Sumi had to put her hand out as a pretend blessing - she hates her so much - she was glaring at G - as if to say - You get out now and take your baggage with you (hear meaning Mannu coz J is attached to him).

Dadisa said morning - but Sumi never even offered that. Sumi has been making her life hell - Ganga understood that she was not wanted and why wud she leave her kid behind ? So he cud spill something and Sumi cud scream at him some more ?

Sumi has ceased to be compassionate re Ganga or her kid. Expecting her to say - carry some food for Mannu was also too much for her to offer. Sumi wanted Ganga OUT and till now - she's glad that G went - middle of the rainy night or hot sun not withstanding.

Honestly, I don't care what Ira and Saanchi say or do anymore.

Jagya has woken up out of his slumber and realized that Mannu has his heart in his tiny grip. Finally Jagya has found a reason to believe in and pursue it he will. He won't rest till he finds them and rehabilitates them. And in between - if he finds that Mannu's mom is also very adorable - I'll not mind. 😉

Sumi has lost all currency with Bhairon and Jagya and apparently now Anandi too. I hope they show her reflecting on all that's happened and wonder where she went so far away from her family's thinking. Hope she uses her own brains and not her maybe-to-be DIL.

Hope they show Nandu missing Mannu today and asking for him. Hope they show DS and Gehna being very reserved and polite with Sumi and distance her for a while. Give her the same cool treatment she used on Ganga to hurt n isolate her. 😡

It is so refreshing to watch this conflict of emotions . Jagya meanwhile has become thoroughly attached to Mannu . The void in his life after his burnt out experience with Gauri and losing Anandi has left him empty ...it was refreshed by the connection with the child . Thats why he was thinking only of the child .

Yes Kools. I whole heartedly agree.

Poor Ganga was probably grossly violated (raped) before even reaching puberty. Her encounters with males being of the nightmarish variety. Even in the beginning, remember how she shied away from Jagya, not even trusting him to help her. Remember how skittish she was. How could the poor soul know what love is. Which is why I have been saying that she does not recognize what her feelings for Jagya are. She knows she cares for him but does not know that this is what love feels like. Which is why I agree that when she sees Saanchi paired with Jagya, it's not jealousy she feels but heartfelt worry because she instinctively knows Saanchi is not good for Jagya.

Thankyou Kool for putting it across so beautifully. I had to leave for a while before I cud explain her.

Ganga's fallen for her hero and her hero-worship that has actually become love for the very first time in her life. A love that she doesn't understand and that bewilders and scares her. A love that she's been trying to deny herself and suppress from her own mind. It shows thru in moments of extreme crisis like when she pleaded with Lal Singh.

But later when Anandi questioned her - Ganga never claimed to aspire for something as great as that. she has put Jagya so high on her pedestal that if J himself were to say he wants her - she'd be shell shocked. She has no false notions about being liked or noticed by him and being chosen by him. She basks in his attention and likes to please him - just like children do - to gain attention.

This is a very pure and sweet puppy love from G's side. It hurts me so much to see people mock her as a gold digger and as a wannabe Cinderella.

But Leaves, some creative liberty has to be given.

Ganga's position is similar to many many girls in rural India except for the rich family benefactor angle. Similarly like Anandi's case of the abandoned child bride except for the rich SUPPORTIVE sasural angle. They have to show the plight and also show that rehabilitating these girls and allowing them to assimilate back into society is possible.

Just because the generosity is coming from a rich family does not automatically lessen the realism or the plight of such girls. As we accept that there are some mahaan folks in reality like Anandi then by the same token we should accept that there are such rich familes who are so magnanimous too.

There are so many contradictions in ganga's character. On the one hand she is shown as samajhdaar ladki, finding suitable girl for Jagya and also knowing what is appropriate and inappropriate.On the otherhand she is shown as falling hopelessly in love with her benefactor without any signal from him. And ganga is aware of this and thats why she is trying her best to accept Jagya's rishta with the wrong girl because of Sumitra's overenthusiasm(she tried to drill some sense but was rebuffed by angry sumitra) and then she finally resigned to the things happening like a drama.
