Since people are making comparisons with Sridevi -
Sridevi though started off as a child actress she started playing adult full fledged roles as a teenager playing roles which required a teenager.The time and circumstances that are prevalent then did not make it look odd.
Esp in Tamil and Telugu films she started off when she was 15 years old and the roles required teenager an the story was all about this teenager who grows up mentally and emotionally by the time the story ends.They were all critically acclaimed films both for story and performances.
A critically acclaimed film which was made in Tamil and later on in Telugu revolved around a sixteen year old girl who lived in a small village and it was all about hopes and aspirations and disappointments a girl of that age faces.The title of the movie says it all - when translated it means 16 years of age.
So Sridevi did not do roles which are not appropriate for her age when she was a minor.
She was 18+ and legally adult when she was paired with all those leading men who were more than twice her age.
Avika - is not legally adult and the role that she is playing suits actors who are older than her.So I don't think the comparision with Sreedevi is right.
