In the night at badi haveli.bharion,anandi and ganga were sitting in the and even sumitra joined them."sumitra...tomorrow i have to go early..tomorrow the new collector is going to take charge and we have his welcoming ceremony." sumitra nodded her head.
"pappa..can go along with you?"anandi asked."yes pappa please.."ganga also asked.bhairon looked at sumitra."take them along."she told."ok..but you both of you have to get up early if you want to come with me."he told.both of them smiled.
the next morning the three of them left. bhairon got busy.ganga and anandi sat down and waited for the ceremony to start.after sometime the ceremony started.people started to give speech anandi was getting bored.she was looking that side and this side. suddenly her eyes fell on shiv."what is he doing here?"she taught looking at him."so i wold call mr.shivraj shekhar to speak a few words."he came on the stage."i being the collector..."he started. anandi was shocked. "collector.. .."she mumbled."what happened didi?"ganga asked."he is the collector..."anandi told."so...""i had a fight with him..."she told. ganga just looked at her."didi if pappa comes to know about this he will..."before ganga could complete."no...if pappa comes to know i am dead."she told.
"didi..why don't you ask him sorry."ganga told."thats the only thing i can do...but you will go along with me tomorrow.."she told ganga."but why should i come?"ganga asked."because i don't want to go alone...and you are going along with me and thats final."anandi told.
the next day anandi and ganga went to the collector's office.anandi saw shiv sitting and doing some work and he looked serious."didi why don't you go alone ..."ganga told anandi.anandi looked at her and pulled her along with her."came i come in..?"anandi asked.shiv din't look at her and just told her to come in.
then shiv looked at her."what are you doing here?"he asked."see..i din't know that you were the collector and behaved rudely to you...so i am sorry."anandi told.and was about to go."wait.."he told.she turned back."if i was not the collector would have asked sorry?"he asked."yes i would have.. but if it was you shi...shivra..whatever your name is...i would have never.."anandi told."didi relax..lets go home."ganga took her out."wired.." shiv taught and smiled.
