All those listed qualities are I expect from him.They are not extraordinary qualities.

They are expected of him because of the upbringing he received the privileged life he had the opportunities life has given him a secure childhood where he was indulged and pampered by parents dadu and CM all the good schools he went and the privileged life style he had.In short life has given him so much.When much is given to you much is expected from you.

He turned out to be as expected nothing extraordinary about him till he met Anandi.

His extraordinariness comes from the fact that he recognised the extraordinariness of Anandi who did not have even receive even one tenth of what he got from life and yet she had so much to give to the world.For all the pain she got from life she only wanted to pay back in spreading happiness and cheer in the lives of others.Jagya knew about Anandi and despised her for these qualities because he felt small next to her Shiv recognised those same qualities in her and respected her and wanted to be recipient of that love she had.He was willing to wait a life time to receive that love from her, the same love Jagya had so callously rejected.This is one and only quality of Shivji that makes him rock as far as I am concerned.He rocks because he loves Anandi the way she is and respects her what she is and what she made of herself

He is a very intelligent man in all probabilities he had a very distinguished and brilliant track record in academics and probably must have excelled in sports too.Although it was not shown in the show considering that he has gotten into IAS and has a masters in business from western world it is safe to conclude that he is a very intelligent man.He rose to prominence and

He is very efficient in his work.That probably was the reason that CM of Rajasthan has chosen him to be the inaugural DC of the newly formed district of Jaitser. Even before he entered Jaitser he made sure he learnt something about that place and is aware of the good works done by the Sarpanch of Jaitser.He proved his efficiency by getting to work straight away after he joined work.He used to his office to accelerate the good works started by the Sarpanch.

He listens to everybody and respects everybody's opinion irrespective of the fact that he agrees with it or not.He treats everybody with same respect whether they may be illiterate villagers or influential politicians.During the nehar project when villagers objected to the plan he did not stop them from expressing their views even f he lost his temper he listened to their views and with help from Anandi he made them see his point of view.Most recent example for the first time his wife disagreed with him he found it very painful and he thought she was wrong in her opinion but still respected her.

He is very open minded.Though he knows his work well he is open to ideas and if his colleagues or people come up with an idea that is better than his he has no problems in taking up that idea.When he ha a meeting with Anandi and the villagers regarding the plan for the nehar when Anandi came up with a better idea for it he immediately got the engineer to redraw the plans according to Anandi's idea.

He is very astute and doesn't form opinions regarding people without knowing anything about them.When he came to Jaitser he heard a lot f things about Anandi both good things and bad things but he did not let any of those things to influence his mind instead he formed his own opinion of her based on his own observations of her.And believed only what his logic and mind told him to believe when somebody came up with some story other about ehr.

He fought against the age old customs like child marriage ill treatment of widows when ever he came across those situations.As a collector of Jaitser he used his office to fight against those customs.he made rules like age of the bride and groom to be mentioned on the wedding card etc.He fought against child marriages Jyothi's wedding is good example where he used the govt machinery to see that those responsible for the wedding were punished.

He stood up for women and empowerment of women.He used his office to help women.Be it grant for Anandi's school rescuing Ganga using his office to hasten the process to help Ganga made sure Ratan Singh was put away behind bars and hasten the process by using his office.

He did try to help Ganga tried to get her child back to her and tried to catch Ratan who was escaping from the law twice.It was his inherent quality to stand up for women made him go out of his way to help Ganga.

Despite being good looking and women finding him attractive he never took advantage of his looks.He knew that Ashima was attracted to him but never gave encouragement to her because he knew she has dreams which are very different from his own.But all this did not prevent him from maintaining his good relationship with her.He does not chase women just because he finds them attractive.In his own words he felt very attracted to her the first time he saw Anandi but he took time to get to know her and her qualities before giving into his attraction and feelings for her.For him it is just not looks of a woman that is important.But she as a person is important before he established a relationship with her.He finally fell for Anandi because her inner beauty matched with the exterior.

He is an honest man who gives his everything to all his relationships.Be it as a son or a brother or a husband.He puts his relationships above himself and his own pleasures and happiness.He is always there for his family members in the hour of their need.In fact he is defined by his relationships.What he thinks doesn't matter but for him only the needs and desires of his loved ones matter.Be it his sister who wanted somebody totally unsuitable as a husband or his wife who needed space or a mother who demanded loyalty from him his thoughts and feelings did ot matter to him only the needs of his loved ones mattered to him.

Of course there are some qualities which are not very desirable too like his inability to play multiple roles of husband brother and son simultaneously without compromising any of those roles.Which did cause a lot of distress to his loved ones.And he has his blind spots too like his inability to see that his sister is vindictive in nature and her selfishness beyond acceptable limits.

To summarise Shiv is someone who is made in the same mould as Anandi and loves Anandi like the way she deserves to be loved.

Anandi is the best part of Shiv

He is made for Anandi and he is ideal for Anandi and only Anandi deserves to have a man like Shiv. Rest of the women who folk can only dream about him and if they want someone like Shiv they should make sure they are like Anandi in some way.Because it is only likes of Anandi who can make the hearts of men like Shiv beat faster.Keep dreaming because Shiv is just for Anandi and Anandi alone.😃

If Anandi does something right it is regarded with so much cynicism saying she is doing because she is trying to be a mahaan.If Shiv does it he will be applauded.

This is called blinkered vision.

The only thing special about Shivji is he is Anandi's pathi.He is made for her that's why he is special and more importantly the most beautiful thing about Shiv is he is a fan of Anandi

And more importantly Anandi is the RIGHT WOMAN for Shiv.Nothing will change that if Anandi had not been so called Mahan Shiv would not have fallen for her

@bold Anandi is also self less compassionate and unprejudiced too.

All the qualities which are present in Shiv are presnt in Anandi and they are all the more special because from the age of eight she has had so many things taken away from her and despite all that she only gave in return and never ever took away anything.That's why she is extraordinary a character worthy of admiration by the viewers and Shiv's devotion and love too.
