CHAPTER - 9
The Hyderabad Match was going on in full swing!!! As Maahi has already proved his range in cricket the crowd's expections were sooo high!!! Shanaya joins the players and sits with them on the slot allotted for the team. The match is very important for both Maahi and the entire team as such; for the team, its because it is this match that's gonna decide their entry into the semi-finals but... the match is with one of the strongest & consistent team in the Indian Premier League- The Chennai Soooper Kings!!! The Pune Warriors were putting their heart & soul into the game to beat CSK and reach the finals..Rajasthan Royals and Royal Challengers Bangalore were also into the semi-finals. For Maahi it is because he has been giving super hit performances in the previous matches and in the present one. Furthermore if the team wins today because of Maahi, then he might be offered to join the Indian team. ;)

The Pune supporters were literally on their chairs!!!
"WHAT A NAIL BITING MATCH!!!" buzzed the commentator..
(this eye chat happened in just seconds) Maahi gave a sad "I-don't-think-I-can-do-this" look to Shanaya. Seeing his exhausted and not soo confident face, she immediately got up from her seat and started hooting and shouting "MAAHI!!! MAAHI!!! MAAHI!!!" All that he could hear from her and the crowd is "Go Maahi GO!! Get up hero!!!" She gave him the boost that he needed big time at that moment!!!
Finally he got up in an andreline rush and started running to complete the second run'

Wicket down!!!!! and bat crosses the crease!!!!
CSK were confirming it as a wicket and happily turned towards the umpire but the umpire was not sure and so he shifted the responsibility to the third-umpire'
After pausing and replaying for five times... the umpires decision came on the huge LCD Screen!!! It said

After looking at the final verdict on the Shanaya gets totally galvanized and like a true fan plus a friend of his, she runs towards him and hugs him (a tight bear wala hug)
The entire stadium was cheering for him! "Maahi Maahi The man of the Match! Maahi Maahi"
(Soon after the immediate celebration the team with no further time to waste, landed up in Jaipur Airport)
Aashani kirano vikharaaye, umangevi chhalkaaye ...Rays of hope are scattered, waves of excitement are brimming..
Mann hal ve thi gungunaaye.. haye haye haye...Heart is humming slowly too
He enters the Airport with Shanaya right beside him and the whole team along with Anandi and Meenu too. He spots his family in a distance; runs towards them and gets their blessings and hugs. The entire family welcomes him wholeheartedly. Shanaya din't wanna interrupt his family time and so was watching all the all the love and care that was showered on Maahi by his family from a distance.In between all this, Ansh had a long eye chat which ended in each other giving "I'm sooo waiting to be in ur arms" look.

Shanaya: Guys wait! I've a small surprise for Maahi!!!
Hearing that, Maahi,his family and the entire team were looking puzzled. She takes them out without waiting for any reply.
The Shehnai music
In the parking lot a brand new "AUDI A4 3.0TDI QUATTRO" was waiting for him. "A gift from Rehan for his star player!!!" said Shanaya looking at his confused face. Maahi's heart literally came right up to his mouth hearing that!!! He was totally speechless with the attack but wanted to speak so many things!!! Finally he just managed to say "Thank You for the surprise; for everything."

sapnon ki dehri pe dil ki baaji re shehnai, shehnaai, shehnayi... At the doorstep of dreams, shehnai of heart is played
Just before Shanaya could reply to his"for everything," a girl spots Maahi and calls out to her friends "hey guys! Isn't that Maahi?" And in a matter of seconds Maahi gets mobbed by a whole gang of girls. And the crowd was constantly adding. The family and Shanaya sits in the car and Shanaya calls her manager to make arrangements. Meanwhile Maahi is waving his fans and the whole family getting thrilled to see Maahi's fan following! Anandi looks as if all this can't be true and Shiv is smiling at the love of Maahi's fans. The rest of the family were very happy for Maahi and were looking at him with aww'
khwaabon ke beej, kachchi zameen pe hum ko bona hai, ...We have to sow the seeds of (our) dreams in this raw land

On the way, Anandi points at Maahi and Shanaya's posters (with others in the background) and Maahi-Shanaya gets really surprised of the fact that the people of Rajasthan are supporting Maahi even though he's playing for another team. Meenu's smile just gets wider and wider and Shiv and Daddu watch Meenu's face all proud of her son's success.
Raas racheelyo, saaj sajeelyo, shubh ghadi chhe aavi...Let's dance, get adorned, it's a holy moment
Aachha aachha tamtamaata shaamna o chhe lavi, ho laavi... It has brought those light twinkling star-like dreams of future...
They reach the hotel and were again taken aback looking at a huge group of reporters from various newspapers waiting for them. All the reporters throng them. They click Shanaya-Maahi pictures and throw various questions at them. It seemed that the whole world was revolving around Maahi's victory at that moment.

The family felt a bit sidelined but still they din't give much thought to it for they were enjoying the success of Maahi. They looked at Maahi who was occasionally looking at them (as if to ensure they are fine) and they gave him back a reassuring look. Some people asked them if Maahi is their son and congratulated them. Soon after the interview Shanaya leaves saying that she has got an urgent work to do.

As Maahi with family and the other players with walks towards their respective rooms, a sense of pride for Maahi and the team is filled in the atmosphere. Everyone was looking at Maahi as if he's the next big wonder and Maahi looking around was trying to understand what was going on around him and... within him.
(IN ANSH ROOM)
Shiv has just changed to his purple sea green tee-shirt and grey track pants and moves towards the sofa near a big open window to keep his towel in the suitcase.
Anandi rushes towards him and hugs him from back- a tight and intense bear wala hug' her hands clutching onto his shoulders tightly.

Shiv holds her hands and turns towards her, smilingly and with the passion pouring from his voice said "Even i missed you wifey." She immediately hid her face in his chest unable to manage the look that he was giving her.

He then carried her towards the bed and gently made her lie down and he lied down right next to her with her head resting on his chest He slowly ran his fingers through her hair and she could feel the heat rising eratically within her and both of them got lost with the moment. Though nothing much was being said or done, there was a great energy and intensity throughout the room- the energy and intensity of their love for each other. It was making them go mad!!!
This was the first time Anandi initiates and looking at his pleasantly surprised face, she blushed and turned her back towards him as if both willing and unwilling to control her intense feelings for him.

This time Shiv did not make her turn towards him or hold her hand cause that wasn't needed..because she wouldn't go away from him. She herself then turns back.. eyes looking here and there towards the ground and Shiv smiles looking at her ; as if to decide; whether to go ahead or not. Finally she gasps.. closes her eyes and lifts her head high as if to invite her husband. Her body shivering a bit and heart beating fast '.

She then puts her hands near his ears and gestures him to bow down a bit. Obediently :P he does so.. and she kisses him on his forehead' and on cheeks-and' and' one thing lead to another' she'd been missing his touch and the intimacy since one month and was was more than happy to be beside him.
They were totally shattered and exhausted with showing their love for each other!!! they were lying down with Anandi resting her head in Shiv's bare chest and Shiv's hands were tightly fixed around her waist. They both rested in the same position. A look of contentment was sooo visible in both their faces. They were experiencing the feel of each other's touch after one whole month for around two hours before they drifted to their dreamland.

Maahi was somehow restless. The day on which he should be the happiest - his dreams are fulfilled - he had used the only opportunity he had got very well - he had established himself - talks on him being absorbed into the Indian cricket tem were vigorous but apart from so many good things something was bothering him. It was confusing him. The relationship between Shanaya and him is not just a friendship anymore. It has become something much more now..much deeper.. and somehow intense.
But...
People say that she shares that relationship with Rehan. If she shares "that" relationship with him... Whats with Rehan? What is in her heart?
