Anandi is a very traditional girl, She got married at the tender age of eight and since then , infact before that it has been inculcated in her mind that this person and her sasra is everything in her life, Accordingly she moulded herself and accepted that. Little Jagya used to stand for her also, They shared a wonderful bond and slowly developed the relationship of Husband wife.
As she told she used to worship him like an idol in the temple but Jagya when grew up , after having some wonderful times also very badly broke her heart.
He not only left her, he mutilated her self esteem, her confidence very cruelly.
Anandi is very soft at heart , She cant see anyone in pain but at the same time she is very strong within, can standup for injustice, and has very high self respect. When Jagya came to BH she wanted to leave immediately but DS had a heart attack as she wanted her to stay back and she had to stay back,
She told Gouri very clearly that if she would have been in her place she would never try to do what she did with her, after all Jagya was her husband.
Gouri used to scream / shout /insult her, She ignored her royally only given her back when it was necessary . It needs a person to be very strong , level headed within to be like that.
Her relationshi with Singhs is not just due to Jagya. It has grown only strong after he left his responsibility and she has taken that. They have became her family truely.
Remember when DS divided property Anandi, Jagya and Suguna got equally.
She told Jagya, in her wildest dream also she will never think of accepting him back as she considers him as paraya pati unlike Gouri. That is what self respect is.
After that Shiv came, He was so like her, He handled her with so much of love, care, understanding. Never let her fall even in toughest time, Always stood by her. He understands her so much that only with her she can behave normally.
She used to show him her anger, frustration everything because unconciously she used to find herself close with him and its our nature we show our anger only to those person who we love.
Shiv was never insecure about his love unlike Gouri and slowly he could replace all her old bitter memories with sweet ones.
He could see how strong Anandi is, even in this pain she hardly remembered Jagya's bad behaviour , but only the sweet memories and made herself more and more strong.
First she used to get scared to come close to him as she used to think that it would be unfair with Shiv to get involved physically without getting involved emotionally , But Shiv is so patient that his trust is never shaken and Anandi proved it in Holi , even in drunken state she took Shiv's name
Shiv knows once Anandi committed she will do everything for him and he knows her so well. They are so secure in their love, She knows he is her soulmate.
She told Shiv several times, Jagya for him is just another family member in Singh family, nothing more than that and Shiv knows what Anandi says she mean it.
So when she is so happy and contented with her soulmate why whom Jagya is going to settle will bother her.
When she was his husband she has tolerated everything even staying of Jagya -Gouri in haveli, their taunts , when those could help her grow so strong why now she will be bothered when he is just her friend.
