dad, shiv-saanchi's chachu) itni achi banaya karte thae. Mom, aaj aap ne usi recipe ko banaya?" Saanchi was really happy.

Ira said, "Nai beta, aaj ki sabji teri bhabhi ne banai hai. Apni first rasoi ke liye. Ab tum ne uski gift decide karni hai." SAanchi was delighted to hear and said, "Fir to bhabhi ko ek diamond ki ring ya phir achi si necklace milni chaiye. Kyu, hai na dadu?" Dadu laughed on hearing that and gifted a nice daimond necklace to anandi while having ice-cream.

Alok said, "Anandi beta, tum itni achhi cooking kar leti ho, ki ab nathu ke hath ka khana bi phika sa lag raha hai. Ab se tum jab kabhi koi dish banaogi na, to sanchi ko bhi apne saath hi rakhna kitchen mei. Lage haath ye bi hodi cooking seekh legi, to agle 2-4 saalo baad iski shadi ke time par zyada dikkat nai hogi isko." Alok finished with a smile. But saanchi was furious to hear it. She could not believe her ears. Papa knew very well she hated cooking and housework, still he said that! She had to say something against it and at that very moment.

Saanchi looked directly at her father and retorted, "Papa, aap achi tara se jante hai, ki muje ye rasoi aur ghar ke kaa mei interest nai hai. Anandi bhabi isi liye karti hai, kyon ki she likes to do it. Par muje ye sab acha nai lagta. Moreover, mai apni M.B.A ki degree ko heavy kapde aur jewellery pehenkar, kitchen ki heat mei melt nai karne wali." Finishing her words, saanchi left to her room, while everyone stared at her back, somewhat surprised.
