Shiv for me was to the point in his response to his family and UD.

Just hoping that Ira's harsh words do not open Anandi's old wounds and dent her confidence - would never forgive her if it happens.. But BV CVs are clever 😉, they may show us Anandi who may be momentarily sad for herself, but will feel for Ira and try to reach out - ultimately making Ira ashamed of her own prejudices😈. I want that to happen...

What DS may have done was wrong, but accusing A is just not the done thing 😡😡 You cannot question someone's integrity and accuse them of being dishonest!!!

so true...😕 and then to hear such words...as uttered by ira is very painful. but am sure shiv wont let anandi crumble under this blaming game...

Post is lovely as usual but I differ in your views.

Shiv's rudra roop was good till UD was there. All he said was fine. But, after UD left he didn't need to speak to his family like that. I didn't have a problem with what he said but the way he said. I understand he is stating his expectations but the tone was not right. I felt as though he was speaking in his office and not his home. True.. his mom insulted his wife. He gave defense for that. But, he needs to take care of his mom's emotions into considersation too. If he had handled the situation trying to explain or make her understand the situation then things would not have gotten worse and Ira wouldn't ahve felt that her son is taking sides. The previous time when Ira interfered in his private life he maturely told her that he was hurt. There was no maturity from him this time.

Yes.. a girl leaves everything and comes into the husband's house. Here, in this case.. Shiv has always placed Anandi first in front of his family. So, just because he is married does that mean he has no responsibility towards his family or respecting their sentiments ? Even in the past two incidents (Sankranthi incident and Ira learning of AnSh leaving Jeitsar from DS), Ira was hurt with his actions. Why shouldn't a mother feel insecure ?

Just because he is understanding and supports his wife does not make him a Joru ka ghulam and if he is understanding towards his mother, that doesn't make a son tied to her pallu.

I just want to say that both Ira and Shiv were at fault yesterday. Ira initially when she insulted Anandi and Shiv in the end after UD left. Shiv needs to learn to balance like every married man.

The last time too when Ira interfered in their personal life, Anandi was being accused. He didn't lose his cool and explained to her calmly and still conveyed to her that he was hurt. That is the maturity that Shiv is supposed to have which was lacking this time. He had a chance to explain to his family the entire situation in a sensible manner. He hid this thing himself from them. So, there is some explanation he owes them too. He can't just say that I am cool with it and so I want you guys to be cool with it too after all this drama. He was supposed to convince them and make them understand when his mom was accusing his wife that his wife was not wrong and not order them to not disrespect his wife. That is not done in my pov.
