There are so many contradictions in ganga's character. On the one hand she is shown as samajhdaar ladki, finding suitable girl for Jagya and also knowing what is appropriate and inappropriate.On the otherhand she is shown as falling hopelessly in love with her benefactor without any signal from him. And ganga is aware of this and thats why she is trying her best to accept Jagya's rishta with the wrong girl because of Sumitra's overenthusiasm(she tried to drill some sense but was rebuffed by angry sumitra) and then she finally resigned to the things happening like a drama.

This girl has not been treated as a human being since her childhood days.She has never ever known feelings like kindness concern leave alone love.

Neither was she loved nor did she love anyone.Mannu is the first human being for whom she felt all those emotions like love tenderness and concern caring and he is the first one to bring happiness to her life.He probably is the only who loves her.

This girl has for the first time saw people showing concern for her being kind to her when she came to BH.To top it all her benefactors main aim in life is to help her and protect her.

All this is something totally new to her.She has been starving for love and affection her entire life.

It is so easy for her to get attached to all these people and fall for them and not just dactarsa.

Right now all she really does not know whether what she feels for her doctorsa is love or gratutude couple with infatuation.She probably will not be able to tell the difference also.

But all the same she should be concentrating on making a life for herself and for her son with the help of these people instead of trying to act on her emotions and feelings for her benefactor.

She is not displaying her feelings for Jagya to the world. so no body is actually aware of them But she is giving into those emotions and letting those feelings affect her own life.

Instead of thinking of the things that are not possible in her life not now she should be thinking about things that can change her life for better.That takes a bit of will power.

First you said she shud not be acting on her emotions. And G has been actively shown to tell her self to shake herself free of thoughts about Jagya's engagement.

She can't help his thoughts in her head. But no where is she acting on them.

If tomorrow I'm angry at something and am trying to overcome it - without even verbalizing it - can I still be accused of being angry and acting on it ?
