It's been quite a ride for Jagya and the transformation I am witnessing now is so fantastic. This Jagya that I now see is far more sincere and worthy of a second chance then the one who first started his redemption which seemed insincere.

I once thought I would never forgive him. I am, however, having second thoughts now.

I remember the Jagya who was always self absorbed, non committal and basically a brat, a MCP !

He never commit to his marriage to Anandi. He never truly supported her education for fear that he would be upstaged. He shirked his responsibilities as a son.

He never really commit to his relationship with Gauri either, nor did he support her and her career successes.

He never committed to his own education (ms studies) or his work.

He always ran away from issues or lied his way out of them.

Today I see a Jagya who is improved, transformed even. His committment to the cause that is Ganga and Mannu is truly praiseworthy.

Some may say, give Ganga some money and send her on her way. Or give her some food and shelter (read Ashram) and be done with it.

For some it could be all or nothing. Go big or go home (as in help a whole town as opposed to one person or don't help anyone at all). For others it may be ok to fling their money around without giving an ounce of their time. Everyone has their own school of thought when it comes to doing social good.

It reminds me of the saying, 'Give a man a fish, you feed him for today. Teach a man to fish, you feed him for life'.

Jagya is doing this for Ganga and Mannu. Yeah, sure any NGO could also do the same for Ganga, but Jagay has now committed himself And taken up the responsibility. He shows no sign of leaving the job half done or palming it off to an NGO. Now THAT is commendable.

Why ridicule a person who is earnestly trying to help someone? Why sully the purity of the task? Helping one person can and does make a difference. Jagya may not be in Anandi's league (uplifting the lives of a whole town) but even she had to start somewhere. Nobody automatically reaches the top in their own personal 'spiritual' (as in helping others) quest.

Every small act of kindness makes a difference! Jagya is making that difference!

I agree with- "Every small act of kindness makes a difference! Jagya is making that difference!"

But to make it more dramatic, creatives made him shout at her mother, ignoring her DS and tausa etc. That is not a truly redeemed person. A truly redeemed person would have accepted his elders point of view also and in no way insulted his own mother. Another thing is creatives have decided to marry off Jagya with Ganga (a lot of scenes have already been shown like eye-locks, near kiss etc. and Ganga already is in love with him, though not expressed), even though so far, his intentions are just to help her. So, it somehow creates less impact compared to helping someone without anything in return. Critics can say that he is just grooming his would be wife and insulting her mother for her.

Did Jagya really insult his mother? He was angry and shouted at her. The family was wrong to let Ganga leave with the child , in the night.

At the end of the day its a fictional show.We can't see jagya sulking and getting punished for years.Jagya is the only hero in the history of indian television who was completely turned to a negative one.Its enough to show a character stooping so low.People who are denanding gauri once upon a time used to wish when this girl will leave just people wish for sanchi.

So I have to say to show anandi mahan and to get sympathy for anandi they brought gauri and get jagya married to gauri. To show someone better than jagya they created shiv character. To get acceptance for shiv character they destroyed jagya character fully. To show how mahan anandi is they always brought other characters and creates problem for them so that anandi can solve it.Are these things agreeable!

Their is a limit to search negativity in everything.Jagya is helping ganga, ganga has fall in love with her benefactor, what is so wrong in it!
Is it something unique and a great quality to disagree with lots of people.Saying that people like whatever their favourite actor does!Sumitra is right, sanchi is alright but just to show ganga white they make sanchi black, just to gain sympathy for ganga sumitra is getting all the blames, gauri was not that bad so jagya should apologize but will not mention that gauri has done nothing to get apolozy baas gauri utni bhi buri nehi thi.Cvs jin characters ko negative light mein dikharahe hai unko samajh neki koushish dilo jaanse karna but jo positive side main hai unko mock karna, whats all this!Is it true just to show how bechari is anandi they make jagya and gauri bad!Jagya gauri sanchi ira sumi was /is doing wrong. So they are getting bashed.Cvs are showing them in a bad light so they are getting bashed.Jo cvs nehin dikharahe hai uspar depend karke ek character ko bash karna, whats all this.Sumi's behaviour is understandable but jagya, anandi, bhairon are not behaving rightly.Sumi ko samajhne ki itni koushish but jagya, anandi, bhairon especially ganga ko doshi thehrana,is it a new trend!

Every show has a hero and a heroin and that hero heroin has to be special. If people would have liked to watch just a message giving show the concept of hero heroin would have never exist. This is a drama so dramatic to karna hi padega.

I don't think to be a truly redeemed person Jagya has to stop 'shouting' or questioning his family. Redeemed people still have the right to question authority (elderly).

Regarding the Jagya/Ganga dynamics, this show is fictional based on social evils prevalent in society. Very few people want to watch a documentary, so creative leeway is expected. It's up to us the viewers to discern what we choose to take away. There will always be people (critics) who will 'talk' no matter what good a person does. For our own spiritual upliftment, it is up to us to decide whether we wish to see the good or the innuendo.

Jagya is awesome!...however I find it out of place when he or any other person imposes his own moral high on others. He was upset because Ganga left in the middle of night...a lot could have happened to her. A lot could have happened to his family too the previous day, when Ratan Singh attacked them for Ganga. Ganga was in her shock, and they were in theirs. When people are traumatized, it's sort of not ok to reprimand them for not being on their morally best behaviors. Ganga could have chosen to leave the Badi Haveli in the morning. Her pain, and her own guilt became secondary to her own child's welfare. I am not picking on Ganga for that. It was an emotional action on her end. But she was not the only one who had an emotional break down due to previous day's incidence. She has unfortunate circumstances, and that's it. People can do something about it; they can everything about it...or they can choose to not associate with it. However, it is their choice at the end of it---and choices cannot be imposed--especially when people are themselves in a lot of pain.

The way I see it is that Jagya lashed out at HIS family. He felt satisfied that he had his familiy's unwavering support when it came to him fulfilling his responsibility towards Ganga and Mannu. He had no inkling of the inner dynamics (politics) that was taking place daily in his house. Most men don't get embroiled in such things. He trusted his family to at least stop Ganga. What upset him was that no one stopped her. He looked specifically at his mother and Dadisa for this assurance and in turn found his mother petulant and was able to deduce something was not kosher. Of ourse he knows what his family has gone through but he knows that they have each other as support. The need of the hour was finding Ganga. Sure it's their choice, then why to live in a joint family. Then Everyone should just be Independant and not answerable to each other. No man is an island!
